      You're welcome @the40dollars... and thank you for visiting Scootopia.
      Thanks for reaching out, I remember You. Yes, Safety Gear can be the difference between life and death. Of course Riding practice has to factor in as well. I'm glad you survived that ordeal. Many of us go down, and though we suffer injuries (some worst than others) we learn the valuable lessons and rise to Ride again better, safer and wiser.
      I'm sorry to hear this Buddy. I wish you a full and speedy recovery.
      Hope to see you Riding again after you heal.

    I absolutely love self healing/self sealing tires! i used to average one flat tire each week on my scooters before running the self healing/self sealing tire technology.
    after learning about the self healing/self sealing tires which are now the industry standard, minimum requirement for scooters, it has been over one year since my last flat tire. i literally pulled out 10 different screws, nails and other metal and glass and various tire puncturing road debris from my wolf king gt pro rear tire last week. when i removed all of that debris from my tire, i didn’t lose one pound of air, no air leaked while removing the debris, nor after the debris was removed.
    i would really like to buy the race tires (i think called pmt tires) with the self healing/self sealing non drying gel technology in them. i hope this becomes available very soon! i would buy a set for all of my scooters!

    The wolf king GTR has my absolute favorite tires. these tires are extremely strong material, and perfect for both on and off road riding. and the self sealing self healing non liquid, assures no flat tires while riding the scooter. I think self sealing self healing tires are the new standard for no flat tires.
    i have been riding dualtron and wolf king gt pro and most recently the gtr, and in the past two years, i have not had one flat tire, and i have removed approximately 20 to 30 nails and screws from my tires over this time period.
    there are a lot of factors to consider when buying a new scooter. the importance of not getting a flat tire cannot be overstated.
    self sealing self healing tires have improved the reliability/dependability of scooters and all of micro mobility, exponentially.
    every flat tire i have seen while on a group scooter ride could have been prevented, had the scooter owner had the self sealing self healing tires. because the cause has always been a screw or nail which the self sealing self healing tire seals very well, without the mess of the use of liquids.
    of all of the self sealing self healing tires i have seen and experienced as a scooter rider, the wolf king gtr are my favorite tires thus far. i can see these tires lasting a very long time because of the very good quality (the material feels just like very high quality automobile tires) of the material. if possible, i will install these tires onto all of my scooters which these tires will fit onto. i still need to measure to see if these tires will fit onto other scooter models.
    thank you for another great review. your videos are among the very best in straightforward truth, simplicity to understand, critically important and relevant information. and you are great at relating to the needs of scooter nations, united. all the world shall ride micro mobility, soon!
    soon, everyone will have either a micro mobility scooter, or micro mobility of some type or kind, and some people will still have a car, for rainy days.
    its a true joy to meet people that are so happy with their decision to sell their automobile, and switch to commuting with micro mobility scooters, and other forms of micro mobility as well.
    California was initially scheduled to enforce the zero sales of fossil fuel power new automobiles in 2025 (just over one year away) and although this date has been slightly extended, residents have taken the initiative, and choosing to go, true zero fossil fuel commuting. the sales of electric vehicles and electric micro mobility continue to accelerate exponentially, at a rate never seen in history.
    and with electric power, people have the choice to make their fuel at home, clean solar power. literally collecting the suns energy, and storing this energy in batteries, to travel as and where and when, needed.
    i learned long ago while volunteering with Plug In America, that even if 100% of the electricity to power an electric car came from coal, that an electric car still produces 1/2 of the air pollution when compared to fossil fuel powered automobiles. this is significant.

