Thanks for the name check Robin! The fame might go to Shauna and Alison's heads though. Another great video - keep up the good work.
You're welcome mate. You'll need to get them on the mackerel wraps Dougie. Good fuel for the hills. 😁
Enjoyed your video, it was ding dong or superbos I should say...😁 loved the views too, great video well done you and Kev!❤❤❤
Haha, thanks Janie. 😁 👍🏻
Nice one Robin. Bloody stunning around there 😎⛰⛺️👍
Cheers mucker. 😎 👍🏻
A blue sky Scotland, nothing better. Great video, thanks 👍
Cheers VM. Not even the biters spoiled this one. 😁 👍🏻
Gosh, so remote. Loved the getting past the Coos. And yes Kev do a review of pyramid tent. Dad xx
Thank you. 😎 👍🏻
Ahhh those damn midges! 🙈🙈 great video and a massive thanks for the shoutout 🤗🤗 your a legend!! X appreciate it x
You're welcome and thanks for the medal too. 😁 🏅
Nice part of the world, that - and interesting wee bonus vid too! Yes, Kev definitely needs to review his morning attire - and any other uses it might have....😆
Haha, cheers Paul. Definitely demand to see a review on Kev's tent. ⛺
Haha will do Paul. 😆
Robin, I think you 2 were a bit more anxious about the 'cow gauntlet' than those super chilled cows🐮 A fantastic place for walking on a cracking day with superbly sharp views👍 Hate false summits too😊 Pasties sound so much better😊 Kev's tent looks well as a pyramid or a cape👍 A lovely evening and morning on the summit☀ A super trip👍
Haha, those cows were super chilled. 🐮 Was a top trip around, cheers Gerry. 😁 👍🏻
Yet another great video Robin, and some cracking mincing from Kev at 1.05!! Hope all's well.
Cheers CC, aye he's perfected that walk. 😂
Mincing. 😂
Nice one guys .
Good video Robin.
That was funny Kev with tent on his napper , strike a pose Kev 🤣🤣
Cheers Stevie. lol aye some laddie. 😂
Fantastic as always Robin (and Kev!) keep up the good work!!
Cheers mate. 😎 👍🏻
Cheers mate. 😁
Nice to see the scarp back in action. I know it can be a pain to pack into a rucksack though - and putting it into the small tent bag is hard work especially if it's wet.
I have started to remove the inner and put that into its own light weight bag. This means:
1. The inner doesn't get wet if the outer is wet
2. It's easier to get the outer into the tent bag
3. More importantly, it helps to redistribute the tent weight in your pack instead of all the weight being stuffed down one side of the pack.
It is actually not much of a faff to add / remove the inner. A bit of practice with the hooks does it.
Long live the scarp 1 :)
I'm still loving the Scarp Imran. 🏕
If I was using the Scarp for more than 1 night at a time, I might adopt your technique. Otherwise I just fold it in half, tuck in the sides and just roll it up with the rods at the end. Hold the tent between my legs and slip on tent bag.
Brilliant lads.
Stunning Hike and wildcamp.
Great vid as always and the views where stunning😍.

Cheers Tam. 😎 👍🏻
Aw man, false summits are a killer! Looked like another great time out in the hills. That ridge along Fhada looked interesting too. Nice one chaps.
Cheers
Cheers Leon, I can't remember the last time I've experienced so many false tops like that before. 😅 Possibly Ben Vane in Arrochar? 🤔
@@WalkWithWallace it’s the only arrochar one I’ve not done! I’ll need to watch out for that! I always have a wee chuckle when I get to a false top, otherwise it gets pretty demoralising!
Was out in the TS last week and its tremendous. Need to take it up high and see how it performs. But loving it so far.
Cheers
@@NameisLeon brilliant mate, but don't make me regret selling mine. 😂
@@WalkWithWallace haha, well I’ll not big it up too much then, but am well happy with it! I’ll let you borrow it if you’re feeling like you’re missing out!!
