This song always is so bittersweet for me. The leitmotif being the introduction as well as the end of what I didn't know was going to be the end of a beloved game series as a kid (and adult still!) This is such an amazing rendition of this song, it brought forth a whole wellspring of emotion.

I love the original a lot due to the sound of the synths and how well it seemed the fit the aesthetic of Area Zero but this cover blows that and the other versions,physis,mythos or otherwise,out of the water for me. The beginning was really nostalgic since it reminded me a lot of the ending which holds a special place for me since it was my 1st time completing a mega man game and with Zero being my favorite character,it hit hard as a kid. The rest of the cover is stellar as well since I think the synths blend amazingly with the guitar and drums. Needless to say,I'll probably have a hard time going back to the other versions with how much boxes this ticks for me.