    I don’t get how you put the weight AND the removable battery as things you don’t like when the entire point of the feature of the battery being removable is for conceived and to decrease the weight. Seems like you’re missing or grazed over some of the big highlights of the GTR the hybrid self repairing tires are incredible and are split and can be changed much easier then on the GT pro

    • @SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan
      @SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan  Год назад +2

      Hey @hank01000... thanks for visiting Scootopia.
      Let me enlighten you on my reason for the weight and Removable battery. Reducing the weight of the Scooter is a very good point on paper but it would have been better served to make the battery a 40Ah (larger battery actually reducing Scooter weight by 7lbs) The Removable Pack hasn't taken off on the few Scooters that has it because the weight of the battery is too heavy to carry separately. A person would have to leave that extra battery at home because it's impossible to carry in a back pack or attached to the Scooter. It was a terrible idea to create a Removable battery for this Scooter when they could have added a perm battery with more range.
      You're right about the self healing Tires, they are amazing and I did not leave it out of the Video. I mentioned the self healing Tires when I had both Scooters side by side. The Rims are not split rims... they are easy remove Rims for easy motor, flats and tire swaps but the Rim does not split.

      First let me say that you spelled my name wrong Buddy. It us not "Old" Man Dan it is "Oh" ManDan.
      I have bought all of these and the Thunder 2 is definitely an amazing Scooter but they have released the Thunder 3 and the Thunder 3 is far above the Thunder 2.
      Because I have bought 19 Dualtron Beast Scooters and 9 Kaabo Wolf Brand Scooters. Both are good Scooters but the Dualtron Brand has an impeccable record for building quality whereas the Kaabo has had several issues throughout the years even though the resolve and take care of them.
      If I ONLY had enough money to buy one Scooter of The Thunder 3 or Kaabo GTR... I would choose the Dualtron Thunder 3 over the Kaabo GTR

    In your opinion Is the Wolf king GTR better than the Imotions RS? I'm placing a order for a scooter This weekend between the 2 and I'm going to use your discount codes. And I noticed the RS has a $500 discount Code and the GTR only a $300 discount code.

    • @SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan
      @SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan  8 месяцев назад

      Hey @rickywright2100... thanks for visiting Scootopia.
      There are issues with both of those Scooters and choice is very subjective.
      Though the Wolf King GTR is a better built Scooter than the Inmotion RS... it has a few issues that many have been complaining about:
      • The height of Scooter
      Loose center of gravity
      • Battery issues
      • Range deficiency
      • Controller issues
      With the Inmotion RS:
      • Fold Locking Mechanism
      • Height Adjust challenge
      • Range deficiency
      • Awkward Weight
      • Less Performance
      The choice will depend on what the Rider is willing to put up with.
      If you're more of an off-road guy, then the Wolf King GTR is more of the right fit between the two, if your more of a City Rider then the Inmotion is more of a right fit of the two.
      Your needs will factor in more than anything... considering Portability, riding style, experience and use preference.

    • @SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan
      @SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan  Год назад

      Hey @charlesholmes912... thanks for Visiting Scootopia.
      There can be several reasons for this wobble. It should be stable at 54mph and with the kaabo Wolf Steering Damper, it will be even more stable.
      The first troubleshoot is:
      • Tires
      Do your tires have proper
      inflation?
      • Is there any damage to the
      Tires or Rims?
      The second troubleshoot is:
      • Is the fold locking Mech
      properly fastened, loose or
      Shimmy when shook?
      If you have any or all of these issues, then you can remedy by inflating Tires to proper psi, swapping out damaged Rims or Tires and/ putting your Scooter on a platform when ever folding or locking the steering Pole. Then being sure to seat the steering Pole at the totally closed angle, then make sure the Toggle and Barrel Nut goes through the top of the inside bracket, then listen for the barrel Nutt to fall to the bottom position before firmly pushing down the Latch, turning the red lever to the bottom (@6:30), and placing the locking pin.
      Then consider getting the KWK GT PRO Steering Damper.