Cheers,
@@NameisLeon guid luck with it mate. 🏕 👌🏼
Great Video Fellas...a big wander superb commentary as always Robin and yeah let's have that tent review Kev but can we have it in that impeccable English accent of yours... All the best boyz superbo adventures 👍🏻
Cheers Andrew and no pressure for Kev now. The review is in demand. 😁
@@WalkWithWallace looking forward to it mate 😁😁😁

@@Kev_Russ good man 😁
Outstanding again Robin! Always a pleasure watching! Thank you!👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you Allan and for dropping a comment in too. 😁 👍🏻
Hi Robin, nice to see your new adventure!😀
Thank you 😎 👍🏻
Stunning place and this looks like a fab adventure and camp 😊 Hate those false summits as well!
Thanks Yasmin. 😁 Having an altimeter watch helps root out those pesky false tops. 😂
Great vid, brings back memories of like you said, an underappreciated hill. I went up the west scrambly ridge you pointed out. To get to it I jumped into a field with "beware of the bull" signs everywhere and spent the entire ascent working out escape routes should a bull charge me. I do remember the ridge being good fun although very long, which I shouldn't have been surprised about given it's name of Fhada. And then a terrible descent off A'Ghlas-bheinn getting swarmed by deer keds and cleggs. I agree, bring on winter and spring!
Cheers Daniel.
Do you reckon Kev and I would have been alright on the ridge even with camping packs? Thankfully the bulls and cows were super chilled. 🐮 😁
Beinn Fhada definitely lives up to its name, goes on for miles before it eventually drops down towards Glen Affric.
@@WalkWithWallace Technical wise the ridge is barely a Grade 1 scramble so you'd would have been fine. However it would have been an absolute slog with the heavy bags gaining the ridge. Steep and pathless, which means slow going and unable to run from the midges. So yous defo made the correct route choice for the day(s). Still to do the Corbett myself
@@DanielLennon91 yeah, glad we just went down the stalkers path then.
Cracking video again guys, thanks for sharing your adventure as always! 🥾⛰🏴
Cheers Dave for dropping and leaving a comment. 😎 👍🏻
Another great video from the dynamic duo 👏 still to do those hills 🏔 so interesting to see the different possibilities 😀 the coos gie me the fear anaw btw 🐮 🤣 superbos guys 👌 atb Brian 👍
Cheers Bri, aye its when they've got wee calves it can get even more interesting. 😂
Brilliant video mate. Looked great on the big Roger Mellie. 📺 Another top Munro/Corbett combo Weekend. 😎👌 Moan the Mackerel Wraps. 🐟🌯
Cheers mucker, throughly enjoyed this one and the banter of course. 😁 👍🏻
Hats off to your commitment to bagging Munro's Robin. Yeah, gotta lighten the load to do it though. Great views and it's always fantastic chatting to other walkers. It can make a trip. Well, with a few ups and downs I think that was a class trip overall. It wasn't a cat walk it was a cape walk. Ha ha! Well, goof going. Mark
It was an amazing journey doing the Munros, lots of memories and made loads of friends. 😊
I love how you bring folk into your videos, I'm a bit more shy in asking. Glad they both took part.
🤣 @ Cape walk.
@@WalkWithWallace Hey that's good to hear of the trip Robin. Result! Most people are cool with video I find and if not it's cool to. Shyness? I can be also. They looked decent girls. Power to the cape!
@@WyeExplorer funny they recognised us. Fame beacons. 😁
@@WalkWithWallace Hey, in from the start.
fab video Robin. Really enjoyed that :)

Good stuff guys. A nice adventure. It's a bird, it's a plane? Naa, just Kev.
Haha, cheers Andy. 😁 👍🏻
🕊️✈️😁
"Tutankhamun will be quaking in his boots" classic 🤣 Definitely like Kevs new tent modeling technique too, all the other youtubers have been doing it wrong 😄😄 Great effort guys! Kris.
