I'm living in Manila and I do really miss each and every one of you as missionaries! Y'all are part of my childhood memories. When I was at a young age playing around the street, I'd always feel excited once I saw you walking by because I knew for a fact that the elders and sisters like you would knock on our door. My mother would prepare foods and ask me to buy some stuff because she knew how tiresome to be a missionary, yet enjoyable. Can you imagine? Walking for hours and visiting different homes just to share the word of God? That's why I do really have a huge love and respect for you all elders. You're so passionate and committed to your beliefs. I've always wished to meet you all again and have some fun. I was crying all day when I figured out that you only have 2 years to serve as far as I remember. Now, I'm 18 years old, still don't know how I could define the word "existence". I hope I could have the chance to meet you again and my mother would surely prepare Filipino foods! I also would like to say that I've always been amazed about the beauty of the Philippines. The diverse culture, amazing nature or sceneries, and of course the moral values of Filipino people. Filipinos are known for being hospitable, friendly, down-to-earth, generous, and so on and so forth. If I would be born again after life, nothing I could've ever wished for but to be a Filipino again. One day, Philippines would be one of the first world countries. Gusto kitang ipagdamot Pilipinas, pero deserve mong marecognize o makilala ng buong mundo. An endless and countless thank you to each of you sisters! 🖤
Hey I’m about to leave on my mission to Sweden but if you want to see the missionaries agin you can go to any church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints building on a Sunday
While studying the pmg I have thought of searching a video of Philippines Laoag Mission then I saw your video sister now I am very excited to finally serve in about 41 days I'll be serving also in Philippines Laoag Mission! 💜💜💜
Aw!! That's wonderful and SO exciting. They are truly a choice people up there!! If you ever service in Vigan, Paoay, or Gonzaga you'll have to send my love to the people and member out there!!
I know this video is from last year but im currently watching it right now .. awwe makes me wanna cry i dont know why HAHAHA and hiii im from the philippines you guys are so maganda and i hope you guys had a great time staying here
Same bro, SAME! 😭😭😭 I've been binge watching videos about the missionaries based here in the Philippines. When my friends and I were playing Filipino games on the street, we surprisingly saw the missionaries walking by and we didn't bother to come over to them instantly. I've missed them a lot, and I hope after this pandemic, I could have the privilege to meet them again. I'm 18 years old now, and I feel like I couldn't fulfill my life without showing the gratitude and appreciation in front of them personally 😭
Being a missionary is a great responsibility! The missionary must have great energy, fortitude and courage. Wherever the missionary goes, in whatever part of the world he is in, he must spread the Word. The local people must understand what the missionary is saying to them. The missionary must get the Word right to the people! Therefore, every missionary must know the language of the local people! To everyone who is going on a mission or preparing for one I would like to recommend a very good workshop by Yuriy Ivantsiv Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign language. This excellent book will give you answers how to correctly learn a foreign language with a minimum of your time and effort. This book answers many of the questions that everyone faces when learning a language. Good luck with your important work!

balikbayan asap and keep your promises. out of 10s of thousands of elders and sisters who served missions in the PI very few keep their promises to return for those who they saved. you promised to balikbayan and check up on them. do it asap and be free for the rest of your life. talaga.
1980 cebu city mission myself. 4 decades later and i still am reaping what i have sown. please please keep your promises to return unlike the other 99% that do not. they trust you not to forget.
