A close friend of the family got me this knife as a gift long time ago its a good knife my family is blessed to know him He was a marine in the us military he died 2 years ago he still lives in our hearts The family was going to tear down his home i would have kept it and fixed it before they did i went in there and got his military things and some other stuff to keep in honor of him a good man God bless brother
Another Great review , I'm A Case man I've owned and used them since my grandpa gave me my 1st .You will live the trapper I own a couple they are a good all purpose utility back up to my Tacticle blade at work
The trapper is amazing. I've had it for a little while now, just haven't done the review yet. I have so many. I just love Case blades. I have 7 or 8 Case knives now and have had zero issues with any.

I’ve been thinking about getting the Case Bowie knife. I’ve been trying to find reviews for it ,but it seems your the only one I’ve seen actually use it.
Thats what drove me to start reviewing knives. I wanted the Case XX Bowie and all I could find was table tops and unboxing. Those vids don't show you anything about the blades function. So I bought the knife and did my own. That Bowie has now been used in 4 different of my vids and it'll keep on going.

I have never had any luck with the new stacked leather handled case knifes I had four of them that the butts came loose and fell off less than a year after buying them than again I have a couple old stacked leather handled case knifes that I use often and never had a problem with they are generally losing their quality
@@DonnieBAllDay that's why I bought a few of em it had to have been a defect because those aren't the kinds of knifes I abuse they caust too much I'm sending one in for repair
If you plan on it being more hunting knife than camp knife, I'd take the Case because it's flexible and a better Skinner. As a camp knife where you will be processing wood and cutting cordage, the Buck is better as it's a stiff blade.
Donnie B All Day Thanks for the quick reply! I ended up ordering the case. Not sure what the deal is with the handles, though. It seems like only the mushroom cap version has the cool red inlays now, though I prefer the shape of the other handle. Looks like yours has both features I like, but I guess they’ve changed up how they make em.
@@adammeade2300 I personally love the Case. When it comes to cleaning a skin, nothing is better than a sharp and flexible blade. Only a few I've used can lay down flat at all angles. This one does it. Not going to chop down any trees, but processing meat will be a joy
Donnie B All Day Yeah, I’ve got an axe and a Camillus Carnivore, so I should be covered for chopping, but I don’t own a fixed blade of any real quality so I had to adopt that knife! Thanks for helping me decide, brother.
i have had this knife for 6 years I live in Texas this knife is my everyday carry got it in Buffalo horn had to replace the sheath but still my best knife carried for 6 years it's on my hip as I text my if u look at my video u would see I try to show this badboy off buffalo horn different sheath my sidekick it's my personal defense knife good slasher sticker ...............

I have a full size case trapper the blades are nice on that one they taper down real thin it keeps a good edge

I buy some to collect but also to use if you take care of them they last forever you you have to handle them kinda like a fallet knife
i have the same knife i love it and it hold up well for me in Alaska i grab it all the time and have no worries
