Literally the most useful video out of all the ones I seen. Thanks for linking the adapter piece, literally no other video I’ve seen had this part included in the description. Got a like from me my boy.
Thank you exactly what I needed to know/see. Great Video
Amazing!
I just thought about doing this and wondered if anyone else had tried it. Glad I watched all the way until 5:30 otherwise I would've purchased an unnecessary adapter. Turns out I already have everything I need, and it was just a matter of putting all the pieces together the right way.
Awesome, if you like the in-the-middle-of-an-earthquake look.
Hahah. It’s funny because it’s true.
Took the risk and this worked GREAT!! Thanks so much
Bro you're actually a real g for this video lmao. my fricking guy.
its helpful. thanks a lot mate. Im about to upgrade my setup
This was literally exactly what I needed!
Ball head, great video. I wondered if you were gonna build this after you mentioned it in the other video.
You have so high quality videos and yet not so many followers, why? There are much less quality channels and they are gaining followers so quick, i just dont get it!
Wish you good luck in becoming more popular and cool youtuber!!!
That arm doesn't look like it's designed for heavy things. Rather get the Samson MBA48.
Thanks for the video. Looks like it shakes every time you bump the table.
Yeah, that’s the only flaw. I blame it more on the table. The table is just so wiggly. Sturdier tables and it improves dramatically
I think they are called Hot Shoe. But not sure. Thanks for the vid.
I can believe it held that much weight
I know right!!
Thank you so much for this!
Great video! Thank you for the info
Thank you so much for sharing this info! This will safe me a ton of money instead of buying a C-stand which is overkill for what I need it to do. Do you feel like the stand would easily handle overhead (flat lay) shots?
Honestly, no.
For a couple of reasons.
Depends on how heavy your camera is if it will stay still and secure, especially since it’s facing down. If it was with a phone, maybe. 2nd, it connected to a table, so if it’s video, every time you bang on the table the setup will shake.
Again, this is if you are using this as a flat lay.
@@LoKnows Thank you for your answer! I have a canon m50, so about 388g (13,8 ounces) so pretty light, about double the weight of the average smartphone. I think I will take the risk, because sadly I don't really see another option haha. The thing with the table is definitely something to think about though, since if I'm doing anything on the table that would create shake that's a problem of course. I'll consider my options a bit more maybe.
That's one strong mic stand 😂
😂
ordered one, hopefully it works with my a6600 and sigma 16mm
How did it work out? I'm looking into similar setup with mounting on arm and using same lense as you. But I'm going to be using a Sony ZV-E10(364 grams) instead of A6600 with the Sigma 16mm F1.4.
And I've been thinking about getting a "Elgato Wave Mic Arm" (not the low profile one tho).
Also been thinkinh about replacing my Rode PSA1 arm with a low profile Elgato LP mic arm for my EV RE-20 microphone.
@@Donshido I actually ended up getting the Elgato mounts haha
@@akshayfr5761 Haha, oh yeah? Elgato Mounts? Which ones? Would you be able to send me a link?
@@Donshido the L series mounts
Just bought one of those tonar boom arm I’m using a Sony A7R w/sigma 24mm lens hopefully it won’t be to heavy. Other wise i might get the Rode boom arm
Did it work for you or was it too heavy? I also want to use a FF camera with the sigma 24mm
hi bro can i use video from camera and audio from protools later combine to render?
Yup!
wobbly af but worked :D
Yeah, I've been using this method and it wobbles like crazy. I'm trying to find a solution! Someone please help!
@@CreativeIsolation maybe you tighten it more so it doesn’t wobble
@@BiggieDark my mic arm doesn’t have tighteners, it’s quite rigid and holds in position without additional tightening. Not sure that would help anyway, the shaking translates through the whole arm.
Does this work with the Vixia HF R700?
What boom arm is it?
camea shakes alot on that desk
his setup tho?
