im VERY surprised you didn't hear the dead cylinder everytime you'd try to start it......... EVERYTIME there is a hickup while cranking where it doesn't "sound normal" there is a compression issue...... no compression check needed.

you kinda need to test it out on a piece because every job is different but you need realy low amperage for sure. alternatively, there are welding calculators on the internet and apps for phones that can get you in the ballpark aswell :D

You can put race ramps behind the rear tires of the truck, then back up on to them to get a better approach angle on the trailer 👍🏻

I work at a restoration shop and ive set the rockers by ear before too, it works but its kinda a quick get me by method lol