      The general rule is to never max charge for storing, and never let it go below 20%. Keeping it at 67% is healthy.
      Check it every month to see where it is and when it gets to 40%, then charge it back to 67%, and that's it to maintaining your Battery for stored electric scooters

    I'll stick to my Wolf king GT pro. It doesn't set 12 foot off the ground. Why would I spend 8 or $900 more than what I paid for mine? When that 1 runs the same speed? And gets the same distance. Oh, but look, you get a removable battery and shock absorbers. That and return makes it way too tall. They finally got a suspension. But they also thought it was a Jeep.

      Hey @TheBikeGuy3852... thanks for visiting Scootopia.
      The Wolf King GT Pro is a great Scooter but it is not the same speed as the GTR.
      There are a lot of improvements on the GTR that makes it stand out but I still say it is mainly for those who go Off Roading.
      There are many up grades that make it more improved like: The new Trigger Throttle, The more powerful Controller, The replaceable Rim, The new Lighting (drck turn signals), the 12" Tires, The Suspension, and to some, the Removable Battery. It gets a true +65mph and the GT Pro up to 60mph.

That would be simple to put on the King if someone choses too, Just didn't point out the other stuff, that I can not see the price difrence in that. But I do agree it will be a better off road vehicle, still for me a wast of money, other then me needing to modify the rear suspension the gt king pro is great. Thanks for posting the review.

    Kaabo completely lost me with that ridiculous ride height, I'm not fond of the trigger throttle either. The removable battery just looks like it's asking to get stollen (and that's a pricy battery) having that joke of a 3 digit lock! I do like the 12" hybrid tires though, and that they addressed many of the known issues with the GT.

      I'm just shocked they still didn't address the tinted lighting! And I guess we'll see what the market thinks of the "Bigfoot" edition of the WK. I have to believe the vast majority of potential buyers for this scooter will use it almost exclusively on the streets. If they wanted a focused off-road scooter, why not ship with knobby tires? This scooter has an identity crisis IMO!@@SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan

      @@ssoffshore5111 Well said on the identity crisis.
      I am anxious to see which direction Consumers take with this one. I do believe they will embrace it as THEE OFF ROAD alternative. I could be very wrong though...
      However, like you said the vast majority may be on the streets because it is a powerful machine and super fast. The comfy suspension does not hurt that possibility either. I know it's going to be a successful model because of the no Lag Trigger Throttle, The true boost Controller, The adjustable Hydraulic Coil Suspension in the rear and adjustable Hydraulic Suspension in the front forks.
      Little things like the steering Pole Deck Latch, Kick Stand, Charger and Hybrid 12" Tires are strong enough changes (that actually work well) that will trend on the streets and attract more buyers because of the chatter.

    Something that stuck out to me - although Kaboo push out new models with better performance and more features they seem to be very conservative with design. What I mean is this new GTR is basically identical to their previous models. I can see the argument that the difference between design is among their models (Wolf, Mantis, Skywalker etc) but still I`d expect more substantional changes in design even within the editions of said models. I`m not saying this as a negative tho but as I said it`s just something that came to my mind when I saw this GTR - when I found out Kaabo have a new scooter coming out my first thought was "Oh, I wonder how it`s going too look." and the answer to that question was less or more anticlimactic.

      I do agree with you about these Apple like incremental changes that a lot of these manufactures make to their Scooters. The ONLY people who can change that and force them to do more is WE the Consumer. We keep buying these Scooters (me included, I've bought 40 Power Beast Scooters to date and is the ONLY PEV RUclipsr who buys ALL his Scooters) even though the Company isn't making adequate changes or even listening to us.

