Martha sways is one of my favorite songs. The lyrics are incredibly beautiful. Great work of art.
The whole album is on my all time top ten list. And will always be. Hugs and kisses to Andy.
The string section is genius. Dissonance at its finest.
Such an incredible song and album, I'm a bit surprised Andy hasn't gained more traction. I only recently found his music and it's just phenomenal.
It has soul, and therefore isn't backed by mainstream media.
It's not so much that he borrowed it, it's a reference. The song is playing at the party.
Many of us miss our exes..but too afraid to share that thought while you are with someone..This song was liberating!
I wouldn’t say miss them but miss the unique connections we experience with all kinds of people.
This is a love song about someone who he had previous loved.

martha sways and i follow suit - He's not thinking about the present, he is stuck thinking about his ex-lover, but his body still moves almost like a robot
she fills my glass and i toss it back - He downs his glass as soon as she gives it to him, meaning he wants to escape
into the space that once held you - The drink goes into his body and soul, just like he held his lover, in his soul.
and dance dance to the radio while the devil takes control - The devil being the thoughts inside his head, he is overcome with sadness
there's a weight holding me down - the weight of the memories and emotions associated with his ex-lover
martha says it's all in my head - true
i look at the lights dancing in her eyes - he is mesmerized by this which deepens his thoughts
and i wanna die dancing in her eyes - he realizes his own thoughts, he wants to die because he hates the situation he is in, grieving heavily over an ex-lover
martha spins and i catch her hand - Suddenly jointing him to think of the present
she smiles and laughs bringing me back - Where he finally snaps out of his negative thoughts and returns to Martha

Yea Allright. No offense bud, but I think that everyone who listened to this track got that pretty clearly by just listening to it.

@@FrancescaCroci Hi Francesca. I'm not sure if it played then, it caught my attention towards the end when Helen is talking to Iggy about her memories and remembers the truth. I believe it was when she went to his office.
