I was never a fan of small EDFs but Xfly really did a great job on this whole line of twin 40s. They kept them looking fantastic, and the flight performance is as good as any 64mm single.
I've got the Twinliner and spent a fair bit of time getting it to fly slow ! I achieved that with flaps and a much smaller 1300 3s lipo. The F15 goes really well on that 4s set up and 70 - 80mph is just right for this one !
That was flying nice at half throttle, do you think it would be good on 3s 2200 and save some weight too ? Probably draws a lot less amps at lower rpm's so might get longer flight times. My Twinliner will fly 3 1/2 minutes on a 1300 3s !
Dude I'm thinking of buying an edf jet for the first time. I'll start with the xfly 40mm. I always watch your videos. You're very good. Which one do you recommend as my first edf jet? I'm stuck between f22 - f15-f18 - su57. Can you help me?
@Mroswaldo16 No climbing power? Calibrate your esc? That's much different than what I'm experiencing as you can see. I'm using a single 2200 or 2600mah 4s chnl or hrb
@RCPlaneReviewer i will calibrate the ESC see if that helps it. im using a shorty pack 4s 2200 35c pack. I use the same battery on my f16 50mm but its a smaller jet & thats a rocket.
@lewiemotorsports3616 Eh C ratings aren't a real thing past 30-40c, SMC are the direction for proven performance. So I don't bother with higher rating past 40c
@@RCPlaneReviewer you fly more than me, that’s valid. I’m only going by my personal experience with xfly planes. My twin 40s and my T7A have damn near unlimited vertical on a 2200 50c hrb or 2600 100c graphene pack

How do you tihink it compares to the E-Flite F-15 64mm?
So have you tried your radar gun on the Freewing B2? That could be interesting! Anyway, Fun video! Nice little F-15!
@Brestae I never got around to it because it at the time didn't like rotation off grass now they have grass op gear
Sweet. But man..l thats two fast
You can always throttle back!!! 🙃
@RCPlaneReviewer lol. That takes away the fun. I'll watch and leave the great flying to you guys!🔥👍🙏🦾💣

I'd go with the f15 it's stable, fast and grooves along, really well!
2200MAH Hand warmer there !
So this twin 40mm dont use the same powerplant? I have a f22 & su57, f22 seems wayy underpowered, no climbing power. Have yet to try the su57.

Also try a 50c or 100c pack
