I agree he is much further along in terms of all-around fundamentals than Mgbako was when he arrived in Bloomington. We are fortunate that his father devoted a lot of time and attention to teaching him about the game. Mgbako did not learn how to play defense until he got to IU. Tucker also seems to be a better ball handler. His jump shot skills are extremely impressive and (in my view) are what sets him apart from most players his age. He can really knock down those mid-range shots, whether it's a pull-up, fadeaway, or turnaround. I hope he's not a one-and-done, but I think you (and the scouts) are right: B-Tuck is NBA material. The sky is the limit for this young man.
Great pickup this guy seems like he’s really mature for his age and it shows. This team needs leadership and I think he fits well see who else they get?
I do like what I hear from this guy and his clips look good. With his game though it will only materialize at IU if we can get shooters to space the floor! This is a start, but Woody has a lot of work to do. I am hoping that Hickman is the next addition. Good shooter and grew up in Bloomington! Must have in my opinion.
Yeah you’re right we need 2-3 great 3 pt shooter .40 or better or this team will be doomed again. Teams pack the lane and dared us all year was pathetic. Essigian is another guy I like
I would really like to get Essegian too. It sounds like there is mutual interest between him and Michigan. That seems like a perfect fit with Dusty May.
@@IndianaSportsConnection Yes he is. Dusty will recruit for need and create a really good culture at Michigan. Good players will want to play for him and play hard for him.
Fundamentals do look good. He seems to know how to move without the ball. Before seeing the footage you shared, I was hoping for Oladipo 2, but doesn't look to have the same explosiveness. Keep up the good work. Editing getting better with each video.
Just another reason why we had to fire the coach and make the change. I will tell you that from just recently I talked to some people at Louisville that kinda changed my entire opinion about Dusty I will talk about that in my next video. I still really like Dusty but…
@IndianaSportsConnection yea, I've been attacked on fb for saying Woodson should have been fired and got Dusty. I had someone call me a toxic fan, and that's why Dusty didn't want to go to Louisville . I told the idiot that I didn't care about Louisville. That I wasn't a Louisville fan.. these Karen's are ridiculous
Everyday I hear it more people calling me racist and whatever else. I mean analytical is the word they are reaching for but can’t seem to get it to their lips. One guy just left a comment saying how stupid we must all feel since he got that recruit. These people are crazy to not see the problems with the coaching and style of play. Alabama in the final 4 they shot 36 3’s in that game. I’m not saying we go that far but cmon our coach said it’s not his job to get kopp shots
Congratulations to Woody for signing a talented high school star. Bryson appears to be a fundamentally sound player but fans may need to be patient as he will not be 18 until July 5. Physically the Big 10 might be a challenge for him. We'll have to wait and see if Bryson can have a great impact during the 2024/25 season. With the NBA throwing millions at teenagers I understand why they jump to be pros. I like that Bryson is a high school recruit but if all goes well at IU, he probably will not be a Hoosier for more than 2 years. That's ok. I get it.
Absolutely and whenever I hear reclassify in high school I think of lander who was way out of his league as a player from the start. I hope he can put some of that weight 15 lbs on would make a huge difference for him. Finally something good to talk about!
@@IndianaSportsConnection Yes, Lander is a kid who went to college a year earlier than he should have. He will not be 22 until August 9 of this year. I believe Tucker is both more mentally and physically capable at the same age than Lander. We'll find that out next Fall.
Purdue's current starting guards were scrawnier than Bryson when they started as freshmen (and they're still pretty skinny). Granted, Bryson is a forward, so he's going to need to bulk up some to deal with some of the hulks he's likely to face near the basket.
Keep Mike’s back against the wall. Sorry Mike but we are going to have to keep the heat on. Apparently our stupid comments have an affect on you so it will continue.

Very true has better footwork and has a good looking shot
anytime you can get a recruit that kansas and duke wanted its a win period
Yeah we nabbed him from the powers in place
Momentum is swinging in our favor. I think we will get more commits soon
I sure hope that happens

They got a good one here. Your right he seems wise beyond his years!
2 out of the last 3 schools he attended he quit on the team before the season ended.
@@Cooliewhistles doesn't sound great but I haven't any real info about what happened there and why they made those decisions but good point here
Def Talented kid but tbd on how it will play out.
The Hoosiers are back!!!!
Oh yeah!!!
Watched his highlights and there's no showboating, bragging or any of that mess
Yeah he looks really fundamental and sound with the ball for sure
Bryson is 17 and may grow an inch or two
I’m 41 and still telling people that as well haha that is definitely a possibility didn’t pippen grow like a foot his freshman year
If he doesn't, he may wind up as a shooting guard in the NBA.
Good pickup! We need players that can score and take the ball and drive.
Yes he looks as he will be ready right away really like his fundamental type play we lack that big time last year
Great pickup
Yes it is

Finally, some good news. Nice screensaver.
Yeah like to finally get something positive. It’s not Indiana but more farm like haha good suggestion
I like him alot
Heck yeah great pickup here glad we got some good news
Kid is money around 7-12 ft
That’s what I like that he LOOKs at least that he can knock down a jump shot we saw very little of that this year good shooting
We need better spacing and with his midrange game that's going to help spread the floor, along with Newton. We're going to be alright
Yeah for sure how it’s looking now we will be able to space the floor better we shall see looks great right now for sure

He does seem to be a smart player like that Thank you appreciate the kind words working on getting better editing at all times
Dusty has reached out to Liam McNeely. If IU would have went and got Dusty, Liam probably would have stayed committed to IU

That is true he reacts when the heat is on like during the season when he made so many bone head moves
