Mysterious work, meaningful wisdom

Today's biblical text: Ecclesiastes 8:16-9:10
Limited wisdom
No one is able to fully make sense of God’s work under
the sun.
Certain death
Regardless of morality or spirituality, death happens to
all.
Possible joy
God gives many opportunities for meaningful joy under
the sun.
Placing our faith in Jesus will bring lasting joy.
Ecclesiastes claims that even though this earthly life is subjected to frustration and uncertainty, we can find meaningful joy in living under
the sovereign rule of God.
