Model X...it’s easier to get in and out of...and is much more spacious...especially since the 2nd row seats now fold down...though the Model S has a sportier look and I love the self presenting handles...the Model X is my fav for sure.

2018 Tesla Model X content update please! It is flush when putting the backseats down!
Heads up- In the model X trunk, the floor/board right behind the 3rd row seats can rise up to become (mostly) flush.

The Model X if I could afford it. It really shows how the future could change our lives. Model S is amazing an also if you like acceleration you cannot beat it but the Model X P100D is no slouch ether.

I like the style of the S better than the X.
I really like my S, but getting a Model X for my parents and grandparents who aren't as mobile and as young as I am :-). S is just more efficient and practical on road trips.... plus it looks nicer and it is sportier. Either way, both are jems and must haves.
To be honest I was not expecting much from this video, but you hit some good points, real life points. I wanted to see you sit in those 3rd row seats. The 0-60 time is pointless in a real world review. That creaking noise was a big great eye (ear) opener.
I'm getting a Model x bc
I have a toddler and 2 teens who fight about sitting next to each other 🙄 we have a RV so towing is a factor too. However 2 of my kids will be out of the house soon so once they are I'd probably get a cpo model s for everyday use& my husband use the x since his job requires him to travel all over Texas he could sleep in it instead of taking the camper
I sure get more looks in my Model S. the Model X only looks cool when the doors are open lol
I’d go with the model s bc of its range but otherwise if i had $100k just laying around i would buy the model x. Just the bad part about the lion wing doors is bc when there’s water on the roof, the water drops onto the seats which soaks the seats

What type of service did you have done on your Model S?
Hi and Merry Christmas! We changed out the wiper and wiper fluids, did a speed increase, an alignment and tire check, and did a filter replacement.
Merry Christmas to you as well. It completely slipped my mind that the wipers, filters, and tires still have to be maintained, lol! My mind has been so focused on the performance and features anytime I watch a Tesla video. Thanks for sharing and all the best for the new year.

Even tho the falconwing doors are cool. I’d rather have normal doors front and back.
Because of the skibox but Also in tight spaces it gets very hard to climb in a door who’s only half open...
But at the same time i love SUV. And That it’s all electric.
Hope the nextgen Model S gets automatic doors. Then Im sold!

The Model X rear 2 seats do fold flat, the gap you had is adjustable if you look closely you can see the handle for the shelf and the 2 supports that bring the adjustable shelf to the same height as the seats. Also, I think you missed out on the fact that the Model S interior is outdated in many small ways compared to the Model X. (Model X has door pockets, lighted vanity mirrors, Touch-sensitive lighting (not physical buttons like the S). There is speculation that the Model S interior will be refreshed soon as the Model 3 interior is vastly more useful than the S.

Ashley Renne: Travel Lushes Yeah. I identify with you in a lot of ways. I'm actually in Dominican republic for the first time ever for vacation and to meet my wife's relatives! As for similar travels, my ex was from Sri Lanka so I spent time there, obviously India, lived in South Africa, honeymoon in Pukhet, etc. etc. I feel like we gotta overlapping Indo-Afro-Caribbean environmental, global traveller vibes!

I hope you're having fun in DR too! I was supposed to go there earlier this month for a press trip but I had a schedule conflict.
Ashley Renne: Travel Lushes I lived in Durban. Which turns out to have the largest Indian population outside of India that's been there since the 19th century brought there in a similar way as Indians in the Caribbean. Completely different from Cape Town. Having a great time escaping the cold of Massachusetts!!! If you come to DR, I've got the perfect people to take you around. Also have someone for Jamaica too. I know folks with an ecofarm residence in St. Thomas district.

Model X
Model X is much higher making wind resistance an big issue. Would be nicer without rude dark windows which steal peoples' view of the road ahead. Also doesn't have the cool presenting door handles.

Unfortunately this video is not apples to apples, more like oranges to apples. Since the model X is a older model than the model S.
mrderek800 since you know so much, please enlighten us on the difference between early 2017 Model X (older) and Model X now. I’ll wait.....
Their are many changes that are in the newer model X than the one shown. Including, the battery since they now have more limited options than before, the interior and seating options have changed, the buttons to open the falcon winged doors, folding rear seats, pretty sure that Tesla changed tot he LED headlights recently but can't quite remember when, the amount of padding in the seats, how much more comfortable than are, and the type of material they used for the seats for now and beforehand, and I can't quite remember when they introduced the heap filter but I am pretty sure that it was before this X. So, if their are anymore questions, comments or concerns I would be happy to answer.
mrderek800 I’ll go ahead and answer for you since your still unsure about the changes. The only note worthy change from the Model X shown in this video to the Model X sold today are the seats and maybe the buttons to open the doors.
Build quality is also much better on newer X models
Hey @mrderek800 :-) This was a comparison between the early-mid 2017 models of both cars. The Model X I was using in this video is comparable to the model of my current Model S, which we got in mid 2017. So I was comparing those two to see if I made the right decision in buying what was available at the time of my purchase.
