Deion Sanders holds first press conference as Colorado joins Big 12 Conference

- The Colorado Buffaloes' move to the Big 12 Conference takes its next step as the the conference holds its 2024 Football Media Days on Wednesday.
The 2024 football season is Colorado's second under head coach Deion "Coach Prime" Sanders and the first in the program's return to the Big 12 Conference.
The Big 12 Conference football media event is being held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders and safety Shilo Sanders are also attending Wednesday's media gathering.

He should able to flip to win loss from 4-8 to 8-4 this year. They did a really good job of bringing in talent in the trenches.
I never thought about folks being disrespectful by calling him Deion until I started reading the comments… the way I looked at it was like you love and enjoy how he goes about things and most folks have followed him and adored him their whole lives to the point where they actually think they know the man personally… so I thought it was more of simply being too comfortable more than disrespectful… but I get it

I can't stand the disrespect these reporters have for Coach Prime by calling him Deion. It's subtle slaps in the face like this that he has to deal with. He won't call them out but I know he notices. Even you who comments give his respect l. Don't think they don't know what they're doing.

I can tell some of the media does not like coach and the way he answers questions does not give the media something to build a fictitious story off of so they’re not able to make money for their programs off of him. It’s not exciting it’s not what everybody wants to hear, but he speaking the truth, they want somebody’s gonna come up there, brag boast, and a whole Lotta other stuff that is unnecessary.

I love the guy as a ASU fan even when Shedeur was a complete ass to the student section after scoring the big touchdown in Tempe that won Colorado the game. He is real if brutual. Such a unique, exciting coach and player that does not care how much you hate on him. I wish them well this season to shove it in the face of his many detractors who the Buffs and predict the Buffs at the bottom like Arizona State. Both schools will defy the expections with better talent and coaching. Speaking as an old, White Boomer part of the negativity is really just racism disguised.
