They aren't Dwarves, they're Mer. What you mean to say is that while Mer were creating civilizations MAN were using buckets as toilets. All the Mer races were more advanced than man. Especially the Altmer who gave all of Tamriel it's culture.
For the most powerful race in Tameriel, the Dwemer sure left behind some of the crappiest loot ever.... The hell am I supposed to do with all these crappy bowls, cups and gears??
I mean They probably would have all their best equipment on them so when they do become immortal They could slay all who opposed them Except they were transported to another plane instead... Stupid Genie Heart... (Lorkhan's Heart)
"Falmer" doesn't mean "betrayed". "Falmer" means Snow Elf. Fal = Snow, Mer = Elf. "The Betrayed" is what Knight-Paladin Gelebor calls them because that's what the Dwemer/Dwarves did to the ancient Snow Elves.
Agreed, and I would go even further to say the even calling them betrayed is a stretch as there is evidence that the Falmer gave up their freedom and their vision willingly for protection from the Atmorans. Read the translation of Calcelmo's Stone in Markarth (Nchuand-zel). The fifth stanza says, "We only request you partake of the symbol of our bond, the fruit of the stones around us." The sixth stanza says, "And as your vision clouds, as the darkness sets in, fear not." It's carved in Dwemeris and Falmeris. Why would the Dwemer bother to carve the Falmaris? I believe the stone it'self represents a pact/contract, literally set in stone, that was made before the Falmer were 'turned'.
@@_cul8r_ True, though they had little choice. The vengeful Nords were going to eradicate them entirely; either they let the Dwemer enslave them or die.
superluismigueL100 It could be Elderscrolls 14 for all we care. Since every Elderscrolls Game seem to have more or less turned around a Country inside the Imperial Empire, there are a few Countries left before ; ) but since "the Dwemer" are more less with us everytime - even tough only in the Form of Ruins and so on - i think it wouldn't be s~ooo bad if we had to wait for about 20 Years or more. Only the shortlived among us will be fucked, in Terms of a Human Life. xD
So the Dwemer just blinked out of existence? Just like that. Just like... Alduin. What if in TES VI, the Dwemer return to Tamriel and wage war with their advanced machinery?
What if it was the last ES game in Tameriel? Like, the Dwemer return to Tameriel to invade and take it over. The protagonist can stop them for good, or join them. After the game, Bethesda can move on to Akavir. EDIT: Because of the same reason the dwarves are back, the snow elves would be too, and there would be a ark with them and all, but they'd be neutral, also making them a playable race.
I really hope the next Elder Scrolls game will have the Dwemer returning to Tamriel and you have to either join them or fight them, it would be awesome. :D
Watching this guy's videos isn't a good way either. He has so much wrong all the time. Check out The Imperial Library if you want to know more. It's the best site for lore.
Go to imperial-library.info and read the texts. That's how you learn the lore. Uesp is a good starting point too. This video is full of misinformation, take it with a grain of salt.
"How could you get rid of an entire species of Skyrim right?" well, considering Skyrim is about 2km by 2km in size, and the biggest "city" has about 30 buildings in it, shouldn't be too difficult! You could run into all of Skyrim's inhabbitants within a week :P
Skyrim is actually much bigger, it's about the size of Poland. Tamriel is about 1.4 times the size of Alaska. The reason it is smaller in game is because of technical limitations, and it would be fucking annoying if you had to walk for three hours just to go from Riverwood to whiterun
darky True, it's much better sized in Daggerfall. By the way, i just picked up and started playing that game from uesp .com. awesome. so deep and HUGE!
wanst an entire species, near entire 1 survived and there has been word of them all being absorbed in to the artificial skin of their god they created when lorkans heart was used
Falmer does not mean betrayed... "mer" is elvish for "elf", and Fal is "snow".... the last of the snowelves who remained an elf calles his deformed kin "the betrayed".. even though they are still falmer. also, sunder, wraithguard, and keening all appear in morrowind..
Was looking for this ."The Betrayed" was stated by the paladin . Even the Aldmeris reconized snow elves as falmer even before they evolve into such creatures .
No, they also want to kill gods, I think. But yeah that's all. I mean it's no big deal, two of the elder scrolls protagonists became immortal, two killed gods, all three recent ones have beaten gods into submission, one resisted the side effects of a disease that has irresistible side effects, one became a god, one went to hell and back multiple times, one fought and won against a person so powerful that a god couldn't kill him without you weakening him (miraak). What I'm saying is that killing gods and becoming immortal is normal shit at this point
I mean... becoming immortal is pretty tame when you compare them to for example the Thalmor, who basically want to erase existence to transcend the Altmer to the divine.
Gods in elder scrolls are not entirely immortal. You just have to punch them hard enough. I think that was what the Dwemer understood, while the Chimer were ass kissing the Daedra.
+Tajemnicza Osoba yeah but that's not the point, comparing a cannon to a gun is like comparing a catapult to a sword ( bear with me here). While the cannon might do more damage but its use is limited while a gun can be useful in many different ways ( especially when used in numbers). Also side note I'm glad Bethesda decided to stay away completely from "steam guns" or whatever they would think of, the idea of a type of gun being legit kinda ruins ES feel ( a world where instead of technological advancement happened they have magic instead, and how that effects them.
there actully the same thing why do you thing in destiny pistols are called hand cannons? cuase they are cannons all guns are cannons just smaller and more mobile.
i got hacked lololol nic sucks again no, that's like saying a 200 dollar car is the exact same thing as a indie 500 racing car, they might be car but they are definitely not the same thing and do not serve the same purposes. I mean that's why they call them race cars, they are in a league of their own like cannons, cannons are in the artillery group comparable to trebuchet, catapults and portable mortars
their robots technically had guns, they had crossbows and the definition of a gun is a weapon incorporating a metal tube from which bullets, shells, or other missiles are propelled by explosive force, typically making a characteristic loud, sharp noise.
