The best piece I seen you walked right over because you were only looking at the big rocks and not at the little ones between them. If you going to find a gem or Ruby itll most likely be quarter-sized.
Great video. I love the UV torch. Any torch would be a great addition to our camping/prospecting gear.

Love the torchs. Definately an interesting way to prospect. We use something similar up here to glow up our glow discs for disc golf. Never would of thought to use em for prospecting. Excited for the gem hunting video at a future date. Probably gonna score a sucker or two from ya come payday. I need one of them smaller sized ones for sure. Anyways, great channel mate. I could definitely use the Warrior X Pro flashlight in some of the Gold mines I investgate. I have the H2r Nova headlamp for night beach detecting and it is awesome 👍

Great work mate, always pushing the envelope. Just ordered one of those UV keychain torches. (Just note that animal urine shows up brightly under UV light, so i won't be picking up those brightly glowing gum leaves!)
Rubies are pink and some diamonds come up blue.under the uv light. Great video and you did find some gold. The flashlight would be very handy for anyone who spends time in the bush. Thanks.
That UV torch is a great idea, i will have a look into them more.
That Warrior X Pro is a beast mate! Would make a good addition to keep in the ute.

Truly enjoyed the adventure, it’s good just to see a couple pieces , satisfy s the ole gold fever 🥵...
Might want to do a preliminary testing with the black light at home with different minerals to see how they react . it would be interesting to see whats going on . black light really reacts to organics ,but interesting concept on the use of it for prospecting.
Choice vid again Sean. Stoked that you’ve teamed up with olight. They make a mad detachable headlamp I saw on Dan Hurds channel about 12months ago. I’m keen to get my hands on a new torch.

We use a UV torch down at my brothers in Texas the scorpions look amazing in blacklight and stick out like a sore thumb.
And at first I thought I made the wrong mushrooms at dinner🤪. Phuu😳, it was just Shaun's video. I feel reassured😊

The UV keychain light is cool. I just ordered 2 because of your video. Those will come in handy in the western United States. I definitely deserve to win the torch you are giving away because I need to see stuff in the dark. Great channel and great videos....!! Keep up the good work....!!!

here in Michigan we have Yooper rocks that glow with a UV light found up on the shore of Lake Superior
try the uv light on the opal that would work great
Is a uv light the same as a black light
I agree with with flour gold wizards yooperlite. We have them all around upper Michigan in the states.
Do you thing maybe those red glow rocks are retaining the heat better then the rest of the ground around them? I like both those two you had, but I don't live in Australia. Thanks for sharing your video.
The warrior x pro would be super handy for when I'm packing up my highbanker after a long day prospecting with my miss yelling at me, my favourite model if l find enough shiny would be javelot pro just to blind those bunnies.

Whatever became of the rocks you collected while using the blacklist? Were they gold?
I've got a UV torch that I use to check car Air Conditioning for leaks, I'll have to try it on some rocks up the river. I would love one of those XP Warrior torches, amazing.

Hi there Scottish girl outdoors, I've been a friend of Greig ( MeMiner) for a few years . He does have an awesome channel and there are a few videos of rocks that glow under U.V. that he has uploaded . I love Sean's channel as well , he has a great personality and he sure knows his way around a river .

He's a wonderful family man and fellow and he sure knows his minerals as well as where to find them .

The warrior x pro is definitely a must for camping 🏕 and a security torch as that light is so bright you definitely will blind your intruder for sure..!
The ultraviolet light will definitely be great when I plan to go Opal Noodling..

Well sometimes the gold runs out in a spot you've worked for a while Sean ,and you just have to find where it's dropping out again , you get that . You'll find it , and then you'll be going off again on the money , good luck . Yeah most minerals will show up under UV light , calcite , sphalerite , etc , but the ones with phosphorescence will still glow after the light is off them . A Great torch for checking in old mines , iv'e got one similar too that my brother in law used to import them , cheers mate , say hi to the old coot for me .lol .

Could really use the warrior tactical during the upcoming pandemic to scare off the zombies. Love UV rocks. You should get a short wave light too as different rocks respond to that but not the long wave flashlight you have. Good hunting mate

Thanks for the video's for our education and entertainment. Hope you play with UV Flashlight some more. I believe that would be a fun one to have. The flashlight would be a great addition to the kit for when just can't leave the river and the sun goes down.

Just came across this video and your channel, 4 years later did you find out what those glowing stones were mate? I recently bough a uv torch for that reason and some gold panning gear so i can do day and night searches. I live in australia as well and i know we have a lot of gold and minerals so its only a matter of time before i stumble on to something

try looking into Benitoite, its in San Bernardino county in california usa. use a black light, drink lots of coffee, hint, hint. and enjoy the info.
Mangoan Calcite glows pink but then so does Ruby, Sodalite and Lazurlite. Manganese is the Mangoan aspect of Mangoan Calcite

Encourage the kids to get out more, they love UV rocks and lights would be great to get them out of a night looking for rocks. the two units you are using in the video or cool. olight perun would be handy though to clip on a jacket while detecting

I’d like that flashlight for sure. But might be too expensive to send all the way here. I’ve been to Australia 3 times. Sydney Melbourne Bateau Bay. Plus other smaller towns and cities.

Great video as always mate, I asked you the other day how you found the minelab pan... I just bought the pro gold kit. I know exactly what you mean. I love the pan though and I think it wont take much to get well used to it. And the gold really sticks out like a dogs bollocks lol.

I would love to have it. I’m looking for a good light. I just recently got permission to work a old gold mine and need a good light. The wife has been fighting Brest cancer for the last few years and the doctor bills make it hard to purchase anything that is worth getting. Great video