Fantastic upload my friend, cinematography here is on another level! Wow!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you. 😎 👍🏻
Grid refs inserted into film, nice touch 👌
Cheers, I started adding GRs a while back should anyone wish to follow the same route.
Cracking video, always thought this would make a good two-day adventure. I remember all those false summits on the Munro it seemed to go on forever.
Cheers Jon. The first time I only came down that way and the memory is quite vague after 10 years. 🤣
Robin, are you secretly walking the Cape Wrath again!? 😆 Kevs face when you said he was doing next year lol
You know what, doing the Cape Wrath was like joining all the dots from the routes into the Munros and Corbetts. 😁 👍🏻
@@WalkWithWallace I think your absolutely right there. 👍
@@greyhikes5236 would you do it all again? I certainly would. 😁
@@WalkWithWallace already planning for next year North to South 😄
@@greyhikes5236 ooooft. 😁 Not jealous at all.
Not sure about the partial nakedness. Love the new LNT image. Excellent video of the trip. Can you ask Kev to review his tent please? Well done on dealing with the Keds - little pains they are... Thanks for sharing Robin. 😎
Will do Jim. 😉👍
Haha, cheers Jim. Hoping to see Kev's review soon. 😁 👍🏻
Brilliant Robin! Absolutely loved it! Blue steel! Lol. Looking forward to returning here to do the other Munro and probably that Corbett too. Definitely a change in the weather over the two days. Great craic again and a braw wee film! Kev get a review of that tent! Cheers guys Paul
Cheers Paolo, the Corbett is definitely a worthy add on when you're next in the area. 👌🏼
Will do Paul. 😉
Nice one Boss well done super !
Cheers mucker. 😎 👍🏻
Loved that mate, some brilliant filming👌🏻 Views for days😍 When were yous there mate?
Cheers Mark, this was just last weekend mate. 👍🏻 😁
Awesome adventure Robin and awesome views too! The last time I was on Skye it was ferry only! 👍👍
Oooft, you're due another trip then. Was it late 90s the bridge was built? 🤔
Brilliant buddy, wit a walk
Cheers Gaz, it was a decent shift. 👣 🏕 🗻
I really love your adventure, I'm so lucky finding your channel. Warm greetings by new friend....
Thank you. 😎 👍🏻
Another great video Robin. Thanks again for sharing your adventures. Could you tell me if there was a charge for leaving your car parked at the Mountain Rescue car park?
Cheers Euan, no charge but there was a donation box.
@@WalkWithWallace Thanks Robin. Good to know before heading up next week.
That looked like a great wee trip! I might copy that route, as I haven't climbed Beinn Fhada yet. I've climbed A' Glas Bheinn but in atrocious weather so I didn't see any of the views. A friend who climbed Beinn Fhada via the ridge said I must do it that way... maybe next spring before the midgies come out. Very intrigued by the camera in the jetboil by the way... interesting shot! 🤔
Thanks Natalie. The ridge did look tasty and I don't think it's overly difficult either. Maybe another time. 😁 The Corbett is a well worthy detour, the views were better than expected.
Excellent vid mate.
Thanks mate. 😎 👍🏻
Another great video. Will add that trip to my list.
Cheers Jack, it was an enjoyable tour this one. 👣
Another great adventure Robin! Shame about the insects, always there to ruin a great summer day, looked a good camp spot nonetheless. I always follow along your adventures by getting OS maps up and seeing where you are, gives me some good ideas for the next time I get over to Scotland.
Cheers Tom, at least the insects will be dying out pretty soon. 🤞🏻
Nice to hear you follow the routes on the map, it's kinda why I fire in the GRs so people can do that. 👍🏻
Braw vid Robin. Nice to see Morven again. Cracking campsite there. Weather looked ace if a tad hot. Are you looking at doing the Glen Affric Trail? It would be a nice build up for Kev doing the Cape Wrath Trail in a few years. ATB.
Cheers Buddy, I've often thought about doing the Affric Kintail Way for so far then combine it the with Great Glen Glen variant of the CWT.