Jesus, man... your videos are filled with a ridiculous amount of lore. I'm highly impressed. I came into the series in Oblivion so hearing about all the particular webs and plots that weave throughout the entire rost of games is just awesome... definitely great to listen to.
I love the Dwemer, they remind me of all the lost civilizations of Earth. I would love to see an Elder Scrolls game based on them for sure. That might remove their mystery which would kind of suck, but anyway I still want a Dwemer game.
I would like an ES game where the Dwemmer return from another dimension or something and you have to fight them. They would have all sorts of futuristic techonology, I think it would be interesting.
I have an interesting idea for Elder Scrolls VI. The Falmer get organized and attack. The Dwemer also return, and are determined to kill all the Falmer. You can also play as both races. It's like Dawnguard: you either join the Falmer and destroy the surface world, or join the Dwemer and wipe out the Falmer for good. Would you like to see that? I do plan to send the idea to Bethesda, but I don't have a place. Where do you think this should be? It should be somewhere that they haven't already been: Elsweyr, BlackMarsh, Hammerfell, or the Summerset Isles.
Hammerfell would be nice, but it wouldn't support the lore on Dwemer and Falmer, since they are natives of Skyrim. If some modder would like to make that questline, it'd be awesome. But yeah, next TES should take place in Hammerfell, since it's not part of the empire. There would be pretty nice guerilla-like feeling, which I really did enjoy in Skyrim while siding with the Stormcloaks.
alkhemisti1923 I shouldn't have put Hammerfell in the list, because it was in Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall. The true list is: Elsweyr, Valenwood, the Summerset Isles, or Black Marsh.
^^ i love that question/joke; i've always assumed/hoped that upon His death the Daedric princes would get into a huge fight/pissing match on who'd get to own his soul. It always made me chuckle whenever i dealt with them "SURE you can have my soul; get in line lel"
I haven't checked every god out but unless they trap his soul somewhere as he dies, it will belong to the twilight scepulter or whatever it's called, as an agent when he dies his soul appears there. The others claim his soul but have no way of actually taking it other than making nocturnal or whatever she's called give it to them.
You know how you absorb dragon souls in the game? Well, my guess would be that the daedric princes all get a dragon soul, but the last dragonborn's soul would go to sovngarde. This is based off of a theory where the last Dragonborn is a mortal reincarnation of Shor, which is why he would go to sovngarde instead of one of the daedric realms.
Or if that theory is incorrect, the last dragonborn's soul would probably go to hircine, seeing as after the companions you are a werewolf and you do a daedric quest for hircine.
My theories on how the Dwemer are alive 1. Lost in time : the game tells us multiple times about how multiple things have been lost in time or simply dissappeared to never be heard from again considering they did have an Elder Scrolls who knows ? 2. The Dwemer achieved godhood or are trapped on another plane of existence they were messing with powerful artifacts and either regretted it or achieved everything they set out for
It's likely they might have been sent to another plane of existence, maybe somewhere in Oblivion but who knows, reason I'm thinking they were sent somewhere else is you could conjure one of their machines to fight for you. So if you could do that then it's likely they are somewhere in another dimension or just lost in time
Sad, I mean it really does surprise me that nobody has done this yet? I mean it seems like all you have to do is take a random elf of choice and slap a beard on there.
As most of us know the Dwemer and the Chimer had a long rivalry fueled by their different opinions on the Gods. It's no coincidence that the Chimer turned into the Dunmer around the same time the Dwemer vanished. Maybe through the Dwemer's great understanding of magic and machinery they somehow infused their mortal bodies with the Chimer in an attempt to ascend to a higher plain of existence during their war with the Chimer. Perhaps their creation of the Brass God and Kagrenac's tools is what gave them the power to infuse their mortal bodies. During their final battle with the Chimer they had no choice but to use Kagrenac's tools on the heart of Lorkhan, then in that instance the Dwemer infused with the closest race within proximity to the heart, the Chimer. During the infusion the Chimers gold skin took on the appearance of the Dwemer's skin and that's how we got today's Dunmer. Sense their mortal bodies are now bound to another race in the mortal plain it maybe somehow allowed the Dwemer to bend the mortal plain to their will and thus grant their souls the ability to transcend other realms of existence. Maybe the Dwemer programmed their machinery to protect and maintain their strongholds as a contingency plan in case the spell wore off and the Dunmer reformed back into the Chimer and the Deep Ones reappeared back in the mortal plain. I know that according to history the Chimer got the ash skin as punishment from Azura for using Kagrenac's tools on the heart of Lorkhan, but maybe the Dwemer actually had something to do with it. Maybe they finally out smarted the Gods, perhaps the whole thing was orchestrated beautifully by the Dwemer and it was all planned from the very beginning. It's possible that Azura was embarrassed about being outsmarted by the Dwemer and feared what her followers and other Daedra Lords would think of her having no control over what happened to her own Chimer followers, and so she pretended to cast a curse on the Chimer race in an effort to preserve her status as a Daedric Prince. Another theory is that we know the Dwemer wanted to reach ascension and be one with their new creation Numidium. What if the Dwemer never actually disappeared? What if their souls and essence were transferred into their machines and creations as a result of a curse put on them for playing god? Maybe they’re still on Nirn but as the robotic guardians of their ruins. That would explain the soul gems you find in the Dwemer machines. Perhaps Arkay, the god of the cycle of birth and death, became angry with the Dwemer because they sought ascension and immortality. As punishment Arkay could have trapped the Dwemer race inside the immortal machines they created thus ultimately granting their wish to become immortal alongside their creation Numidium. Imprisoning them in their own ungodly robotic creations and forcing them to remain on Nirn for eternity would be the ultimate punishment for all the blasphemy the Dwemer race had committed over the years.
