- Patriarch Kirill, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, delivered a sermon to mark Orthodox Epiphany on Thursday in Moscow, saying that "any desire to destroy Russia will mean the end of the world."
"We pray to the Lord that he bring the madmen to reason and help them understand..." he said in a Moscow cathedral.
His remarks come after former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, an ally of President Vladimir Putin, warned NATO on Thursday that the defeat of Russia in Ukraine could trigger a nuclear war.

Иисус тоже умер, когда распяли на кресте, но это ведь не означает, что смерть одолела Его? Нет конечно, потому, что Христос воскрес и этим победил смерть. Врата ада это смерть, а ад - обитель мертвых. Так что слова *«Я создам Церковь Мою, и врата ада не одолеют её»* как раз свидетельствуют о том, что Церковь должна была умереть, попасть в ад и затем воскреснуть как Христос. Ведь победить смерть (вырваться из ворот ада, которые держать умерших) можно лишь умерев и воскреснув и никак не иначе.
Как раз смерть и воскресение Церкви раскрывает великую тайну Христа и Церкви, о котором говорит апостол Павел, когда проводит интересную параллель между отношениями мужа с женой и Христа с Церковью. *"Посему оставит человек отца своего и мать и прилепится к жене своей, и будут двое одна плоть. Тайна сия велика; я говорю по отношению ко Христу и к Церкви"* (Еф 5:31-32).
Истинная сущность целостности Христа и Церкви заключается в том, что Иисус и Церковь должны были прожить одинаковой жизнью, как муж и жена по принципу «двое одна плоть». И если распяли Христа, то распяли позднее и Его Церковь. Другого и нельзя было ожидать. Мир не мог быть жестоким по отношению к Христу и доброжелательным к Церкви, так как был бы нарушен принцип целостности *«двое одна плоть».* Но самое важное и радостное то, что Церковь едина с Христом как в гонениях, страданиях и смерти, так и в воскресении. Как Иисуса распяли и на третий день воскрес, так случится и с Церковью. *«Тайна сия велика…»* раскрывается в истинном понимании принципа *«двое одна плоть»,* и это значит, что Церковь как Христос должна была пройти путь от Голгофы к Воскресению.

Что мы можем знать о Церкви Христа? Какой Она была? О Церкви Христа мы знаем только то, что известно из книг Нового Завета. Мы не знаем никакой другой Церкви Христа вне Нового Завета. Какая же была Церковь Христа в книгах Нового Завета? Она была строго иерархической организацией, состоящая из верующих крещенные Святым Духом, где проявлялись дары Святого Духа.
Как написано: *"И вы - тело Христово, а порознь - члены. И иных Бог поставил в Церкви, во-первых, Апостолами, во-вторых, пророками, в-третьих, учителями; далее, иным дал силы чудодейственные, также дары исцелений, вспоможения, управления, разные языки"* (1Кор 12:27-28).
Вот такая была Церковь Христа в первом веке, но на протяжении 2000 лет мы уже не видим такую Церковь Христа, нет ни Апостолов, ни пророков, никто не обладает силами чудодейственными и дарами исцелений. Но видим собрания людей, во главе которых стоят только учителя выступающих от имени Христа, но не имеющие дары Святого Духа.
Иисус сказал: *"Уверовавших же будут сопровождать сии знамения: именем Моим будут изгонять бесов; будут говорить новыми языками; будут брать змей; и если что смертоносное выпьют, не повредит им; возложат руки на больных, и они будут здоровы»* (Мк. 16:17-18).
И там же написано: *"И так Господь, после беседования с ними, вознесся на небо и воссел одесную Бога. А они пошли и проповедовали везде, при Господнем содействии и подкреплении слова последующими знамениями"* (Мк. 16:19-20)
Хочу обратить Ваше внимание на эти слова "подкреплении слова последующими знамениями" то есть чудеса подкрепляют слово Божье и для благовествования учения Иисуса они важны.
На протяжении 2000 лет включая наше время мы не видим никаких уверовавших, которых сопровождали или сопровождают сии знамения. Но в книгах Нового Завета читаем, что в первом веке верующие совершали немало чудес.
Как написано: *«А Стефан, исполненный веры и силы, совершал великие чудеса и знамения в народе»* (Деян. 6:8).
*"Так Филипп пришёл в город Самарийский и проповедовал им Христа. Народ единодушно внимал тому, что говорил Филипп, слыша и видя, какие он творил чудеса. Ибо нечистые духи из многих, одержимых ими, выходили с великим воплем, а многие расслабленные и хромые исцелялись. И была радость великая в том городе"* (Деян. 8:5-8).
*«Тогда умолкло всё собрание и слушало Варнаву и Павла, рассказывавших, какие знамения и чудеса сотворил Бог через них среди язычников»* (Деян. 15:12).
Где в наше время Стефаны, Варнавы, Павлы? Где Филиппы, которые приносят великие радости городам?
В какой Церкви слепые обретают зрение? Где хромые и прикованные к постели прыгают от радости что исцелились? Где изгоняют бесов? Где воскрешают мертвых? Где Пророки? Где возлагают руки на больных и освобождаются от болезней? Ни в какой Церкви, нигде в мире не совершаются такие чудеса.
Иисус говорил: *"Истинно, истинно говорю вам: верующий в Меня, дела, которые творю Я, и он сотворит, и больше сих сотворит, потому что Я к Отцу Моему иду"* (Иоан 14:12).
Но где сейчас эти верующие, творящие дела Иисуса и даже больше чем сам Иисус творил?
Церковь Христа уничтожили в первом веке и на протяжении 2000 лет появляются ложные церкви, которые претендуют на место Церкви Христа но не имеющие свидетельства Бога то есть чудеса. Бог именно чудесами свидетельствовал о Церкви Христа так же, как свидетельствовал о Иисусе.
Как написано: *"Мужи Израильские! выслушайте слова сии: Иисуса Назорея, Мужа, засвидетельствованного вам от Бога силами и чудесами и знамениями, которые Бог сотворил через Него среди вас"* (Деян 2:22).
Бог свидетельствовал о Иисусе, а потом о Церкви Христа чудесами. Но Церковь Христа уничтожили так же, как в свое время убили Христа, и следовательно прекратились знамения и чудеса сопутствовавшие Церковь, и вот Она захоронена 2000 лет, но воскреснет в последние дни как воскрес Иисус.
Пророчество о смерти и воскресении Церкви присутствует в притче о десяти девах (Мф 25:1-13). О появлении Церкви также пророчествует Откровение: *"И явилось на небе великое знамение: жена, облеченная в солнце; под ногами её луна, и на главе её венец из двенадцати звезд"* (Откр. 12:1).
Появление Церкви как раз будет великим знаком скорого Пришествия Христа.
