Idk why. But the best joke in the movie is the “we don’t need the monitor”. Idk why, but very time I think of it I can’t stop from smiling.

this. I'm an avid movie watcher, and I've gleaned enough understanding to where I can see plot twists coming a mile away. I knew the twist to Usual Suspects before I even saw it. I figured out The Sixth Sense by the opening scene. THIS reveal? I did NOT see it coming. I was stunned and awed by it. Kudos to the screenwriters and directors.

A sweet detail is Peter B. reassuring Miles the entire fight in the lab. Even though he was getting beat up, he kept insisting he was okay to Miles, who he learned had been there when his Spiderman was killed.
As comical as the whole thing is, I thought that was genuinely adorable.
4:55 is such a cinematic anime feel entrance moment well done top tier
"My friends call me Liv. My enemies call me Doc Ock." How conversationally she says that makes it the best and most chilling line in the movie. Great line reading.

My god, the enemies have SUCH a bad aim. They were shooting from multiple machine guns, and they ALL missed. Wtf?
Maybe because they're all scientists and not soldiers
@@Max-vr2po It's not a rifle. It's a machine gun. Machine guns are notoriously famous for being easy to learn -- so much so that children use them.
Thaaat's not how guns work. The recoil from multiple shots in quick succession makes it real hard to be *accurate* without mechanical assistance, even for an expert. Automatic fire at range isn't meant to be used to get hits. It's meant to *threaten* hits so that the enemy can't operate effectively.
Now, on the other hand, while the shot colour and the appearance of the guns makes them look like energy weapons, there's a shot that does confirm them to have recoil - however, that same shot also depicts the scientists actually using them properly, firing single shots for better accuracy.
In the forest, I can see their inability to hit being artistic licence as the Spider-Men dodge with their spider senses. But *before* that, when they're stopped at the railing, I agree it's a bit ridiculous how many shots miss.
The only way I can see it happening is if all of the scientists *started* with automatic fire because they had easy targets, didn't quite have their initial shots on target and then couldn't pull them onto target while still firing. Then realised their mistake and switched to single fire, but no longer had easy targets.
But that is a stretch, and in the shots where we actually see them they are animated to look more competent than that.
@@CyarSkirata Guns have recoil, but those specific guns that were used didn't have much, just like many machine guns (because they use 9mm). And even though they're scientists, do you honestly think that they didn't have training? Do you honestly think that Kingpin would allow bunch of non-trained personnel to carry firearms into the office so openly? Of course not, and you know it. They'll just end up killing each other.

If I'd have been Peter in that situation "Well can I call you Liv?" followed by a tiger growl...just something about a nerdy villain lady in goggles and tights with latex arms. Hahn's voice completes the illusion.

YES and no actually, in this universe she's just Doc Ock in the female version of Otto Octavius, Lady Octopus is Carolyne Trainer.
You have to remember that miles' universe is NOT Peter's. It just did not occur to Peter that his rogues gallery would/could all just be entirely different people. Doc ock being a man in his world being a woman in this one, Green Goblin being a man in a suit while this worlds GG is a Dragon Monster. It gets even wilder in Gwen's world were Matt Murdock took the position of Kingpin