I was thinking.. What if all the soul gems the Dwemer robots use actually contain the souls of all the Dwemer who disappeared? I don't know how I feel about this theory 0_0
+Midnight_Phantom - Honestly, I see the Dwemer using the Falmer for that purpose; they were a cruel race. I can see them soul-trapping the dead slaves.
You forgot to mention that the Dwemer race was divided at the time when the Chimer War occured, and the Heart was used. The Skyrim Dwemer considered The Morrowind Dwemer rivals. Now, none of this from here on is canon, but here's my theory; The Skyrim Dwemer used their Elder Scroll to banish the Dwemer race into the future, the same way Alduin was banished. Like you said, they could read the Scrolls long before anyone else, and without any danger of going blind. They would have known that it was possible to do something like that using the scroll. Now, consider the circumstances of the time period; The Skyrim Dwemer were beset by the Nords, and the Falmer Uprising. Their kingdom was collapsing around their ears. To the east, their cousins who they probably arent happy with, considering they've long been at odds, have found the Heart of Lorkhan and are finishing up Numidium. They are bragging that it will allow them to transcend the gods and make them all powerful. To the Skyrim Dwemer, they probably asked themselves; why would their rivals share this triumph with them? If it were them, they would lord it over their enemies, and possibly enslave them like they had enslaved the Falmer. More likely, the Morrowind Dwemer would use this new advantage to the detriment of the Skyrim Dwemer. A solution may have been devised; a way to not only save their kingdom from the falmer and Nords, and to stop their rivals from gaining an unbeatable edge; Banish the Dwemer into a time in the far future. Think about it; A chimer army would be left in possession of Numidium, with no idea how to use it properly. The Skyrim Dwemer may have relied on that and hope it would be destroyed. I mean, cmon. It isnt hard to harness the Heart; three random generals managed to become living gods with no basic understanding of it, and Tiber Septim was able to use it to conquer Tamriel. Are we to believe that the artisans of Numidium would make the mistake of causing their entire race to just vanish?
MrGames010 they were losing 2 wars; against the nords and the falmer. They could have used the scroll on their entire race. For one, to stop their rivals, and also to save their kingdom from collapse
Whoa...I always liked playing as the Dark Elf, and I was curious what happened, but what surprised me the most is that the fact that the Dark Elves had a past with the Dwemer.
There was only one Numidium and one copy, the Akulakhan. What Tiber Septim used was the Numidium, but without the original power source, the Heart of Lorkhan. What it used instead was effectively a beefed up black soul gem (though it was described as being green) that housed the soul of the undead lich known as the Underking. Also the one distinct size given for the Numidium was given in-game via letter puts the Numidium at a thousand feet tall. For a sense of scale, the most recent incarnation of Godzilla (also the largest) tops out at 150 meters or about 492 feet. That's right, the largest Godzilla out there falls just short of being half as high as the Numidium. Also turning the damn thing on fubared the space-time continuum for a bit. Also heard something about it blowing up the world to fix time or some shit. TES lore is labrynthine as fuck
Jusey1 From what I remember was, the Underking getting ahold of the Mantella (the soul gem) and destroying it is what finally did the Numidium in. And since noone has the skills of the dwemer, it can't be resurrected again, which is why Vagoth was creating the much scaled down Akulakhan. As it is, I think the heart of Lorkhan disappeared after those events. I think like the Elder Scrolls, it can't be destroyed. Makes sense though.
OW B. The concept of Dragon Breaks hurts my brain. I mean, I understand the central concept, all of the possible outcomes of a certain important event happen at once. But, why does Akatosh/Auri-el do this? And, how do the Breaks do this? I know that Akatosh/Auri-el can do whatever in Oblivion he wants, seeing as he is the prime deity, and the time god.
***** the one elder scrolls god the one from the dragonborn dlc i cant remember his name but hes in all those black books Rezz Atrana couldhv been like hey ill tell u how to make it if u serve me and blah blah all the other god stuff XD
drakeheart20 also when u think about since the dwemer in skyrim were rivals with the ones at morrowind maybe they knew they would be banished in a attempt to save themselves they did what i posted earlier seems more convenient given the circumstances and the state they were in and as well as why the falmer fight the dwemer machines and all :)
i have a theory that maybe instead of traveling to a plan of immortality they infact traveled through time similar to what happened to alduin. Perhaps later down the line they will reappear in another game
The developer is very careful about what to made canon, so they have the room to change things around down the line. All of the pieces of lore in the Elder Scrolls universe are told through unreliable sources.
Nazim zanim Sure, i know the saying. "c0da makes everything canon", but you have to realize that c0da itself isn't canon. A lot of people accept it as canon, a lot of people don't. All i can say is that bethesda never confirmed it.
Great series you have here. One small correction, Falmer basically translates to Snow Elf, not the Betrayed. That was just Gelebor's name for them. Still, though, this is made of pure awesomeness.