      Hey @Sicillian49... thanks for visiting Scootopia.
      You're right these amazing two wheeled Electric powered machines expensive. Even the cheapest chinese fashioned Scooters (I know most of them are MADE in China but the ones made with the cheapest components are the rushed Chinese fashioned) are becoming more expensive.
      As technology improves in the next five years we will unfortunately experienced the associated rise in cost and I predict that after that eleotonic period on our planet we will see a balancing out of the pricing that makes owning PEVs (especially Scooters) more affordable and dialed in with the most NEEDED features and not WANTED features (like standardized Waterproofing, Self healing Tires, innovative BMS, Self Cooling Controllers, better Wiring, Safer - lighter - longer lasting Batteries, uniform Deck Management, Vented Thicker Rotors, ergonomically correct Throttles, Safer Brakes, Headlight, front and rear facing visible Turn Signals, Tail Light, Brake Light, Horn and Solid Packaging • "we NEED these things on every Scooter")
      Once ALL Manufacturers land on delivering those as standard components then the price will become standar with the design differentiating each brand and unit.

      @SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan  10 месяцев назад +1

      Hey @1vicious1... thank you for Visiting Scootopia.
      Actually 10" wheels are tinier and has been proven more dangerous. The smaller the wheel the more unsafe it is. So it goes without saying, that 9" 8" 7" wheels would be even tinier and thus more unsafe than 10" wheels.
      The wheels on the GTR are slightly under 12" and any wheel over 11" in the Electric Scooter Space becomes more stable at higher speeds, less subseptible to succumbing to adverse road conditions (ie: cracks in the road, divids, or small bumps etc).
      There are Scooters with 13" wheels that even offer more stability, comfort and safety but of course you loose some speed aspects.
      The Dualtron X Brand has proven the safety, comfort and stability of their 12" wheel over and over with each new iteration of the Scooter. They are on their 3rd and BEST iteration (The Dualtron X Limited) and it has surpassed everyone's expectations with even better, and more improved safety, comfort and performance for its size. Thus replacing my previous favorite eScooter (Dualtron X2) and becoming my favorite High Power Performance Scooter of the 43 Power High Performance Hyper Scooters I've purchased to date.
      You have to jump on and ride a few eScooters at 10", 11" 12" and 13" aspect ratios, then leave your thoughts from a more experienced based context. Only when you Ride each referenced sized tire... will you be able to truly appreciate a 12" tire on an Electric Scooter, especially a High Performance Hyper Power Scooter. These things are lotsa fun and very dangerous in the wrong hands. So I suggest you take it slow when experimenting with any High Performance HyperScooter. Get to know it before advancing any settings (especially speed).

    • @SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan
      @SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan  Год назад

      Hey @elliotalderson9945... thanks for Visiting Scootopia.
      Make no mistake Elliot... The Dualtron Brand is still very relevant and will lead most Scooters for ions of time. No Mfgr does power and speed as clean and solid as the purveyors, the actual inventors of The Dual Motor Scooter (MiniMotors). Yes MiniMotors is the Company responsible for bringing power and speed to the Industry and they have led that charge gracefully up 'til this day. I know people don't like the SquareWave Controllers and they are not for everyone. Most Dualtron lovers are extreme eNthusiasts with a lot of HyperScooter Ride experience and they love the torque, power and speed of the Dualtron SquareWave but we cannot ever discount the standing, history and earned position at the top for Dualtron if we're honest.
      Now, as for the NAMI and Wolf King GTR... I think the GTR comes out with a consistent slight edge over the NAMI, and definitely is much more stable than the NAMI without any steering Damper Buddy.
      Right now Michael has his hands full with a lot of safety issues with the NAMI Brand. He's working through them but things have not been resolved yet, so we won't get that SAFE chance to put them head to head.
      I have bought all nine of Kaabo's Wolf Brand Scooters and every hyper NAMI on the market. I'm very familiar with both Models very much. I have also bought 19 Dualtron Power Beast Scooters. To Date, I have purchased, ridden, tested and worked on over 40 Power Beast Hyper Scooters (the ONLY PEV RUclipsr who buys ALL his Scooters to Review, and I have bought more Power Scooters than any Private Consumer in The World)
      I still believe this Wolf King GTR will become the leader in OFF ROAD thrills. There's nothing like it and it will only get better IMPO from here on out.
