- "How do you make a gold bar?"... is usually one of the first questions many people ask me when they find out what my job is. Pouring Lithic gold bars can be challenging at times. There's a lot of forethought and prep work done before you get to do the fun stuff. There's a bit of stress involved as well, one mistake can be very expensive or worse yet, you might ruin a beautiful piece you put your heart and soul into. Yet, when it's all said and done, and it's time to present a collector with their beautiful new bars... every bit of the struggle is made worth it. My hope is that every collector finds as much joy in each piece as I do.
If you enjoy or want to know more about precious metals, gold, silver, along with science / chemistry, and the art of pouring molten metals.... Follow me here on YT! And, you'll find LithicMetals over on IG and TT too, hunt me down over there as well.

"pool" is the word you were looking for...
As in "this pool of molten gold" 😉
Awesome videos
New subscriber here. You poured these beauties on my 49th birthday! I just started stacking gold and silver a bit over a year ago. I really enjoy your channel. I really want to start up a silver cell as soon as I can get the materials lined up. I'm on a very fixed budget so it's a bit of a process. I appreciate your videos as they have been very informative as well as entertaining. Thanks! Keep em coming!!
Thanks for the sub, James! I'm glad you enjoy the vids. The Ag cell is fun, but there is quite a bit of work involved to do it safely. I'd recommend spending the money of silver or gold rather than building a cell, unless you plan to run it a lot. 🙂
@@LithicMetals Thank you kindly for the good advice. I'm a firm believer in safety first. The PPE is never out of reach in my work spaces. I think I will take your advice and wait until I have an adequate stock of junk sterling and smooth underweight constitutional silver before I build a cell. No point in having it sit idle, you are right!
Hello. Arne from 🇳🇴Norway here. So stunning great goldbars🌹. Thank you, and a happy new years🎉
Happy New Year Arne! Thanks for watching!! 😁

Lol. Thanks for watching!!
Heck yeah I enjoyed it! Thanks for sharing Jeff!!
"forbidden egg yolk" lmao.
This looks like a lot of fun to do and to learn how to do.
Lol I thought it was pretty funny too.
Yeah, it's definitely the best job I've had thus far 😁
The bowl you use has a sheen. I assume it's just because it's so smooth?
That sheen is from the borax I use to coat it. That stops the metals from sticking to the dish. 😁
Nice!
💛
Great channel. Glad I found it. Real pro , I hope the business grows , perfectionist. I'm tempted to send a couple oz to have melted into a lithic bar for here in Canada. Love the work .
Question if you don’t mind answering where do you get your shot from gold and silver please if it’s the same place thank you
Watching people pour metals is so cool. First time seeing someone pour gold bars though. Beautiful.
I'm glad you enjoyed it Bigglesworth! Thanks for watching!! 😁
*Lithic Metals* Bravo well done, thank-you sir for taking the time to show us. GOD Bless.
I glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching! 🙂
Nothing shy of STUNNING, Jeff!!😮
Neat. How do the pour lines come about? just from cooling as you pour?
Yes, plus I usually manipulate the mold as it cools as well. There's a bit of technique to it.
Right on, man! Great to see a cat who gets so much satisfaction in his work! All my best regards, Jeff!
Appreciate it! 😁
Love Chemistry
I still get the same excitement watching these videos as I did when I first found your channel.
Happy new year Jeff I hope all is good and I wish you the best of luck 🎉
Happy New Year to you Marlon! I'm glad my work still speaks to you, very good to hear. 💛
That was fun Jeff. Beautiful! Thank you!
Thank you! I appreciate you watching!! 💛
How do you get the gold shot so tiny and uniform, Jeff?
If I need fine grain, I can pour the shot through a stainless steel screen into water. 🙂
Jeff: take another ounze of gold...
Me, married middle aged man with 3 kids and a dog living in a village in the miidle of Europe: Yeah sure... 😀
BTW: there is so much skill... high skill always looks easy...
Lol I'm married, two kids, two cats, in the village of Waterford, in rural Wisconsin. We practically live the same lives 😁
@@LithicMetals And we love gold... 😀
Lithic, how did you start pouring? I collect 10 g bars at a time and when I hit a hundred grams I would love to melt the tens into one single.
How? Idk... I just did it. My focus was on the refining, pouring was just the last step. Melting your 10s into a 100g would be awesome! But there will be a learning curve. 🙂
A true work of art. Beautiful bars
Thank you. ✨️💛✨️
Unreal, you rock Jeff
Thanks Grz, I appreciate it! And, thanks for watching!! 😁
How much would it cost me per 1oz bar
Absolutely glorious as usual sir.
Great to hear, thanks! 😁
Great work looks like money lol
Thanks Robert, I appreciate you watching! 😁
Goop?
How much over spot is one of your bars?
The 1oz pour is $89.59 plus shipping, and of course, the gold. 🙂
@@LithicMetals that’s a great price for what you do! I will reach out soon. I definitely want a pour from you
❤❤❤
💛... 😁
As always they're some lovely looking bars poured from the master.
Where do you get your gold from
Hey Pete! Much of the gold I pour is material I refine, but I aquire it from a variety of sources. 🙂
How can i get somme gold alloy for melting please ?
I'm not sure what you are asking 🤔
@@LithicMetals I mean little gold nuggets in bottle
Where can I buy???
Shoot me an email at lithicmetals@gmail.com anytime 🙂
🤤
How do I get into this
Like any goal worth achieving, you just have to make it happen!
@@LithicMetals where would I get the proper training to do what your doing
Beautiful! Nothing like the look and feel of gold. It’s a sickness. Awesome job as usual.
Hey Bro, I actually just found you about a week ago. I really love your content and the way you inform while you work. Fantastic! I just have one question. Where are you getting the certificates of authenticity?
Hey Tim! Thanks for joining me here. I design the COAs and print them off as I need them.
Very sexual sounding commentary 🤣
Beautiful work... high five
😅