Coldsteak I really liked the dragon born dlc that took place in Solsteim. The environment was fresh and so was the lore. I would definitely be open to elder scrolls 6 taking place north east of skyrim.
A convict in a potato sack who’s a gifted acrobat escapes the dragon attack at Helgen by wall-running a crumbling tower and a mountainside, prances through a bandit ambush, assaults a hunter, steals his horse, bends the horse into a catapult that launches him precisely to Riften’s docks, punches the first guard in the face, goes to jail, serves his sentence, sells a magic dagger to a blacksmith, walks into the first bar he sees, buys a magical amulet of marriage, hires the first mercenary mage he sees, proposes marriage to him (he said yes!), walks outside, plans the wedding, takes a romantic trip to the ruins of Helgen with his fiancé, returns to Riften, goes to the church, and gets married.
This video is absolutely amazing, it makes me want to try my hand at ESO again :D I really do hope we get more information on the Dwemer in the next game, I've always had a massive affinity for them
The Dwemer are most likely still alive. The guy in Morthal that helps you cure sanguinare vampiris says he's met the Dwemer amongst other things. Perhaps they actually did become immortal in their own separate world.
The only problems are: he could have traveled to Vvardenfel and met Yagrum, the only Dwemer still alive due to corprus disease; and Vivec, who has the power of the heart of Lorkhan and has achieved CHIM says he doest not feel the dwemer anywhere in existence. P.S:.*I also believe that the dwemer are still alive*
I think this is the most interesting time in lore history and I would really like to see it made playable either a stand alone game of dlc time travel flashback. I think in a stand alone game the concept of being Dwemer and the "Hero" charged with trying to stabilize/resolve the conflict to save your race but not being able to do so no matter what you do would be an amazing storyline showing that you cant always have a happy ending.
A thought that struck me now while watching this again is, what if the reason the dwemer disappeared was because of the divine's intervention? That they were banished as the divine might have felt threatened by the increasing power and technology that the dwemer created. Might be a stretch so its more so a food for thought
one theory I have found most interesting is the heart transported the dwemer to Aetherius, the gods refused to allow them to return because they believed no mortal should have the power to travel to and from Aetherius
i know this is a late comment but i just wanted to say that you are awesome at making lore videos and they sound like a real documentary. really well-made, entertaining content. i really wish the new elder scrolls would just come out already because i would love to watch more of your lore videos on it
The explanation in morrowind is that the armor is made up of robot pieces. Check the looks of that armor, instead of the overall pretty looks of skyrim
+LordAnestis the last living dwarf was in the original morrowind game. That game is basically all about the history of the dwemer since the main story is directly involved with their doings. (the original morrowind has the best and deepest story of the games so far)
Also, the Dragonborn DLC implies the Dwarven automatons are sentient to at least some degree. The CSlist's notes for the Dwarven spider and sphere claims they make "happy" hisses when told to follow the player character and "disappointed" hisses when told he/she doesn't fancy having a bucket of scrap metal following him/her around. I hope more automaton followers are included in future games.
Lol the Dwemer were like the Germans of the nazi era. They had the best technology, the most cruel and ruthless and discovered a lot of things before the rest of the world.
A game set in the Myrethic Era would be cool we could play as a character who was forgotten to time almost like a ghost but witnessed all kinds of things.
Next elder scroll game should be about the dwemmer getting revived/returning. It would place in both morrowind and skyrim. The brass God would fulfill his final task and revive the dwemmer from where they were banished to, since it is hypothesized that the brass God could leap from different dimensions. After which the dwemmer construct a new army with the help of a few Deadra lords. The protagonist (you) would have to somehow travel to the Aetheral plane and recruit the help of some Aedra divines. Leading up to a huge war in Soverngarde, where dead heroes and villains of of each era of Tamerial pick sides to assist.
As much as we would all like to see the big reveal of what really happened to the Dwemer, is it not the whole mystery and wonder of the unknown that makes the Dwemer so interesting in the first place?
The dwarves must’ve made a pact with Hermaeus Mora with all their advanced knowledge, and technology. And somehow it connects with the black book that was hoarded in a dwarven dungeon in Solsthiem. And also the Oghma Infinium sealed in a giant dwemer box.
A new Elder Scrolls involving the return of the Dwemer would be great, but personally I DON'T want it if it involved the Dwemer just being evil and trying to take over Tamriel for no apparent reason. Evil empire taking over the world for no apparent reason? Hate it. The Dwemer aren't machines, they're still 'people', and I see no reason why an entire civilization would be hell-bent on conquest to the point that every single encounter you had with them would be fight-or-flight. That would be a poor Elder Scrolls game. The way I would LOVE for the Dwemer to return is the way they disappeared: INSTANTANEOUSLY. Just imagine, out of the thin air, every single Dwemer that disappeared just magically reappeared in all their ruins across Tamriel, doing whatever they were doing the second they disappeared all those centuries ago. Imagine the chaos of having an entire technologically-advanced race appear OUT OF NOWHERE in the middle of Tamriel's other political squabbles. The Dwemer, a new superpower potentially rivalling the Imperials/Dominion, would be completely clueless with regards to current events, so the myriad factions of Tamriel would probably try to sway them to their own selfish agendas, tearing the old morals of this old but advanced civilization apart. This new plot could also involve the return of the Psijic Order and the Isle of Artaeum (also mysteriously instantly, just like they did in the First Era), returned to investigate the circumstances of the Dwemer's sudden disappearance and reappearance. However, factions would exist in both the Psijics and the Dwemer: some of the Dwemer just want to re-integrate into society peacefully, while some want to retake (possibly by force) their old lands and bases from scavengers, and return the old Dwemer empire to its former glory. Conversely, the Psijics, normally united in whatever schemes they delve in, all agree that this mystery should be solved; however, they begin to disagree with each other in the methods of solving it. Some members use their powers to investigate and find information by any means they think necessary (often ending in violence behind the scenes), while some prefer to simply observe and question willing Dwemer. This disorder in both factions could potentially spur 3 wars: a civil war within the newly appeared Dwemer, broad swathes of skirmishes between Dwemer and Tamriel ruin-occupiers/raiders and a political 'Cold War' of behind-the-scenes subterfuge among the Psijics. You, as magic-prophecy-character, would aim to resolve these disputes and bring peace back to Tamriel. Additionally and preferably, you would have the choice to create a Dwemer character, which would alter the way the game reacts to your later actions. This would be an interesting way to bring back the Dwemer (and potentially the Psijics), but not as evil one-offs like Bethesda basically made the Aldmeri Dominion into (which I hated SO much).
