    • @thychozwart2451
      @thychozwart2451 9 месяцев назад

      I vehemently disagree, I've watched every match for 9 bouts spanning 18 months and the sheer power, speed and control the top brass of Sumo puts into their opponents is no joke. If you told me a Sumo wrestler pushed a truck (4 wheeler not 18 wheeler) aside because it was in the way, i'd believe you. Don't even need to mention which. Aside from Enho Akira I'm sure most professional wrestlers could do it. And Enho can't because he's only 215 lbs and still wins from guys 3 times that weight and a foot taller than him.
      I want to add because I was incredibly hyped during it, but I watched Terunofuji achieve the highest rank in Sumo live, and man that was truly a match between titans. He went 11-1 for his matches and lost the last to the 69th yokozuna, Hakuho Sho, who's considered the greatest of all time @64366

      It honestly helps that what he’s been training at to be the worlds strongest, translates super well to sumo. being super stable and strong at low centre of gravity. Body builders who are the same weight would get tossed around like ragdolls. Not because they are weak, but just the shape of their body and where their mass is (tons of it being the upper body and slimmer at the waist)
