Thanks, It was really very simple until I about wrecked my arm trying to pull DOWN the release tab when I should have pushed UP... My bad. Live and learn. 😂 I'm just glad I reviewed the video before I did more damage.
I just did one... didnt need to take the grill off.. just the 2 10mm bolts n the latch from the fender well n it came right out... n the bulb was a 9012 on a 2013 dodge ram laramie

@subtledemisefox take the black cover off the top and then find the 2 10mm bolts from the video... one should be straight uo n down and the other should be into the frame... you dont have to remove the 8mm bolts. It should come straight out...
All this... for a headlight bulb. You know, in my Toyota truck and my car, you just twist the connector behind the light and replace the bulb. This is such a tragic example of shoddy American predatory car manufacture.
Toyota owners can’t say crap on the newer stuff you need a special tool just to get to oil filter so this ain’t that bad just uses standard tools nothing special

i purchased the h11 bulb and when i went to install it did not click into the hiusing properly. I went to advanced auto and they said I needed a 9005 bulb ans that one fit in the housing correctly

an h11 bulb does not fit a 2016 dodge ram. you need a 9005 bulb. falso info
