We are heartbroken over the death of Matthew Perry, who brought us so much joy over the years. We may know him best as Chandler from Friends, but we wanted to highlight some of his most memorable movie roles as well - let us know what your favorite Matthew Perry movie role is in the comments.❤
Hard to pick one... I plan to look up these 10 movies (with Kleenex)😢 and watch them...I'm sure that I still won't be able to chose just one.. Matthew was great funny or serious...He was my type of leading man 😢
If you're that heart broken maybe don't keep releasing so many videos days after he died to get views and likes. It hasn't even been a week and you've released hoe many videos using his name?
And it never came across as mean. Don Rickles’ entire act was based on sarcasm, but there was an underlying mean streak to it. Never got that from Perry. Really saddened by his passing.
I felt he was both moving and funny as Ron Clark in "The Ron Clark Story". Even if the role isn't *completely* accurate, he still brought a lot warmth, tough-love and heart to the role.
Thank you for delivering this touching tribute to Matthew Perry. Although he and Zac Efron don't really resemble each other, and he was barely even in the movie, he still gave a great performance with his trademark deadpan manner.
Fools rush in...has always been a favourite of mine. Salma and Matthew's chemistry was on point! Thank you Matthew for all of the great memories you left for us...gunna miss ya
Matthew is my favourite actor of all time, he was absolutely brilliant in everything, I think my favourite is either The Whole Nine Yards or Three to Tango, but it’s hard to pick just two out of such an amazing filmography. He was a gem, and may he rest in peace. ❤
Fools Rush In made me fall in love with Perry and so did Three To Tango. The Ron Clark Story made me see how serious and heartwarming he could be. It is so sad that he couldn't find his own happiness in life like he did in his movies or on TV. He had his issues but he just wanted to make people happy and to make them laugh. Thank you for all of it. RIP Matthew Perry.
How the Academy didn't award him with TEN Oscars for Best Actor escapes me. The greatest male actor of his generation. Lewis, Pacino, De Niro, Brando, Stewart, Tracy, Gable, Bogart? They are mere stand-ins for the greatness of Matthew Perry.
He should not have gone so early. He had so much potential and his best movies were waiting to happen. He was also such a sweet and lovable guy. RIP, Matthew Perry ❤
I only knew him through Friends but after seeing these clips I am tempted to seek out his movies. In the one with Chris Farley he looked like a young Colin Firth with the longer hair
My best friend and I went to see “A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon” together because she was in love with River Phoenix and I was in love with Matty. We would end up seeing it 3 times. After the 3rd time we went to a drugstore near the theater called Mott’s, to look through the magazines (Teen Beat, Bop, Etc.) in the middle of a Tiger Beat mag there was a pullout poster of the two of them from the movie. We bought it, and cut the poster in half. I had that picture of Matty for two decades! 🤣 I hung it on my dorm room wall in college and the wall in my first apartment. It finally fell apart around 2010 from having been folded, and hung up, so many times. I still have it in a folder, but it split where the folds are. Still love that picture of him. Miss him terribly!! 💔💔💔
Fools Rush In is one of my favorite Matthew Perry movies, but he was so funny in the Whole Nine Yards! There is a Chandler shaped hole in the world tonight...❤❤❤
The Whole Nine Yards is one of my favorites! I laugh every single time! I’ve been reading his memoir and it’s so sad how someone so brilliant, funny and kind could be so tortured. I hope he’s found peace now. RIP Matthew Perry 😢💓
RIP Matthew Perry, you'll always be in our hearts. Happy wednesday night, Rebecca. Take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well.
Fools rush in was one of my favorite movies! I remember I had gotten custody of my daughter and so it was just her and I and he watched it together and then I watched it continually every day for about a month and my daughter was so sick of that movie. Lol. Matthews sarcasm throughout everything he did was just so on point. He is a legend of comedy. Greatly missed.
I'm going to enjoy watching every movie Perry made. He was quite underrated as a serious actor in his time. Everyone I know is genuinely sad to hear of his untimely end. He will warm hearts for many, many years to come.
My #1 is your #3..."Fools Rush In" to me is one of the greatest in the genre. The chemistry between Alex and Isabel radiates through the screen. This film gave me hope in love when I was going through a bad break up in the late '90s.
@@lindawilson8154 Agreed. "Die Hard" is My #2 all-time movie to watch (The Godfather is #1) so putting my favorite action guy and my favorite "friend" together was magical.
Matthew in the 80s TV show Growing Pains. His character was dating Carol (Tracey) and he was drinking and driving. In the hospital after the accident he made a joke and Carol became upset with him then they were serious because he got a 2nd chance at life. His character ended up passing away b4 Carol made it home. I remember that now from when it 1st aired. That’s when I became a fan of Matthew Perry.
You know the late Matthew Perry and the late Robin Williams would have made a great comedy duo in a movie I bet Matthew wanted to work with Robin Williams but now they are both making everyone laugh up in heaven along with Chris Farley Farley, Williams, and Perry kinda of like the three stooges or the three amigos now in heaven.
He was almost a hero, he put a bullet in your head, but in the end he knew the house always wins and the game was rigged from the start. Rest in peace Benny 🙏
gone to soon, most of this movies are really great and fools rush in is one of the greatest and underrated romcoms ever, he should have been in more movies he was a fantastic actor
Yes, it's sad matt died, but what's worse is dying without knowing Jesus. That's really bad, and I know some people don't take it seriously, but they really should
I will never forget the image of Matthew Perry standing on a boat, totally stunned, while Bruce Willis throws him a can of beer, that he does not even try to catch and flies right into the water. I watched "The whole Nine Yards" again and again (as long as we rented the VHS) with my boyfriend at the time and we could not stop laughing.
Please get right with Jesus if you haven't already, with Matthew perry dying it reminds me that everyone of us is destined to spend eternity somewhere and it's scary
The only thing scarier than dying is dying without Jesus. I saw a video of a testimony a guy shared of hell and he said "it doesn't matter if you are someone famous here, nobody would know who you are there. Because your name is covered in darkness"
I only watched 17 Again last year while I was on vacation and I thought it was an okay comedy. The thing that didn't make a lot of sense was Zac Efron and Matthew Perry don't look alike, maybe if they did pick actors that resembled each other, it would have been believable. But besides that, it had some charm.
I loved the Whole Nine Yard, I was just thinking a few weeks ago how I would like to re-watch it its been years! hopefully can find it on a streaming site.
I think the problem he had was friends being so succesful. All i can see in every clip is Chandler, even in the one he did before friends.. its like the actor in the new Frasier series, Nicholas Lyndhurst, hes a very well respected actor here in the UK, hes been in several succesful things, including theatre, but every time i see him i just see him from his most succesful role in a uk sitcom, only fools and horses. Widely considered the best uk sitcom ever. Where he played a character called Rodney from 1981 to 2003. Highly suggested viewing. But possibly too succesful for him.
I'm surprised *Almost Heroes* is so high up on the list. I thought it was terrible, even with Matthew Perry in the lead role, which to be honest, is the only reason why I bothered to watch it in the first place. Serving Sara, Fools Rush In, 17 Again & The Whole 9 Yards are my absolute favorites. R.I.P Matthew Perry. You will be missed and will forever be our Chandler Bing. 👑 🕯️
We are heartbroken over the death of Matthew Perry, who brought us so much joy over the years. We may know him best as Chandler from Friends, but we wanted to highlight some of his most memorable movie roles as well - let us know what your favorite Matthew Perry movie role is in the comments.❤
A lot of movie roles!
Alex in fool's Rush in
Hard to pick one...

