With every form of Superman media made, its always odd how he’s never charged for the insane amount of property damage that gets caused by flinging people through buildings, tossing vehicles at people, and just destruction in general. Its funny how Superman somehow doesn’t get charged with any of that

This was honestly such a cute movie. I have seen it quite a few times; I am not a big DC person, but the animation in this movie was great. The story also had a ton of fun moments too.

I actually thought this movie would be just like the f*cking Paw Patrol movies but looking at Super pets rotten tomatoes scores it’s actually THAT GOOD?!? Maybe I need to check this movie out for myself! So I did, and I got to say, it was actually really good. I like the idea of having pet counter parts of the justice league. That’s really clever!

Yeah DC has pets for every major hero that pretty much work like this. Some comics omit them entirely. Funnily enough films have created this idea that the DC universe is dark compared to Marvel, but for the most part the comics were the other way around. I’d say DC was 70% child friendly and about 30% of that was stuff like this. While Marvel was more 50:50 with about 10% silly fun. Some Marvel characters could actually come from The Boys, Hank Pym’s Ant-Man for example is a straight up from The Boys. Sentry, Punisher, Wolverine all characters who are as bloody and violent as The Boys. Not to say DC don’t have those characters but the way the comics approached things was DC wanted outright heroes while Marvel wanted to vulnerable heroes and shades of grey. All of that changed with the MCU as Marvel has mostly become a child friendly brand while DC has taken the darker tone. Of course generally speaking. Not all characters abide by this.

The yellow sun! kryptonians get their super powers from yellow sun radiation. The closer they get to the sun, the more supercharged their powers are. A red sun would remove their powers, making them like regular humans.
