Looks like an amazing blade. I would prefer a blacked-out blade for tactical light/reflective discipline. If the world went caput as it does seem to be close to doing, I would want a knife that would not give away my position, like a reflective signater. Sweet blade for peacetime ops though!
As a collector of antique Bowies I can see your dilemma, and you've made a valiant effort. Have you ever considered Bowies first knife (before the clipped point one), the Searles Bowie? It's a fine knife... in the guise of a ornate European butcher knife. That would be a phenomenal addition to any knife collection. Many thanks for your reply.
Yes, thanks for appreciating my effort. Actually, the Searles Bowie is one of my favorite knives, and I also put my full effort into showcasing it for my viewers. Again, thanks for your appreciation. :)
How do you know it's an exact replica of the one James Bowie had? It has NEVER been found... it was reputedly taken by a Mexican army soldier, even historians would tell you this. Check your history books before you make such a claim. Otherwise, a nice knife.
You’re absolutely right, but we make all our knives to closely match historical replicas. While we don’t have direct proof, we ensure that our knives are as similar as possible to the original historical ones. For example, we know that James Bowie’s knife had a coffin-shaped handle, and we incorporate such details to make our knife as accurate as possible. Thankyou. Regards Dundee.
BS. No one knows what the "Bowie Knife" that was used in that fight that made its way into popular lingo even was. It was most likely a common itchen knife from the only real accounts of the incident.

I’d like to know more about this Knife company does anybody have any information? I’d specifically like to know where these knives are made?
