Zero seals himself sometime after CM as he is producing the Maverick Virus readily. Originally the series ended after X5 with Zero's death, and then X6 was made, which showed Zero getting sealed away for study. Scientists, one being Ciel's relative, used the virus in Zero to make the Mother Elf and the other Cyber Elves. Thus is how Zero got sealed. @dixtremo Actually the maverick wars just turned into the cyber elf wars with the creation of the cyber elves and X looks like that cause he's a cyber elf his body which gets destroyed in MMZ2 looks pretty similar tho the original. So it doesn't completely destroy everything form the X series.
Then when Elpis/Elpizo destroyed X's body, it released the seal keeping the Mother Elf/Dark Elf in, thus releasing it, and causing the riffs in the real and cyber world.
@234Spotman I didn't say it didn't. The X games also have great music. but there is another reason... if u read or played or watched the megaman x series zero sealed himself and well people needed help and something like that so they tried hitting him or something i dont know. now for x he sealed him self somewhere where ciel was alive or something and it was to prevent dark elf [seen in ending of megaman zero 2] but thanks to elpizo the dumbass who died by zero x cant turn back to normal.
