I think snibeLL might be a masochist, but honestly he played really well and lasted way longer than I thought he would
he played only what hera would let him to play. Hera played like a tourney, so he waited for a correct timing and then he just finished him in a minute

Honestly he played incredible you can tell he fine tuned a specific strat to play against you, he already can beat 90% of all players. wouldn’t be surprised if he hits the 2k range in the near future.
He can definitely get there, but seems like he couldnt handle his economy properly and went all in archers. Kinda overcomitted when he saw skirms and didnt adjust

Maybe not near future since he's top 3000th and 2k is top 500, maybe in 2 years or so if he grinds like a mad man.
I found he played incredible for a 1500 player though. Definitely top 90% AOE 2 material.

I feel like this game is an excellent case study. It might be an interesting one to look at in capture age to compare resources and all the small details. Be able to see the difference between a good AOE2 player and a pro.

Thanks for this vid Hera! i just tried to write this into a detailed build order and train this for Arabia myself - it took me 1,5h to your first two military units xD
Probably this video was one of the best trainings Hera could offer us for free. Some details on economy efficiency, timing, upgrades and his micro to buy time when his opponent has already in the Castle Age before him. When something like that happened, I was immediately retreating back to my base to not lose my Skirmishes unnecessarily. Then I had to deal with crossbows in my base and lose the game. I really wonder what would have happened if his opponent added some knight too with another civ.
Great video, it was good to see the huge difference in levels between a pro and regular player.

Sometimes amateurs challenged me, back than you wouldn't even hit castle, but annihilate them in Feudal :D
Hera played tourneymode so very safe. If he would get him on the ladder he would probably kill him in 12 min

snibell played really solid and his biggest mistake was probably pushing his archers into a counter unit.

Up until the 20 minute mark, the game was surprisingly even, I guess the biggest advantage hera had is he chose a counter while snibell kept going archers but should have switched to something else

You did just that with this build. The 12 on wood at 6:10 is the rebalancing harder part. 11 is more normal.
But you took your boar early. That gives you less wood. So now 12 on wood is necessary.
I'm a solid 1900 elo xbox player and it's a completely different universe watching non upgraded skirms controll a mass of Crossbows like its nothing.
