    Wow! One of your best tutorials ever - and they're all great! The background is so impactful but you have shown how achievable it is, and with a technique which will work with countless stamps and stencils. I bought the window die knowing I liked the idea of a structural piece but without any real clue as to how I was going to bring it to life - and your crackle/ paint/ ink idea is just perfect. Please, please continue with your videos as they really are so much more helpful than the pictures and brief descriptions in so many blog and Instagram posts. The time you take is so appreciated ❤

    Many steps but a great card. It really is the extra detailed steps like the way you added texture paste then just a bit of colour to the cathedral window, to bring out the cracks that make the shape looked aged and so realistic. Thanks for the video Juliana.

    Using tracing paper as a mask would make it easier to align the design of the stamp evenly on your background paper.

    Saw your cards on Tim Holtz. Beautiful just beautiful. What size cards do you usually make?????

    • @JulianaMichaels
      @JulianaMichaels  3 месяца назад

      I usually make the standard A2 size which is 4.25 x 5.5 inches. This one is much larger than normal!

    • @heidim6468
      @heidim6468 3 месяца назад +1

      @@JulianaMichaels love the larger ones I am not an A2 fan my family and friends say they are so small, like an invitation card so when I see larger cards I love them or just make a2 into 5x7

    • @JulianaMichaels
      @JulianaMichaels  3 месяца назад

      @@heidim6468that would be my suggestion! You can always take the design and make it larger. You can even just layer the A2 design on to some mat layers to make it larger!

    I love this tutorial video! Question for you, can I use the Distress Spritz in lieu of the Distress sprays? I will be trying this on my card panels!!

    • @JulianaMichaels
      @JulianaMichaels  3 месяца назад

      If you are referring to coloring the watercolor paper Spritz would not be my first choice because they aren’t really made for full color coverage. I would recommend using Distress Ink and either blend it onto the paper or ink smoosh it or even just use colored cardstock and ink the edges. Hope that helps!

    • @debbiekneeland8827
      @debbiekneeland8827 3 месяца назад

      @@JulianaMichaels Yes this does help. I actually smooshed my Distress Ink onto my panel and then added some Distress Spritz (I don't currently have any sprays}. It worked beautifully!! :) Thank you for responding!

  • @kristinevencel2898
    @kristinevencel2898 3 месяца назад

    I love this idea but you did too much ink smooshing for me. I would have to do more colored cardstock. But this project sure turned out lovely! Obviously your details make it the best it can be.
