Very cool! I MD from back line, usually electric guitar or bass, and don’t sing at all so my setup probably wouldn’t work for you! But I actually have a laptop on stage and run ableton from it. I program keys for songs changes, fading tracks, ect. I find having the rig next to me makes it so much more flexible. For my MD mic, it’s always on with a pretty heavy gate so it doesn’t pick up any stage noise, and only opens when I talk into it. Much different setup from yours!

I actually have my ableton lined up to use the number keys if something was to happen you could use that.
