What a finish!
Man JT looked awesome in this, you can see the impact Atos has had on his game
I loved that he jumped closed guard. Torres in a dominant dude.
what a finish, been practicin the same tech to take the back, BOA~!
Nice jt. Positional dominance. And great takedowns
JT is the man
Even tough galvao's influence is undeniable , JT is developing his own style, nice deep de la riva hook transitions.
I love his determination to get a position, real aggressive BJJ.
JT looks solid!
This and 50/50 heelhooks
anyway jt you looked amazing man, atos has did a lot for you love the improvement man
Olimpic or not. I love it.
JTs lookin Jedi Sharp
It's not surprising to me that so many people are down voting your comment. People want to prove their love for Jiu Jitsu so badly, that they can't be critical. You watch, one day they'll make guard pulling illegal, or allow heel hooks to deal with the double guard pull, ten minute pant leg tug of war contests to win by advantages and suddenly everyone will be on board with it. They may allow slams, and then suddenly everyone will be for it. Everyone is just trying to fit in.
5:32 yolo
agreed! anyone on the street would slam someone if they did that!
what is that guard he always pulls is it de la riva?
He's using whats known as an X-guard here at 0:22
clinic!!!!
They need to change the rules regarding slams. The idea of pulling closed guard on someone while they're standing like that and hanging from them is so contradictory to the spirit of self defense that it's insane. Slams are bad, but eliminating the obvious defense to that (stupid) line of attack is unrealistic. I think in any match purple or higher slams should be allowed.
he can thank lloyd irvin training for those....
those single legs.....
BJJ is not even close to becoming a Olympic sport it's just too small..
teacherspetme lol
Wrestlers, and Judokas dump each other on their heads all the time, and they're Olympic sports. Wrestling almost got cut for being boring to untrained spectators. Do you really think this guard pull, no slams, 50/50 guard shit is entertaining to unintelligent spectators? The CURRENT rules will stop this from being an Olympic sport, not slams. At the end of the day BJJ is a COMBAT sport, and people want to see a fight. Not dudes trying to win by advantages. You're just trying to fit in.
