As a brown belt, I felt this. I put way too much emphasis on trying to win competitions at blue and purple belt. I won a lot, and lost a lot. But guess what? Nobody remembers any of my matches even me lol. Now I compete not to win, but to see how well I’ve improved compared to last time.
