I know you’re sending a message and I’m an amazing way. But this show would actually slap, the quality of the animation and voice acting is so good especially the suits.
Directly searched for this by channel name and it would not show your channel, had to search the name with “middle class Matt” added in order to find it. RUclips sucks
I think the only thing inaccurate about this is if that group of corporate housing buyers are suppose to either represent Blackrock or Vanguard then they wouldnt be coming with a massive bag full of money. They would actually try to haggle you with way less money and try to make it seem like you were getting a sweet deal with your ever appreciating asset. This group of financers would rather gentrify the whole neighborhood and tank housing rates of the entire area before they would ever offer you more then twice the value of the house they wanna buy. That is suppose to come later when they then quadruple the value of the house you sold to them.
You guys should step up your publicity. Branch out to other platforms, do shorts, ads, posters, whatever. And most importantly, don't just speak your voice. SCREAM AND FIGHT FOR YOUR PEOPLE

Love pizza bagel, hate the commodification of housing and the stagnation of affordable housing builds in the United States. We need more housing variety and more affordable ways to build. We also need to stop tearing down homes. Rehabilitation should be cheaper than building new.
Guys can you tell me if this is an accurate representation of American housing? Cause i live on Indonesia and i don't think i seen that problem here But i might been mistaken
As a American who lived in 3 states in my adult life and my conversations with other Americans from other states I can say yes. Many big companies are buying residential homes to rent out to the public. Which ultimately makes the public more poor. - A lot of our rights come from land ownership. Tenant rights are garbage and tenants are less involved in government as well.
It's pretty accurate. Except for the helicopter, but that might change. Who knows? And most of us don't own our homes. We rent, and that usually takes up a third of our monthly incomes, not including utilities, taxes or fees.
I used to help my dad with construction. I once meet this guy who flipped neighborhoods. One guy not a company, it was one guy who bought up neighborhoods and flipped em insanely impressive
I mean the message is agreeable, but, why is this so patronizing? It's written like a show for preschoolers, except they say "fuck", and there isn't any subtlety whatsoever. The good guy is obviously the good guy with no downsides (or personality - apart from a QUIRKY fixation on mugs!!!), the bad guys are obviously the bad guys, and there isn't any need to examine a subtext or allegory. It's just an obvious statement about an issue that more people are growing aware of. Also, at what point in the story did voting factor in? The bad guys said "we want to steal your house because we are evil", and the protagonist said no. This feels like one of those cheap PSAs about drug use from the 1980s with a corporate Facebook art style to disguise it. Also really lame how it just says "vote for leaders who prioritize people over profits" as if it's rare that a politician in America argued that they're fighting for the underdog and that they don't want big business to crush your financial independence. Literally everyone, from the politically unaligned to the die-hard Leninist, votes for someone they assume is going to do good. At its core, this is just propaganda. Agreeable propaganda on a surface level (yes, hedge funds are bad), but still shallow, ineffective, and sloppy. If you want to change the culture you have to make stories that resonate with people on a deep level.
@vanevo897 the artstyle and animation is nothing a like The humor is nothing a like The themes and story is nothing a like The voice acting and production is nothing a like I do not see how this video is somewhat similar to ongezellig
@talentlessanimator2831 okay, let's try it this way.... THE "Ongezelling" for "normal" people, ergo it's going to be LIKE ongezelling, but for you know, "normal" people, I can't explain it any other way
We need more media hitting the nail on the head like this. Keep up the good work brother, solidarity and all that

This is extremely accurate and also shows exactly how greedy companies are when it comes to housing markets

Hypnotically caucasian
That's level of cartoonish villainy when the bad guy buys everything so everyone will depend on him
It's beautiful...

I think it is, everything is too complex
