Makita wins hands down. Makita is never going to lower their prices, quality, sell out or give anybody any deals period. You can tell that TTI will make sacrifices and cut prices and give massive deals for large box stores like Home Depot ECT.
Yeah, and TTI put plastic parts in their drive. It should be all steel, but nope, powdered metal and plastic in a lot of it. The Makita 40v is a Cadillac. I've gone through a lit of impact wrenches, all the way back to hauling around a compressor, but Milwaukee was good for a while, their new ones have too many cost engineered parts (plastic) and Makita has stayed true to.the product, not manufacturing costs.
makita actually has a lot of massive deals on amazon and some buy two tools get a jigsaw free and even rebates at amazon and HD. every company has to do it to stay competitive. but yeah i get the point high quality tools.
Outperforms it? Milwaukee finished first in the la bolt time and second in lag bolt remaining height. It's the shortest in the group. The other tests were just specs.
The current generation Hercules mid torque is weak. Returned it after a day when it couldn't remove mid sized car lugs. But their High Torque (that I own) and Ultra Torque are pretty decent with a 5a battery or bigger I bought the Dewalt DCF891 for mid torque use and am very happy with it. Wanted something compact with close to High Torque numbers. That one has no problem removing lugs
You do know that the newer DeWalt destroys the Milwaukee, right? Seems like every one of your videos lately seem to follow a similar format, and what happens to real world testing, like Torque test channel and project farm. This seems to be going the way of a cheap ad.
you tested the milwaukee with the forge high output battery but didn't test makita with their 'f' high output battery (BL4050F). Good job on rigging the results.
If theres something I hate is channels misleading info. It has been proven in real test videos that Dewalt’s mid torque takes the 1st place and the second is for Makita and even the HPT is stronger than the Fuel !!!
So the Flex has the most torque, higher RPM, and won the lag bolt test and the Flex is cheaper but the Milwaukee wins?? Come on every test “and the winner is Milwaukee” so much for unbiased reviews!!!
Was thinking same and flex stirred up the game got over 1500 dollars worth and had milwaukee fuel before that both great just like innovations of flex and slightly cheaper
That big bulky thing isn't better than Milwaukee, when you buy into Milwaukee you buy into a product line that makes sense. Like who makes a big bulky mid torque??? Makes no sense... FLEX GUYS always mad they bought into the wrong system, I'm sure it's fast, but at that size and weight no crap it better be...
Makita lost money in North America just saying not that good especially for price and before you say anything America makes up 50% of tool sales worldwide so we set the standard
The only MID TQS I don't have for my RUclips CHANNEL RYOBI, MAKITA, METABO HPT, HILTI the MILWAUKEE M18 fuel GEN 2 MID TQ is nice but the 891 and FLEX SMOKE IT
Odd that you used so many different battery sizes in the video. Ridgid and Milwaukee had a 6Ah battery while it seems like other brands had a 4Ah or 5Ah. Wondering how much that affected your results in the charts. Battery size largely changes the torque output.
Yeah true Hercules line is overall super great value, and that comes from a Milwaukee guy who typically doesn't care. I wanna get the new 3/4 inch Hercules under like $200 compared to I think $350 from Milwaukee haha
The Hercules compact 1/2 mid torque is weak. Used it for a day before returning it. I now own the Dewalt DCF891 and love it I also own the Hercules impact driver and 1/2 High Torque impact wrench. I'm very happy with those

The driver takes care of that. Also helps that I live where cars do not rust
@@emmcee476 yeah I love my Hercules impact drive too! Watching how it stacked up in a lot of reviewers head-to-heads is what got me into Hercules, can’t beat the power to price with that tool!
I do automotive for a living and own the Dewalt DCF891 Mid Torque with the 5a Powerstack battery and love it. Compact and good power. For a high torque, I use a Hercules 1/2 impact, also with 5a battery. I tried their 1/2 compact Mid Torque wrench for a day before returning it (too weak) and getting the Dewalt I use the Dewalt more often these days. Helps a lot that I live where cars do not rust
Declaring a "best" just sounds like an ad for the winner. Instead, plot the models on a cost vs. performance graph, then overlay the "state of the art" curve (curated-curve-fit of the right edge) and subtly shame any unit that's far off of it. Then people can decide for themselves which unit wins based on their budget. Extra points if you give the plotted points badges for comfort, compactness, warranty, etc. That type of video would beat all these overly simplified videos that we see on RUclips.
Yep, they are all good! I use RIDGID and 95% of you should to!!! Why??? Because of the lifetime warranty. Personally I think the ryobi high torque is just awesome. Heaps powerful and same price as Milwaukee lower end impact wrenches. Can't go wrong if you're on a budget!
why would you say milwaukee was the best impact wrench of the 10 when it got outperformed by multiple cheaper alternatives. Every one of your videos just ends with "milwaukee is the best, but these other tools are cool too ig"
They said Milwaukee wins because of the power and how compact it was.. if you want power.. You're okay with something bigger... Buy something else like DeWalt
I have a serious question guys.... And it might be an obvious one for most of you. But i have to ask... So..... Should i buy a combo (Makita) that comes with the XDT16 (impact) and a hammer drill(cant remember model). Comes with 2 batteries, charger , and bagFor like $400 something. Or .... Buy the XDT19 1/4" impact but it xomes with the tool, 2 batteries, charger, and bag. Think they both come with 2 5AmpHour batteries. I know youre thinking, "yeah dumbass get the deal with the lesser of the impacts but you atleast get a hammer drill with the combo!". But part of me knows im gonna use the impact alot more than the hammerdrill so i want the XDT19 because its way newer than the XDT16..... What do you guys think. Am i retarded?
I've had and tried out all these impacts. I promise you the Milwaukee is not the best! In the real and wild world the Dewalt beats the Milwaukee and the makita will too! Just because milwaukee gives you free sh!t and you suck up to them don't mean sh!t. I like Milwaukee don't get me wrong! I have plenty of M12 and M18 tools