Hi Robin
Great video as always. Brought back great memories of my final munro of my first round which was A Ghlas Bheinn in 1995. Second round was on Ladhar Bheinn 20 years later. Hopefully this weekend I am heading to Strawberry Cottage in Glen Affric with Sgurr Gaorsaic as my target.Got about 35 Corbetts still to do. Might make it but getting on a bit now😉
Cheers Paul, fine Munro to finish on by the way. You're a few a head of me in the Corbett count. I've got 57 of the tough little buggers. Definitely harder than the Munros imho.
Great adventure as always.
Thank you. 😊 👍🏻
Great vlog. Nice to see you sticking with the Scarp as well. 👍🏻
Cheers Sean, despite my minor gripes I still love the Scarp.
@@WalkWithWallace £60 for a new strut is a pretty big gripe tbh. Wondering if you could have sourced in the UK or adapted a longer pole?
Opened my eyes a bit tbh. I have read that people really struggle to remove them to make the tent more packable. So I thought they were almost permanent. Not the best way to find out they’re not 😉 I just pack as is and work round the pack size. It all fits in somewhere!
Glad you have still have it though. There was a flurry of people claiming it was their perfect, dream, tent of tents and then it disappeared off their channels. 🤔
Anyway, happy camping!
@@Four_Furry_Paws I think there is a company that could have knocked one up, probably cost me around £30-40. Plus I wouldn't have got a beanie hat. Done now I guess.
The struts would have to be put into place just before pitching, it would be a faff to be honest. So I just leave them on, tent goes in sideways in my pack no problem at all. There was a flurry they were very popular, probably when Messner got his. Mines is definitely a keeper mate. 🏕 👍🏻
Good stuff robin 👍⛺️🏴
Cheers Alan. 😎 👍🏻
Good trip that mate. I concur re the pole sockets on the Scarp, a bit shit really. A nice grommet would've been better.....still a great tent though. 👍
Cheers Chris, FWIW despite the flaws the Scarp is definitely a keeper.
Great stuff as always 👏
🎶 Kevin! Kevin! Do A Review! 😂
Another great wee trip out and helpful to see the terrain / summit areas of these hills I've still to do, which is a lot.
How many Corbett's are you down to now?
Cheers Bryan, as I type I'm currently trudging up Corbett 167. So if all goes well today then 55 left.
@@WalkWithWallace texting on the hoof, you're a mad man 😂 Stay safe mate 👍🏼
@@AScotsmanOutdoors it's a dull moorland effort. 😂
@@AScotsmanOutdoors Will do pal....eventually 😁
Cracking video thanks the Corbetts are just as good as the Munro’s to do excellent cheers
I did the western ridge incidentally many years ago some awkward slanting slabs but not too difficult a scramble but did it without a heavy pack the hardest bit was the way we came off the ridge it was mega steep we followed Ralph storers route in his book 100 best routes on Scottish hills anyway that’s mate keep the videos coming
Yeah, from what I've seen it doesn't look too difficult. I remember carrying a camping pack over the Horns of Alligin last year and there was a couple of points the pack hindered me.
Excellent trip, Views were amazing, false summits are my pet hate.
Cheers Phil. 😁 That was the worst one for false summits for a while. 😩
I need to do this camp. Plenty room for a couple of tents on these ones
The Corbett was surprisingly rocky, but it's littered with pitches. Beinn Fhada has loads of pitches being such a broad mountain.
On the lost carbon pole from the scarp1 …if it helps in future, any carbon fibre pole from the net cut to length would have done just keep the taught .
Thanks Drew, hopefully I don't need another carbon pole but you never know. I tighten up the straps after every trip now.
Kev, give us a review of yer tent 👍
The demand is there. 😄
Will do sparky. 👍
Good work boys .
Not sure I enjoyed Kev getting called “ the Bawbag “ though 🤭😂
😂 Haha, not like you to drop in with a comment mate. You don't hear the abuse I get by the way. 🤣