Always wanted him to be happpppyyyy... you break our heart mathew miss you the most
Matthew was the King of sarcasm. His timing and delivery was perfection. He never failed to make us laugh. RIP Matthew, thanks for everything. ❤
And it never came across as mean. Don Rickles’ entire act was based on sarcasm, but there was an underlying mean streak to it. Never got that from Perry. Really saddened by his passing.
Fools Rush In was such a good movie and definitely my favorite role of his.
RIP Matthew Perry 🙏🏻
Yes, that and Serving Sara
Definitely my favorite as well
I'll consider giving Fools Rush In a look.
One of my top 5 Romcom ❤ Alex Whitman is definitely my fav role from Matthew Perry (aside from Chandler Bing of course)!!!
I agree! Fools Rush In was my favorite! So sad! RIP Matthew Perry 🙏🏼❤️
I just watched a video from ET that said he wanted Zac to play him in a biopic and he was going to ask him shortly.
Love Fool Rush In. It didn’t get much love when it first came out, but I think it’s aged well. I rank it in my top 10 favorite romantic comedies.
Every role Matthew Perry played was a masterpiece. May he rest in peace🙏
As much as I love Friends, I’m glad y’all are highlighting his movies
Fools rush in...has always been a favourite of mine. Salma and Matthew's chemistry was on point! Thank you Matthew for all of the great memories you left for us...gunna miss ya
Thank you for this video. Matthew said himself he didn't want to only be remembered for Friends, so it's absolutely heart warming seeing this list ❤
Matthew is my favourite actor of all time, he was absolutely brilliant in everything, I think my favourite is either The Whole Nine Yards or Three to Tango, but it’s hard to pick just two out of such an amazing filmography. He was a gem, and may he rest in peace. ❤