This has to be one of my favorite videos ever. It explains so much lore behind the dwarves. My favorite part though, has to be Rhexx butchering Dwemer city names in the most hilarious way. At least he is trying.
Falmer were snow elves who were betrayed into making a deal which cost them their sight... there are only two snow elves in skyrim ...and the dragonborn must kill one
I reckon the Dwemer became the Dremora, if I was to quote a book from a game it stated "They belong to the Daedra but that was not always so." (Pretty sure it was just called "Daedra" or something). It was quite vague, just one line. Lorkhan was pretty much the first Daedric Prince, so it would make sense that fiddling with his heart banished the Dwemer to Oblivion. (Lorkhan was made by the energy of Sithis/Panema/Whatever you want to call it. It was Sithis' answer to fighting the spirits that formed in Aetherius) The fact that information is so vague and they vanished after tampering with the Lorkhan's heart simply adds up that some Daedric influence is involved in their disappearance. Given the heritage of Lorkhan and all. I mean, look at Dremora. They're technical geniuses too (You only need to play Oblivion) and a lot of things are very similar. Their elevators for example are the exact same shape and run on the exact same mechanisms (despite them having holes in that stab you if you stand in the centre). The Dwemer already had Daedra characteristics. It stands to be that the Daedra would capitalize on that too.
I sooo frikking love your theory!^^ I'm going to copy paste it on Microsoft Word right away to be able to look at it again alongside the other theories about other things in the Elder Scrolls universe that I already have in that same Microsoft Word file.
Though, there is one thing that doesn't work quite right... Why would the Dwemer, who give so much importance to knowledge over almost everything else, affiliate themselves with the Daedric Prince of Destruction and Change Mehrunes Dagon(since the Dremora are affiliated with Dagon). If they really had to go with a Daedric Prince, then wouldn't Hermaeus Mora suit the Dwemer better? I do not think that their mentality would change so radically even under Lorkhan's Daedric influence, considering that most Daedric Princes are not evil and that Lorkhan himself definitely wasn't evil, as he did sacrificed himself to create Mundus and the mortals inhabiting it.
sancturillore Well, it seems like one of the only viable theories from what is currently known (nothing). They use machines to conquer, they have similar building techniques to the Dwemer and they began tampering with an artifact of the first Daedra. It'd make a good little plot twist, in my opinion but I doubt we'll ever know. Nobody but the Falmer can prove Dremora were originally Dwemer and last time I checked, Falmer are blind and brainless.
sancturillore They didn't affiliate themselves with just one Prince. If we were to take Dragonborn DLC, do you or do you not get the perk to have a Dremora Butler from Mora? That would suggest they're simply tools of the Daedra, correct? You could say Vaermina owns Spider Daedra, Pyrite owns Daedroth and such... None of them own any of them, they're simply tools. Which adds more reason to believe they'd enslave the Dwemer. Lorkhan didn't sacrifice himself however. He was a construct made from Sithis' energy to counter the spirits of Aetherius that were running rampant. The spirits were conciousness that had morals. They could choose to be evil or good, as they were made from both the energy of Sithis and (I can't remember the name... The energy Sithis crashed into). Malacath was the one who slew Lorkhan and bound his corpse on Mundus. Not sure where you read that Lorkhan sacrificed himself, I think you're confusing him with Magnus or the Divines. His affiliation with Sithis made him evil, in a sense. Like most Daedric princes, born of pure energy from Panema. As to the point you bring up about some not being wholly evil. Some of the spirits are born of one energy, Sithis' energy or both. Sheogorath (Jygallag at the time), Meridia, Azura and Mora are the few Daedric Princes that have both energies. Allowing them to have divine or demonic (or both) intentions. The spirits that sacrificed themselves to create Mundus are the 8 Divines (Yes, the elves are right. Talos was mortal). You know them, everyone does. Akatosh, Dibella and such. So yes, the answer to your main point would be that just like Clanfear, Daedroth, Atronarches et cetera are affiliated with all Daedra.
Blackjax137 "The spirits that sacrificed themselves to create Mundus are the 8 Divines (Yes, the elves are right. Talos was mortal). You know them, everyone does. Akatosh, Dibella and such." We know see what side you chose...
Play with a small group of Dwemer who made their way back with the goal of bringing their race back. They could create something to rival the power of the Numidium.
