    We were here recently and our experience with both The Lava Show and the neighbouring The Soup Company were fantastic!
    Once in the room and the lava starts flowing, you can really really feel the heat radiated by the lava!

    Thank you for this video. I’m from Hawaii and that’s awesome to learn about volcanos🌋. In Hawaii you can not keep the rock 🪨.

    Sadly Way too expensive!!! As a family of 5 it was well over £120 for us!!! Assume it was going to last around 30 minutes that kind of cost is crazy even for Iceland!!

    • @AllThingsIceland
      @AllThingsIceland  2 года назад +3

      I hear you about the cost, especially for a big family. From my understanding, this is an incredibly difficult process to pull off because it takes a significant amount of resources to build and operate a machine that can heat rocks up to create flowing lava. That is probably want prevents others from being able to do it. It lasts closer to an hour and they stay around to answer all questions people have. While I do understand everyone has a different budget, which is totally fine, I personally feel like the experience was worth it.

    • @Sindrijo
      @Sindrijo 2 года назад

      @@AllThingsIceland Yeah they have to pump quite a lot of energy into those rocks to melt them, and they are not melting a small amount either. They probably also have to keep the crucible running 24/7 because the time needed to go from solid rocks to lava is probably at least a few hours to be honest.
