Hello, and thank you Kit for an enjoyable walk around my old college, in which I was a student and academic for many decades. One or two additional points, if I may.Sir Thomas Bodley, who established the Bodleian Library, was a Fellow of Merton College, and in fact, within the college, the college library is the oldest, and therefor, medieval, continuously functioning college library in the world, although it suffered severe depredations during the Reformation, and again during the Civil War.
The library door in the south west corner of Mob Quad ( that name is a history lesson all in itself ) possibly pre-dates even the library, originating from the Oxford Carmelite friary I believe.
Anyway, well done, and thank you for posting - helps to bring back some wonderful memories for me !!!!!!

@@kitsullivan1583 Thank you Kit, you are most welcome :) Interesting, I had never made any sort of note as to the number of episodes that were filmed within or around Merton. The film production crews were always welcome, and we appreciated the high level of professionalism that they aspired to - oh yes, and of course, the additional funds to the college were no minor consideration either. Thanks once again - well done !!
