  • Space shuttle Discovery moved from the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) to Launch Pad 39A on Jan. 31 - Feb. 1 at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The shuttle made the 3.4-mile journey atop a giant crawler-transporter. Six astronauts are set to launch aboard the shuttle on Feb. 24. The STS-133 mission to the International Space Station is the final scheduled flight for Discovery before it is retired.

if you think that your job is boring...think that it takes 1 day only to take the shuttle to the launch pad, and think that there must be someone to control that everything goes alright
