I, a 78 year old American biker, who started out resurrecting old bikes from the dead in the 1960’s, mainly because we couldn’t just buy something roadworthy, have to admire this young guy’s effort in a time when few around me put forth the effort, other than antique folks.
Awesome! Very good Copy of the 50s Vespa 150 im restoring, i Hope the crank bearings Will hold up since you dont replaced them, when you open these engines the gear selector cross and crank bearings are to be verified and replaced, not to mention gasket and orings or She Will keep losing oil, if you have problem of clutch slipping consider using 80w90 mineral gearbox car oil, vespas clutches slip if you use syntetics in the gears! still very nice work for a cheap check up, i salute you from Italy
@@willitrun4980 Glad of being helpful! You can use spare parts from vespa vb1 if you need them, they are available and compatibile, good luck for your projects!
Unbelievable how good the seat looked after years outside in the sun. Also how complete the scooter was. Congratulations! Great find! I had a Vespa 160 GS that I inherited from my grandfather. Unfortunately I sold it - needed the money. I deeply regret that😢
Great effort my friend!!!! 👏👏👏👏 Yes, a complete restoration is worth it. After all the mechanical parts seem to be in very good working condition !!! 🙂👌
very good video I loved it but it also made me laugh and it reminds me of granny's motorcycle with a flea dog 🤭 it's very similar if anyone remembers it was a cartoon from the 70s
