I’m about to turn 40, and am stronger and more mobile than I’ve ever been by training Olympic weightlifting and related accessory stuff. I literally think Olympic lifting, when trained properly, is a kind of fountain of youth.
I’m 33 and am only about 6 months into weightlifting. I have had to battle with really silly logic in that I often compare myself to professional athletes. Most of them that are my age are at the tail end of their careers and maybe not as fast and strong as when they were in their 20s. Sometimes I think I only have about three or four years of weightlifting left because that’s when some players would retire. However, I’m brand new and that logic makes no sense.

31yo in that exact position. Learning that getting into 30s is not a decay, but my peak. Aiming towards olympic lifting ❤
Great to hear Leandro, best of luck with your training.

I started last year at 38. It's been the best thing that happened to me in a long time.
Thankyou
Glad you enjoyed Christopher.
I've always found both strong man and Olympic weightlifting to be the coolest in general. I'm pretty sure even a chimp would think an OHP is cool
if only we could clone you guys so that we all had access to your skillz and talents
