    Agree with what you’re talking about here. The jaw dropper looks amazing sorta similar to what kyoya was using

    It’s dope to watch Matty throw the glidebait on ffs. Not boring at all. Probably more fish catches than before. But RUclips is better. Get to see your favorite anglers.

    Was an avid bass master member back in the day … but I found myself trying to fish their styles in our Calif waters …so I mainly started focusing on the gear ( rods Reels , line ) then switched to RUclips when I got my own boat 😎👍

    Great video Nick. I was wondering if this technique would work on our deeper, clearer reservoirs. Thanks for sharing!!!

    Thanks for the demo Nick, very cool adapting the Ned Bomb for that technique ... as for watching BPT or Elite tourneys where mid-strolling is the main technique being used, my view time has dropped by 70% or more. The recent BPT on Santee Cooper was great since many in the field including the #2 finisher Dean Rojas were working shallow cover (docks n cypress trees) was far more entertaining since most of us can relate to fishing those presentations...

    Great for you to explain mid strolling. Probably not a searching bait tho with ffr makes searching a different sport. It's still fishing. 😊 And maybe more catching.

    I still watch the tournaments to see the techniques but no doubt watching an angler staring at a 16” monitor all day is boring, and they all are doing it.

    Hey Nick, what's your theory on why this doesn't play so much on the west coast? Maybe how deep our highland reservoirs are? Maybe they're in fear of big stripers in open water? So far, I've only found one lake here in the southwest where this works really well...

    As a power fisherman, this fits in the drop shot, ned rig category and is a last resort bait. It’s just soooo slow. Love the info though.

    They'll probably outlaw the forward facing sonar right after I get it. Surely CA. will regulate it somehow.

    • @andrescruz9448
      @andrescruz9448 5 месяцев назад

      Probably, they'll consider it commercial fishing equipment and you'll need to get a permit or pay an additional fee when getting a fishing license.

    Yeah definitely most effective with FFS. Especially the most current systems to get the sensitivity to pick up the lure at a distance. Kind of like spybaiting. Ill need to save up some $$$$ for a good ffs to do stuff like this better.

    Not sure what the difference is between watching these guys livescope or not. All I'm seeing are the backs of these guys and them casting lures back and forth. If I must say, at least when I'm watching someone with livescope, the chances of seeing them catch a fish is greater than not 😅

    Seems like the sport of bass fishing is split into two groups. FFS and no FFS. No shade to FFS guys but this information ain’t for me and I appreciate you making that distinction. Is it really a technique to cast at a target and reel back and twitch towards the fish ?? Maybe I’m confusing technique with skill like skipping under a dock. Or is it just like you said knowing and having the electronics that’s the true “technique”. You guys kick ass and I love the channel. I’m not against people using it, it just ain’t something I want at this time. Cool video
