No. I used 2x3's for the wheel well boxes. I did not use 2x4's for any of the construction. 2x3's are drier and twist less. I also, purchased the 2x3's over a month earlier and allowed them to dry before using. Returned any that twisted too much!
I have never seen the T nuts done like that. So much nicer than L brackets.
