Thank you for being practical and realizing not everyone wants to spend a lot of money on candle making. I just wanted a fun activity to do while my granddaughter was visiting and didn’t want anything that wasn’t essential- it’s about the doing more than the final result for us. Love that I can use regular pans!
Hi and thank you so much for all the useful videos 😊if you don’t mind, can I ask where did you get your digital thermometer and your mini measuring scale? I’ve been looking on Amazon but found none that I was happy with. Many thanks in advance 🌹✌🏽
Hello! Thank you, I'm so pleased to hear that 😊 I actually picked up my thermometer from Tesco's and the scales from Amazon. Here's the link for the scales:www.amazon.co.uk/Ascher-Portable-Digital-Back-lit-Weighing/dp/B01FQHE25U/ref=asc_df_B01FQHE25U/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=309799275746&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=8478849849064916146&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1007011&hvtargid=pla-591961330484&psc=1 Hope that helps x
Hi Hannah, thank you for sharing your candle making journey. just wondering, I am using the same wax as you (RCX) and have just ordered 400 of the amber jars. I am not currently in the UK and I am just hoping I have ordered the right wicks (CL6) just wondering which wicks are working for your testing
Hello! The CL6 wicks work well for me using the same wax and jars. I'm also experimenting with CL10 wicks too. They burn well with a stronger melt pool, but the hot scent throw isn't as strong as CL6. Fingers crossed CL6 works out for you too 😊
Well, you can, but it's not professionally advised as you can't control the temperature rate (which is an important factor in candle making). For example, the wax I used is advised to melt at a maximum temperature of 60c and nothing higher. As long as you can control that then you should be fine. Up to you 😊

Please tell me why I cant melt it in the microwave? It works as good as doubleboiling or another method
