I don't think the anime covers it... But Laure is from the branch family (Phonsekal) of one of the Great families (Eurasia family). Sleep is basically the defining characteristic of the Eurasia family, but they are amazing at shinsu control. Basically sleeping makes them good at shinsu.

i think i need to say this
zahaard never had children (theorically as for now...)
all of princess zahaard are adopted from big family
for example from last episodes about khun's backstory, they hate khun and his mother because one supposed to addopted and become zahaard princess (from khun family) but failed
she failed because fell in love with someone (though that someone is a test)
So you see zahaard doesnt have any children because he's too strong so maybe his direct blood related would be much stronger, so instead zahaard start adopt strong girl from big families.
one of the rules for being zahaard princess is not fall in love, but anaak's mother (real anaak) fell in love with the cook she met. Zahaard angry and start hunt her.

If I remember right, the Princess's of Jahad inherit a drop of Jahad's blood. That's why they're not allowed to marry so that the blood of Jahad wouldn't spread to a nobody.
