That’s how all the countrymen work with wood for millennium until like a few decades ago?
Keep in mind that that's how woodworking was done for millenia. We've only had electrical tools for the last century or so, which means we're still in range of books about woodworking being made from a time when electrical tools didn't exist. That aside from the books by modern woodworkers who prefer hand tools. Give Lost Art Press a look if you're curious.

А главное что без электро и бензоинструмента обошёлся. Такому человеку конец света вообще не страшен. Ведь подавляющему большинству "мастеров", коих в интернете пруд пруди, отключи электричество и они табурет смастерить не смогут.

@@Dmitry1979 а как насчет кулачкового патрона для дрели и сверл по металлу?Он их из дерьма вылепит, в случае конца света?А как насчет пилок для лобзика?А может для рашпиля накопать железной руды из болота, цементировать углеродом в золе ?Бесспорно,парень молодец.Но без достижений технологической эры никуда не денешься.Да и зачем?Пердеть над одной коробочкой весь день и получить косые зазоры, или то же самое сделать на станке за считанные часы с минимальными допусками.

Он берет курицу, идёт в город, меняет её на сверло, возвращается домой и работает дальше в своё (заметьте! в своё) удовольствие, почему нет? А продолжительность изготовления ящика защищает его от профессионального заболевания Оператора станка с ЧПУ - хронического алкоголизма с 30 лет.. ;-)

Usually china is in the news for negative and controversial topics. But him and Liziqi made me realise it isn’t all like that. This really improved my image of China. No politics, fighting, looking down or showing off. Just peaceful. I wish more of China and world was like this neutral, quiet and peaceful.

That plane has handles. How come no one thought of that when thinking up the standard plane we use in the west. Pure genius. It needs to be implemented. Also the sharp chisels.. so satisfying to see them cut wood like butter. I could watch all day
