The new R211T, which is the variant of an Open Gangway Car was doing some speed test runs along Brighton, though it was supposed to be along Sea Beach that couldn't happen do to it being under construction which lead it to be tested along Brighton which made sense because the (B) isn't running on the weekends. Now, with the R211T it was doing some various runs between Avenue M -Avenue H, later on it went past the other stations till Prospect Pk and then came back up as it was getting ready to head back the yard for the day, the T/O's was having fun with the train as they gave us transit fanners some great horn action, nice speed runs and changed the signs for us the train was signed up primarily as the (B), then for a brief moment the (Q), afterwards they signed it up as the (D) and it stayed like that for the rest of the Day.
I must say I'm extremely impressed with the train and my goodness the traction Motors of that train is a beast I enjoy the sound of the train it reminds me of a bit of the trains that's out there in the UK, and it's a very photogenic train too, I had a blast getting shots of it along Brighton.

Not sure when they'll be used for passenger service, though the R211A version is in passenger service.

@breadandcircuses8127 They actually are able to run on the Exp track, but a short portion like 42nd to 59th, these trains are actually good. They are in service on the C as we speak…
