That river is a rare gem. Happy to say I hooked up my first brown on my fishing trip last week. I was only able to get the one so I still have some fine tuning to do. Fly fishing is definitely a learning curve but I can stand out in the river and If I get skunked it’s still not a wasted day. Another great Video Dan.

Yes indeed! Yup! I use a double surgeons knot to tie on my tippet to the tapered leader - strong knot! I use an improved clinch knot to the fly

what flies do you find work really well for rainbows?
all should be fine midge/stonefly/nymph/wormy and any kind of dry fly if you think they would come up
Just curious to know if this is in Oregon. I live in Georgia now so no chance I'll fish the stream in this video ever but when I lived in Oregon I heard about a series of spring creeks that I was never able to locate so it just made me curious.
