- It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Annette Adamson-Higgins. On March 6, 2024, a kind, loving, sweet soul was taken away from us. Annette leaves behind her five children, Khadijah, Casatiya, Kadeen, Tahjay, and Aliyah, along with her three grandchildren. Annette was a dedicated mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend.
Annette, also known as “Petal,” was a well-loved and supported RUclipsr. Her channel “Petalisbless” features her budget-friendly, glamorous DIY styles and the bubbly personality she was famous for. For 14 years, Annette courageously fought against an Interstitial Lung Disease called Pulmonary Fibrosis. Although she was ill, Annette always kept a happy and positive attitude. Annette was strong and hopeful. She put her faith in God, and she never let her illness get the best of her. Annette was always smiling and had such a generous nature. She looked out for others in any way she possibly could. Annette LOVED life. She lived her life to the fullest despite the many challenges she encountered. Miss Petal was always dressing up in her bling and bedazzled outfits. She was known for her glamorous style.
Annette was finally placed on the active transplant list and was going through the necessary assessments to receive her double lung transplant. Unfortunately, during the testing, she succumbed to her illness.
To all her followers, we would like to say thank you for the endless love and support that you showed our mother throughout her RUclips journey. RUclips brought joy and even more purpose into her life. She loved connecting with her subscribers and it was her passion to share her DIY’s with all of you. The love and support was mutual. 💖
Whoever put this together, Thank you for including her Subscribers to be able to say goodbye to this precious soul. Petal was the kindest person I have ever met here in RUclips. She was so young 😔 Praying for her family’s strength to get through this very sad time 🙏🏽❤️

GOD has moved cuz I've been crying since I heard the news but the Lord spoke and told me she fulfilled her journey just the way HE likes it. And NOW he whispers to me to follow her example. She is in an elite section because she was obedient to the Lord's will. I hope we all follow her example. ❤️❤️❤️

My heart is broken. When I first got on oxygen I was scared and ashamed. My co-worker led me to this page. I watched as this beautiful woman navigated life in spite of her condition. She is a beautiful soul. I will miss her sweet voice and gentle spirit.
She was the person who started me crafting. I still have the projects I learned from watching her. I just want to say thank you for teaching me how to make beautiful crafts and you will TRULY be missed.

I just lost my twin sister on June 16, 2024 from ILD~Interesial Lung Disease. It's such a horrible disease. I had no idea that Annette passed in March. #IAmSoSad. Rest in Peace Annette. *Rest in Peace Sis* . *#ILoveYouAndMissYou**.*