Numidium causes a Dragon Break every time it bloody moves. Activation is like our world using Scorched Earth tactics - yes you'll kill the enemy, but you won't live long afterwards. Fighting it intentionally is suicide.
The dwemer are awesome but I think the next elder scrolls game( or future ES games) should take place on the continent of akavira. I just think that's a bad ass place and not much is know about the climate or the 5 races that inhabit it also the worlds largest dragon lives there, which use to be one of the tiger people but ascended as a dragon king.
As cool as that would be. . .you can't blame them for wanting to use more of this massive amount of lore written for Tamriel. Switching over would be a little unrealistic and would take a little too long, I think.
So, I am going to list all the elves known to me. Add any more that I forgot. Falmer: Snow Elves Altmer: High Elves Dwemmer: Deep Elves Bosmer: Wood Elves Dunmer: Dark Elves Orisimer: ? Elves
+lio INDEX Sorry if I wasn't clear. I know the Orsimer are orcs. But all elf names mean something, like Falmer means Snow Elves, mer meaning elf. So what does Orsi mean? Orsi - ? Mer - Elf
Josh McClure The Ideal Masters? Nothing is known about them because nobody has contacted them. The only two that have had some contact with the Ideal Masters was that old vampire woman and Durnevhiir. Personally, I believe they're just counter balance to power. Every power has something to control it, otherwise they'd run rampant and cause all sorts of power. So, I guess they're just constructs made by the Daedra to keep order in that slither of Oblivion.
Its obvious that you played Morrowind, but did you know that the truth of the disappearance of the Dwemer is actually in Morrowind? Well not exactly, but if you read all the books in the 36 Lessons of Vivec you get some major clues about what actually happened to them if you read between the lines and try to decipher the languge. In the easiest way to describe what happened, Vivec ended up breaking through an unheard of Oblivion realm (our world), killing the player/ creator (not sure of which) and accidentally deleting the files that contained the Dwemer while trying to manipulate the files for Alamexia, Sotha Sil, and himself to become gods. Essentially the reason for the disappearance is due to a complete Forth-wall breaking accident. It pays to read the books in the elder scrolls games
Certainly makes "Many-Headed Talos" look like a weak-by-comparison Deus Ex Machina moment. Then again, Many-Headed Talos was just an afterthought explanation for why Cyrodill no longer looks like the swampy and marshy place from the Pocket Guide to the Empire versus the fantasy cliche we got.
Chibi1986 You also have to remember that before Tiber Septim took the throne it did look like that but after 300+ years of cultivation, civilization, and the age of man rising, the landscape is going to change. Just look at the U.S. places like New Orleans, New York, and Washington D.C. were originally swampy wetlands until being built on. So its not hard to imagine that the whole landscape would change due to civilizations sprouting.
I've been obsessed with the Dwemer for a while now. There has to be a mod or a future game where we can play as them. They have never even appeared in a game yet, but for the little i've learned about them in the first 3 minutes of video, i already love them as my favorite race, fuck Bretons.
Here is a neat looking mod for your dwemer fandom :3 www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34536/?tab=4&&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D34536%26page%3D1%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D962891&pUp=1
I think a great idea for the continuation of the elder scrolls series would be to have Ulfric win the war, and start a war with the remaining elves as he always planned. The priests at high hrothgar inform your character that the elves are all but extinct, after you have chosen to be neutral and live in high hrothgar with the other dragon-born. The main guy who taught you all those shouts then tells you he found evidence to believe the Dwemer are returning as powerful godlike creatures to wipe out all the Nords and the empire. This leaves you to pick up your sword and go help your Stormcloak brothers or Empire as you once did before. There can also be something in which you manage to communicate with Arniel who can give you information on what the Dwemmer are planning next and how you can defeat them
heres something to think upon if the god had been killed but its heart survives do you think that when they put the heart in the brass god could the robot be possesed by the gods soul
Dwarves built robots and destroyed a race while the other races were still using buckets as toilets
That's tonal manipulation for you.
They aren't Dwarves, they're Mer. What you mean to say is that while Mer were creating civilizations MAN were using buckets as toilets. All the Mer races were more advanced than man. Especially the Altmer who gave all of Tamriel it's culture.
If there exists a toilet or bathroom somewhere in Skyrim, I have yet to see it.
A Bucket is a Toilet in Skyrim! Does a Bear shit in the Woods; Yeah they do, but they aren't the only Ones! Dovakinshiit! Chosen One Shit.
@Alexander The Great What's bullshit? It's true.

+TimmyTime ikr
For the most powerful race in Tameriel, the Dwemer sure left behind some of the crappiest loot ever.... The hell am I supposed to do with all these crappy bowls, cups and gears??
melt them into dwarven steel :p then make dwarven armor from it just so you can sell it, stats are too low 4 me.
you can not melt the bowls cups and gears
doug mcdonald what? fairly sure u could've melt the gears at least
You think they would leave they're best stuff?
I mean
They probably would have all their best equipment on them so when they do become immortal
They could slay all who opposed them
Except they were transported to another plane instead...
The vengeful Nords were going to eradicate them entirely; either they let the Dwemer enslave them or die.
anyone laugh every time he tried to pronounce the dwemer ruin names
Yea lol that's why i thought it was funny
I'd would have failed too
He said it so fast I couldnt stop laughing great video though xD
+Katlyn Streight It sounds like he knows how to pronounce them, were they wrong?
me 😂😂😂
God a game based around the collapse of the Dwemer (or preventing it) would be fucking dope.
Hmm.
Skyrim VI: The Dwemer.
