I think sharing personal things also makes you more relatable. As you know one sometimes look at creators and think they are perfect, but in fact they are just human too with their own issues etc.

I'm so sorry to hear about your nana, Vic. My mum has dementia, she is going to be 80 next week. I resonated with everything you said: watching them as they are now when you're comparing them to the person they were is extremely difficult. My mum isn't in a memory care facility yet because my dad is still able to be her carer for now but she will eventually need to transition to one. It sounds like your nana is in a fantastic place, surrounded by people who know exactly how to care for her. I know some people stop visiting their family member once they no longer remember them, so it's incredibly special that you continue to see your nana. I am absolutely terrified of the day when I visit my mother and she doesn't recognize me, but I'll always show up for her. Oh babe, my heart aches for you. But you're right - as long as they are safe, healthy, and happy, that is most important! Big hugs to you and your dad

It’s almost like your newlyweds again❤️having just been married in November and dealt with some similar issues with my husband ( we’ve been together 10 yrs! ), I know how challenging it can be to work through these things together. Thank you for opening up about your Nana. I'm going through the same with my Nan, she's 97 and my last grandparent like you. It's so hard seeing our strong female role models in decline, but it's also tough to see our dad's unsettled too. I hope you enjoy your trip away, I know she will never be far from your minds but I hope it gives you some comfort to know she is safe and just know she would have wanted you to enjoy this valuable quality time as a family! 🫶

I’m loving the editing. And our family dachshund lived until he was almost 19. So there is hope. He was very active in his youth. Loved to run.

I am also, so sorry to hear about your granny, I know how from personal experience how hard it is when your grandparent has dementia. It's heartbreaking when they don't recognise you anymore and become more and more childlike. My dad too was so sad to see the decline of his mum. It's a tough pill to swallow but I'm glad you have love surrounding you to soften the tough blows that life can sometime deal you. We are your community are also here to envelope you!

Hi from South Africa. I work in engineering with mostly men and do have days (like today) where I don’t want to see other people. I try to avoid meetings but cannot always, because I dont look or feel good about myself and how do explain that to them. Knowing someone as beautiful and stylish also have that days really helps that it is ok to feel like that and it gets better again. Thank you for always being honest and lots of love to the family.
Such a different list than when I head out the door…. Mine goes something like diapers, diaper bags, baby clothes for accidents, pacifiers… 😂 sometimes I remember my own stuff too 🤷🏼♀️

I admire all you do and how truly hard you work. Nothing has just "landed in your lap". Yet must say, I think Holland Cooper is waaay too over hyped. The branding is over the top. Every "influencer" promotes the brand. Over saturation. Just my opinion.

I just. Had to put my mom in memory care. It’s so difficult. Allow yourself the grief. It’s like saying goodbye slowly, somewhat painfully. Hugs

So sorry to hear about your Nana, but I'm sure she has lived a lovely and fulfilling life. Having the support being in nursing/ around the clock home is a hard decision, but it is what is best for her. Thank you for providing an update with you and Alex and happy to hear that every day has been on an up than what it has been. We appreciate the vulnerability and makes you both more relatable. Alex, thank you for speaking out about this! There is still such a stigma about mental health and especially in men. I'm so glad you have been able to get the help you needed. Nobody should have to struggle or suffer when there are so many resources available now.
If any of my relations were in a care home . I would honestly put a hidden camera in their room. With what can go on in some of them . Just for peace of mind .
For the coffee, I had a barista once say to put beans in the freezer! So I do that. But my mom puts hers in a air tight can. 🤷🏾♀️The both seem to work ok!

There’s a lot of influence/content creators who outright lie about making their life look so perfect when they struggle with real life just like everyone else!
My mum has dementia and it's nothing short of traumatic to witness. Every week I go gets that bit harder such a sad illness for all concerned. Sxx
I love how Boe was watching your hand at the beginning of the vlog. He just want pets, lol. I just had to put my sweet, sweet boy to sleep. He was 16 years old and it has left such a hole in my heart. The house is not the same without him. He was so loved, as is Boe. I wish dogs could live so much longer. It will hurt no matter how long they live, just love them and appreciate what wonderful creatures that they are. 💔❤😘

Victoria, a book suggestion….Scattered Minds’ by Gabor Mate’. The origins and healing of Attention Deficit Disorder Disorder. My husband was recently diagnosed with diagnosed and it’s been really …brutal on me going through….what the hell is wrong with him!😢. This book has given me a bit more understanding of the disorder and the difficulties, especially for the spouse. I wish there was medication for the wives who have husbands suffering with this. LOL It’s a journey for sure. Thanks for being open and sharing your experience.

Just wondered if you would be willing to give more details on the cost of getting the diagnosis and what meds you’re on. I’m currently on the NHS waiting list, and it’s taking ages. I just don’t think I can afford to go private thought. And then also once if diagnosed privately do you then have to pay for private prescriptions too?

I follow you for few years now, started on Pinterest, then instagram and then I've realized that you have a RUclips channel, so I started watching your vlogs... I enjoy every new vlog more and more. Quite often,what we are working at in life, is not where we are ment to be. If we simply keep working on ourself, we will stumble on something that changes our life and in turn we can help others. My son Matt 42 was Delta Force In the army. He was critically injured when a helicopter landed on him while he was on a rescue mission. One leg was a,outdated, the other was paralyzed. Lying in the hospital he cried and said, my life is over. I said No….we will get you better, and you will find something you enjoy. Very long story he became one of only a few who climbed all the highest mountain peaks in the world with NO USE OF HIS LEGS. This not only changed his life but he helped countless people in the process. He died 2 years ago in an Avalanche, and as sad as it is, he died, doing what he loved, and what changed his life. Don’t underestimate your life as an influencer, and couple, the help you could give others in each of your struggles.

JHC makes lovely clothes however they are ridiculously expensive. personally i try to stay away from polyester and prefer natural fibers where possible. Instead of shopping JHC ill watch you shop there instead! 😉

Aww Victoria we are going through this with my mum, and my mum thinks she is fine. But she needs to go into a home. Unfortunately my dad also had Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, and now my mum. My heart goes out to you and your family, dementia is so cruel. You and Alex are a strong couple you got this👍👍
Ooo loved all the tops! I live in them in the summer. As sheer as possible usually with boxers! ( it’s a late 80s thing I refuse to give up ha) and blue and white stripe always perfect in summer! Love the HC cuts of the tops!
I had a dachshund too, the love of my live also, he lived for 21 years. They are the best dogs in the world. Kisses from Barcelona, excuse my English.
I’m seperated from my hubby ( his issues are a bit diff as they also sadly involve self medication with alcohol for his depression )

I love the black chanel bag, but I feel it doesn‘t go with the holland cooper coat. The cognac leather ont he coat really clashes with the black leather of the bag… says the person that literally only wears a childrens bagpack to every outfit she wears. So nevermind😂

I was a barista and yes you need to keep your beans in airtight container or clip the bag shut. Also advised to keep in a cool place.

Unfortunately, he took his life after masking it too long. God bless you two for your transparency and the work you've put into choosing yourselves and each other every day.
