He has had time to break Sigrid into being an obedient dog, and has had a child with her, which would give her even more incentive to obey as to prevent him harming their child (more than raising him as a dog as well is already doing). So, yes, a very messed up ending!
Great angle...but I see it as he made Ingrid and Frank breed!!! That's why he was so unattached at the very last scene. The bastard breeded/bred them!!! Eitherway; I can easily see why you see it that way

@21street-erfication90 I believe she was already pregnant (during the weekend). Remember she ran to the toilet and vomited? That was morning sickness. Sigrid was pregnant with Christian's child by the time they went to or were at the cabin.

Hi there, just to answer your question, while what they're doing certainly looks like puppy play and anyone could PROBABLY interpret this for whatever pleasure or purpose they like, REAL puppyplay is a form of bdsm which does involve strictly consenting adults. So if anyone did what christian is doing, it would just be abuse and very illegal. Bdsm/role play is all about consent! Anyway nice video :)

Frank was horrifically tortured for simply saying 1 human word. He was scared out of his mind plus the guys got a good foot on him and was able to pin him down even when Frank was fighting back effortlessly. As for not going on town on him when he was stunned she was trying to get them both out of his grasp

Its like asking why doesn't an abused child fight back because the abuser has all the power and your scared what he would do if your caught. As for Sigrid throughout the movie they show her to be a normal girl you could even say gullible so when faced with a horrific situation she just focused on getting the 2 of them out of there. Both their actions make sense for their character. Frank has been broken, isolated and dehumanised. He took a chance on Sigrid cause she's the first other human he was allowed to interact with and was trying to warn her. Sigrid isn't a person who knows how to handle situations like this so she plans to just run because the attacker is a lot stronger.

Her friend new exactly who she was dating. Christian would have been investigated and caught right after Sigrid disappeared. Big hole in the plot.
