Once you lay your pieces on your card are are ready to start gluing, have you tried using press n seal plastic wrap to grab all the pieces and lift them so you can start gluing? It works great. And you can use the press n seal piece over and over.

Yes, I like using the press n seal for that, but I forgot to grab it before I started the video, so I used the mint tape instead.