I like it. :D
bcmcameron *The Elder Scrolls VI: The Dwemer
bcmcameron You mean Elder scrolls VI
I thought I was the only one who thought this was a good idea!!! Im not alone!

It could be Elderscrolls 14 for all we care. Since every Elderscrolls Game seem
to have more or less turned around a Country inside the Imperial Empire, there
are a few Countries left before ; ) but since "the Dwemer" are more less with us
everytime - even tough only in the Form of Ruins and so on - i think it wouldn't
be s~ooo bad if we had to wait for about 20 Years or more.
Only the shortlived among us will be fucked, in Terms of a Human Life. xD
So the Dwemer just blinked out of existence? Just like that. Just like... Alduin. What if in TES VI, the Dwemer return to Tamriel and wage war with their advanced machinery?
One can only hope, personally that'd be awesome.
Dr. Virus 129 I would love to play as Dwemers
That would be cool, I would love to join the Dwemer.
+Minercomand212 I think anyone would
I guess the Dwarves dug their own hole. *ba dum tsss*
Out.
That joke went straight to DVD
ha since you know they live underground (if i did not get that tell me)

I love how much rhexx gets into his lore videos, hes so enthusiastic
Holy Gaming This video is shit.
Will Johnson Thanks for your random input
Holy Gaming Not random, I can prove it.
Will Johnson uh ok cool? This comment was about his enthusiasm and not the overall quality of the video which is at this point subjective.
There's a guy in Morthal who can cure vampirism... he says he had seen dwemer :P
Really
he has been around for ages..
yeah, he said he saw them as he walked through different planes of existence
Yeah I assume the Dwemer just escaped that plane.
Stańczyk there's also a witch southeast of Cheydinhal who can do the same. That dude just has a God complex.
The city of Batherdulthekcldncjf XD
Madison Sutcliff Also found in Wales.
Haha Beelzibubbles

I wuz heer
I really hope the next Elder Scrolls game will have the Dwemer returning to Tamriel and you have to either join them or fight them, it would be awesome. :D
Or you at least find out what happened to them exactly
Håkon T. That would be super awesome I would love to see that happen !
Håkon T. me too they seem interesting
I think everyone would join them
Id prefer just a revelation and lots of lore about dwemer instead of just focusing on them
These Dwemers sound like an army of Leonardo Da Vinci's who ACTUALLY MADE his creations
...I knew playing only Oblivion and Skyrim isn't enough to understand the lore...

The reason it is smaller in game is because of technical limitations, and it would be fucking annoying if you had to walk for three hours just to go from Riverwood to whiterun
darky
True, it's much better sized in Daggerfall. By the way, i just picked up and started playing that game from uesp .com. awesome. so deep and HUGE!
Blue Phoniex
it's not annoying, look at daggerfall. it's basically the blueprint for PC RPG's with that 60k by 60k suqared map!
+Admiral Mike it's a meme
wanst an entire species, near entire 1 survived and there has been word of them all being absorbed in to the artificial skin of their god they created when lorkans heart was used
Falmer does not mean betrayed...
Good catch man. Cheers,
Keening is also obtainable in Skyrim you forgot to mention that
You can get a mod "tools of kagranec" to obtain whraithgurad and sunder but youll have to go through aylied ruins

"You see, all they want is to be immortal" 10:30
Oh is that all?
No, they also want to "understand magic and technology, surpass it, and surpass the gods"
Gods in elder scrolls are not entirely immortal. You just have to punch them hard enough.
I think that was what the Dwemer understood, while the Chimer were ass kissing the Daedra.
All that technology and they never came up with guns, would have changed everything.
+Cervant Christian They had steam canons...
Them pronunciations are 10/10.
I love the Dwemer, they remind me of all the lost civilizations of Earth. I would love to see an Elder Scrolls game based on them for sure. That might remove their mystery which would kind of suck, but anyway I still want a Dwemer game.
but instead you get elder scrolls VI, thanks Bethesda!
@@SHOCKLT It's been a decade without even a peep, Bethesda's a joke
I think MrRhexx would be an amazing Dungeon Master for D&D.
Oh my god. I could so see that. "You need to roll a d20 to become a god"
I would like an ES game where the Dwemmer return from another dimension or something and you have to fight them. They would have all sorts of futuristic techonology, I think it would be interesting.
Maybe Dwemer went on to become the Brotherhood of Steel In Fallout saga. How's that for a plot twist?
The true list is: Elsweyr, Valenwood, the Summerset Isles, or Black Marsh.
alkhemisti1923 Yeah, it should probably be in Skyrim again. It would be interesting to see the Dwemer ruins as actual cities again.
I like the way these videos are. Kinda "Ancient Aliens" like.
What about a video about where is the dragonborn going after death because of all the promises to all those deadras
^^ i love that question/joke; i've always assumed/hoped that upon His death the Daedric princes would get into a huge fight/pissing match on who'd get to own his soul.
It always made me chuckle whenever i dealt with them
"SURE you can have my soul; get in line lel"
Maybe the final daedra you helped? In that case im fucked...
When you say the names of the cities I die of laughter
Come on Tits Lol true
me too xDDDDD
Your spelling of the word "cities" had the same effect on me.
why did you stop doing lore vids? i really like them and they motivate me to search deeper in the elder scrolls secrets
Will Johnson like?
which ones are alive? from what game
Will Johnson but you have many good points
ohh. but morrowind took place long before skyrim?
prizmo Around 208 years before, yeah.