@@MaryJaneKalnas Thank you so much!!💕

Fools Rush In is my favourite romantic comedy, I love Matthew and Salma as an onscreen couple!
Mine too
Same here
He should not have gone so early. He had so much potential and his best movies were waiting to happen. He was also such a sweet and lovable guy. RIP, Matthew Perry ❤

Thank you so much for posting this vid. Definitely my favorites are Fools Rush In and The Whole Nine Yards. RIP Matthew Perry. 🥺
I first saw him in Friends, but the first movie with him was Fools Rush In and it probably is my favorite movie of his along with The Whole 9 Yards.

I've never seen Fools Rush On or The Whole Nine Yards but i want to now. Thanks for this. rip Matthew Perry ❤
You will laugh at both, but he was sweet in Fools Rush In.
They are time well spent.
I'm going to enjoy watching every movie Perry made. He was quite underrated as a serious actor in his time. Everyone I know is genuinely sad to hear of his untimely end. He will warm hearts for many, many years to come.
It's too bad that his life took a different angle and he didn't had more movies because he was brilliant in any of them. R.I.P Matthew Perry 😢❤
Fools Rush In is one of my favs, and living in the southern US I quote the “people are melting” line alot
My #1 is your #3..."Fools Rush In" to me is one of the greatest in the genre. The chemistry between Alex and Isabel radiates through the screen. This film gave me hope in love when I was going through a bad break up in the late '90s.
I'm ok with their #1 pick because it is so clever and also hilarious, but Fools Rush In is by far my favorite as well.
@@lindawilson8154 Agreed. "Die Hard" is My #2 all-time movie to watch (The Godfather is #1) so putting my favorite action guy and my favorite "friend" together was magical.
Simply ................. UNIQUE !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Matthew as Ron Clark is my favorite movie. He was fantastic!!!
Loved him in Fools Rush In. Sad he's gone too soon😢❤
I love these Matthew Perry movie roles!
Most of his characters made me comfortable with my social life and being my weird and sardonic self. He will be dearly missed.
FAVORITE MOVIE: Folls rush in! Just charming, believable and sweet! Lov YOU, Matthew, FOREVER!
Fools Rush In and Three to Tango are my favorites.🥰 I miss you, my Matty boy.❤
Rip Sarcastic king, Chandler 😢
mine was absolutely whole nine yards and fools rush in. i loved his work!
#1 was so good. Love those movies
RIP Matthew Perry. We miss you 🙏❣️
You know the late Matthew Perry and the late Robin Williams would have made a great comedy duo in a movie I bet Matthew wanted to work with Robin Williams but now they are both making everyone laugh up in heaven along with Chris Farley Farley, Williams, and Perry kinda of like the three stooges or the three amigos now in heaven.
Time to binge watch the king of sarcasm.... ❤❤❤
studio 60 on the sunset strip was so underrated. it never got the chance that it deserved.
Rip chandler the king of sarcasm you will missed 😭💔
He was almost a hero, he put a bullet in your head, but in the end he knew the house always wins and the game was rigged from the start. Rest in peace Benny 🙏
Matthew Perry's screen time in "17 Again" may have been brief, but I loved watching him in that film. 😊 May he rest in peace. 😞
17 Again is my favorite Matthew Perry movie and Friends is my favorite show EVER!!!😇😍😢
Almost Heroes? Matthew in period clothing? Swoon! ❤
The Whole Nine Yards was not only my favorite Perry movie, it's one of my favorites overall. Good choice!
I absolutely loved Fools Rush In and always liked Matthew Perry. RIP
You were loved - and you will be missed!
Rest in peace, my Friend...
Very very great fun list I like it a lot very very great job mis mojo one of my absolute favorite list ever 😊❤
gone to soon, most of this movies are really great and fools rush in is one of the greatest and underrated romcoms ever, he should have been in more movies he was a fantastic actor
I just watched “Numb” last night and I think it’s not bad and almost autobiographical for Matthew Perry.
I really miss him 😔🌹🕊️
Yes, it's sad matt died, but what's worse is dying without knowing Jesus.
That's really bad, and I know some people don't take it seriously, but they really should
Rip Matthew 💔🙏😭💜great amazing actor and man
I loved him in Fools RushIn, but first saw Mathew Perry in She’s Outta Control.
He is family bro. I love him so much. 🤍🪷🍀♾️
Three To Tango is my favorite movie of his. I enjoyed his work in that movie very much.
omg 17 again was my movie RIP matthew perry :(
I’m ok with his fools rush in role being 3 on this list but I’d have put it higher even over his widely Star making role in the whole nine yards
The Whole Nine Yards and Fools Rush In are definitely top tier Perry.

