Yah my Hydra build is melting everything on the PTR (for the most part) and I'm not even power gearing. Familiar is awesome. Although it's unfortunate (and I think a bug) that it can't proc when not on our hotbar. BTW when S6 approaches, I recommend doing a Leveling planner option along with the endgame/mythical version so people know the best way to level the build. Thanks again for the great content!

One issue I saw was the rotating element node where it wouldn’t wait for you to cast the familiar of the next type before changing the element after each skill cast so you could end up skipping a familiar element, in the case where you would want to benefit from all 3 extra buffs at once.
Any possibilities on doing an update on this build for S7?. I played this build in S5 and it was the bomb. Loved it. Now I'm playing boring overrated and tanky quill volley spirit born. Can't wait to go back to playing a sorcerer build.
Hey mate, I have already got this sorted for S7 and it's what I'm going to start S7 on so there will be a starter levelling planner and an endgame variant for when the season starts in January. Looking forward to it and hopefully you can enjoy Hydra again!
would love to see a more updated variant whenever you can, probably more into the season. also that leveling guide build before the season starts would be excellent.Any chance u can repost the build guide link? for some reason I don't see it in the list
Hey man, Sorry for the late response, life is busy right now! Glad you found the variant. A levelling build will be on my things to do, I just need to wait for final patch notes before I can finalise anything and put it out. Thank you for the kind comment though friend!
hi can you explain the skill rotation pls ? Does tyrael deal the most damage or the hydra /or is it just here for defense purpose? do you need to spam hydrea to trigger tyrael divine barrage all the time or you just put your hydras then spam the cooldown skills for crowd controll + debuff ...etc
Hey mate, The Tyrael's is mostly there for defense reasons and the hydra + winterglass provide the damage. I am going to get round to building this sometime soon so watch this space :)
Hey man, I am yet to get to Sorceror this season so I imagine there will be changed that I did not have much access to in the PTR due to changes. Watch this space as I absolutely intend to get Hydra a go, love the skill!
Hey man, Thanks for checking out the PTR video. So it requires you to masterwork into hydra heads 2 or 3 times and get to masterwork rank 12 in order to get that many heads, which is far more difficult this season than before but it's still possible. I hope this helps!
@@leocosta6485 hey mate, In this video they were as it was the PTR. I’ve recently bee. Pulling this build together on live stream without any boosts and have completed a pit 80, almost done a pit 85 with level 75ish glyphs. I don’t think it will go much above an 85 in the current game because of the lack of damage scalers for hydra and particularly lack of AOE which slows down the pit runs before the boss quite a bit. There are some potential buffs coming in the S7 PTR but I still feel it will be lacking the AOE sadly.

Tyreals Might is the Meta, unfortunately. I hate being a Meta slave. But, you need the damage reduction if you want to clear high end content. Most builds are running Tyreals might...
@@myth_275damage reduction is the least concern here and yes it is needed, but the resistances are very hard to cap specially as a barb or Rogue at Torment 4 is one shot without Tyrael, if they don’t buff the resistances in release, Tyrael gonna be the meta on all builds
This will still work for the most part but lightning spear is useless now, fractured winter glass and orb combo for any builds is useless. It will be nice to not have the splintering aspect and lightning spear on literally every build as it got nerfed into the ground.
@@xGR1MxREAPERx yes indeed, I’m going to go through and update accordingly this weekend. Winterglass will still work here to be honest, the conjuration cooldown part of the amulet didn’t play into this build so much in the end but the conjuration mastery ranks were nice. Splintering energy here could also still work as we didn’t rely on insane numbers of lightning spears more the big hits. This being said, they could both be replaced at this point and possibly my full burning variant of hydra would be better now anyway which is what I played this season.

I would recommend not making builds before season start anymore, im sure you've learned...I don't need to explain why
hydra heads nerfed? Legendary Conjuration Augments temper manual says (2-4) heads. How get it to 10 or 12?
