  • This is one from the good old days. We filmed it about 20 years ago now. And originally released it as a DVD which we sold thousands of copies of. It's over 3 hours of hardcore varmint hunting, when the varmint hunting was good! It took us over a year to make and has coyote, rock chuck, jackrabbit and prairie dog hunts. In Utah, Wyoming, Idaho and Nevada, all "self guided" on public land. Just a couple knuckleheads looking for varmints to hunt and having a lot of fun with our rifles.

    Love the old coyote videos. Still rotate through old verminator, Mark Zepps, and Kerry Carvers dvds.

      No doubt. The old ELK ones are great too. I still talk to Kerry Carver pretty often.

      Larry, it's marketed as a squirrel call. The one I have doesn't have a name on it and I can't remember where I bought it. But I just looked and Hunter's Specialties makes one just about like it for $14 and I'm sure there are plenty of others out there. It works pretty dang good!

    The coyote hunting I can understand but to shoot the rabbits and waste the meat is just a shame !

      I honestly had no idea that people felt that way about jackrabbits before publishing these videos. We grew up jumpshooting jacks with .22 rifles. By "we", I mean like practically everyone I knew growing up. Nobody, I have ever personally known to this day, considers them edible. But, I have received quite a few comments on my videos saying that they ARE edible. I'll continue to not eat them, myself. They carry just too many diseases transferable to humans and they just don't smell edible. But, anyone that does eat them, more power to y'all. They are plentiful that is for sure. Can't bring myself to eat one though.

      That, they do. Coyotes are just being coyotes.

    It's a shame to kill for fun, should be illegal. Coyotes I understand if you have a farm. But the others..... You should be ashamed of yourself.

    Please relate the information about your rifles: Brand, caliber, barrel length, trigger if it has been changed or modified, the load if you roll your own.

    • @DaveAffleck
      @DaveAffleck  11 месяцев назад

      @donkeziah2564, we used quite a few different rifles in this one. If you can tell me which part, or hunt, I can give you all the details of the rifle and loads.