Almost Heroes is incredibly underrated.
I loved Matthew Perry in any role he’s so funny as Chandler tho
Rest In Peace, Matthew Perry. My Mom Was Friends' Die-Hard Fan, I Hope She Can Meeting With You In Heaven.

Three to tango is one of my guilty pleasure movies
The Whole 10 Yards, with the great Bruce Willis. 'Blanche oh no' - because OZ ran over her. We are going to lose Bruce at some stage too. RIP Matthew.
The only thing scarier than dying is dying without Jesus.
I saw a video of a testimony a guy shared of hell and he said "it doesn't matter if you are someone famous here, nobody would know who you are there. Because your name is covered in darkness"
The whole nine yards hands down the best movie of Matthew Perry and thus correctly put on number 1!
Aside from loving him as Chandler I will always love him as Alex in Fools Rush In
Why?
I loved him in "The Ron Clark Story." But I think my favorite role was when he was on "The West Wing."
To me Fools rush in is the best.
I only watched 17 Again last year while I was on vacation and I thought it was an okay comedy. The thing that didn't make a lot of sense was Zac Efron and Matthew Perry don't look alike, maybe if they did pick actors that resembled each other, it would have been believable. My top 4 1. 17 Again 2. Fools Rush In 3. The Ron Clark Story 4. Three To Tango
I loved the Whole Nine Yard, I was just thinking a few weeks ago how I would like to re-watch it its been years! hopefully can find it on a streaming site.
This is heartbreaking as it is but need more of him... Jacquene Pheonix should tell that story on the big screen
Matthew Perry reunites with his former co stars River Phoenix and Chris Farley in Heaven after all of these years.
My favorite role is that of Ron Clark in the Ron Clark story. Love that movie and his acting in it
Mine is Alex Witman
Matthew Perry 😢😍❤❤❤❤❤❤👏
Absolutely Fools Rush In!
Sad to see Matthew gone. Now he’ll never have anymore movies.
The Whole Nine Yards was my favorite.
RiP 🌹 he be miss great actor
The Whole Nine Yards was the best. R.I.P. Mathew Perry.
The Ron Clark Story, and Fools Rust In
I'm surprised that Perry and Campbell dated
I did not know he was in the movie the kid with Bruce Willis.
Ron Clark story is an underrated movie
my favorite Perry Movie Is "When Fools Rush IN"!!
I read on a review of Fools Rush In on Screen It
Matthew Perry is a bit reminiscent of Michael Keaton sharing some same mannerisms
Thoughts people?
Why wasn’t this uploaded on the main WatchMojo account
I'm sure everyone has their favorite but I'm shocked Jimmy Reardon was #10! That movie was fantastic!
fools rush in should be number 1

Said this a whole lot, Perry should have played The Riddler
Not the drawing having played Spider-Man .
Fools Rush In
My favorite will always be Leslie Edwards. Understandably I figured Oz would be #1 though
now its hard to rewatch all of these, can we just pretend that he went to Yemen? 😢😢😢
17 Again was cute!
Gone too soon