My theories on how the Dwemer are alive
1. Lost in time : the game tells us multiple times about how multiple things have been lost in time or simply dissappeared to never be heard from again considering they did have an Elder Scrolls who knows ?
2. The Dwemer achieved godhood or are trapped on another plane of existence they were messing with powerful artifacts and either regretted it or achieved everything they set out for
Pretty much both. The Dwemer were zapped in the Numidium, deleted from existence and now the Numidium lives unbound from time and space.
It's likely they might have been sent to another plane of existence, maybe somewhere in Oblivion but who knows, reason I'm thinking they were sent somewhere else is you could conjure one of their machines to fight for you. So if you could do that then it's likely they are somewhere in another dimension or just lost in time
I want a game based on the dwemer..... NOW.
We all want to play a Dwemer >_

i cant use the creation kit for shit
+Midnight_Phantom awesome
+Midnight_Phantom
all souls trapped in a soul gem go to the soul cairn, no dwemers there
Some Animunculi contain empty soul gems or no soul gems at all.
+Midnight_Phantom - Honestly, I see the Dwemer using the Falmer for that purpose; they were a cruel race. I can see them soul-trapping the dead slaves.
*****- It might just be game mechanics, it might not. I don't see making them drop black soul gems as being balanced for Vanilla gameplay.
You forgot to mention that the Dwemer race was divided at the time when the Chimer War occured, and the Heart was used. The Skyrim Dwemer considered The Morrowind Dwemer rivals.
Now, none of this from here on is canon, but here's my theory;
The Skyrim Dwemer used their Elder Scroll to banish the Dwemer race into the future, the same way Alduin was banished.
Like you said, they could read the Scrolls long before anyone else, and without any danger of going blind. They would have known that it was possible to do something like that using the scroll.
Now, consider the circumstances of the time period;
The Skyrim Dwemer were beset by the Nords, and the Falmer Uprising.
For one, to stop their rivals, and also to save their kingdom from collapse
someone tell that infant's mother that he got on the computer
all these baby sounds. i wonder if its trying to speak?
***** Actually it is "infant's" because its possessive =P
Brenden Y So why am i finding Falmer in the Dwemer cities if they had a war.
Clearly the Dwemer studied Tesla.
Jusey1
Problem is that your decision is irrevelant (warp in the west)
+Reaf Kennedy Nice theory, except the Dwener became the "skin" of Numidium.
+Nazim zanim That's not canon. none of the theories about the dwemer are canon
The developer is very careful about what to made canon, so they have the room to change things around down the line. All of the pieces of lore in the Elder Scrolls universe are told through unreliable sources.
Egor Breus Read C0DA, dipshit.
Still, though, this is made of pure awesomeness.
so basically the dwemer are the enclave of the elder scrolls.
So Aetherium is basically oil?
Hah! good comparison.
It glows so it's worth more. It's also harder then anything you could muster up.
Visziaack but people know how oil works
Visziaack Looks like it's time to oil up. :}
I prefer Arcaneum from Overlord.
remember it's skyrim lore, not elder scrolls lore or tamriel lore.
"oh boy i hope they make a skyrim 2"
I don't want that, as what will be new? If they are changing locations there will be even more lore built around that, and wouldn''t be the same
I only played skyrim.... DAFUQ WRE THESE GUYS? Aztecs? Sounds similar. I'm no historian but it seems like a good basis for creating them by Bethesda.
Coldsteak I really liked the dragon born dlc that took place in Solsteim. The environment was fresh and so was the lore. I would definitely be open to elder scrolls 6 taking place north east of skyrim.
Bethesda actually did Sostheim in the Bloodmoon DLC for Morrowind, so it wasn't new back when the Dragonborn DLC was released.
i can't believe i took this long to say this but, i was fucking joking, yall who thought i was serious are idiots
?
Mr.Man The best man. Isn't it such a romantic story?
I don't entire get it.
Mr.Man The best man. Robbie rotten wouldn't get it. He knows nothing of love.
SSHHHH! Don't give away my disguise you fool! Oh wait....
This video is absolutely amazing, it makes me want to try my hand at ESO again :D
I really do hope we get more information on the Dwemer in the next game, I've always had a massive affinity for them
The Dwemer are most likely still alive.
I feel as if I've tuned in to the History Channel. This is good stuff...
Try Shoddycast's lore show, best I have seen on the internet.
A thought that struck me now while watching this again is, what if the reason the dwemer disappeared was because of the divine's intervention? That they were banished as the divine might have felt threatened by the increasing power and technology that the dwemer created. Might be a stretch so its more so a food for thought
Hold on, when you type "Jesus..." in the console, it should say like this:
"Error, Jesus not found." :D
:)
Aldavon or error: no such code
one theory I have found most interesting is the heart transported the dwemer to Aetherius, the gods refused to allow them to return because they believed no mortal should have the power to travel to and from Aetherius
I wish I could learn this in school instead of casual history so awesome!
I agree!
that would be a dream come true!
Kevin Suarez
Chris A I love useless knowledge ^^
i know this is a late comment but i just wanted to say that you are awesome at making lore videos and they sound like a real documentary. really well-made, entertaining content. i really wish the new elder scrolls would just come out already because i would love to watch more of your lore videos on it
So there not dwarfs? That explains why you can fit into there armor.
They're* fixed it for you
its just a prank bro
The explanation in morrowind is that the armor is made up of robot pieces. Check the looks of that armor, instead of the overall pretty looks of skyrim
They were of average height.
+LeTopKek Content please tell me you'RE kidding.
The giants called them dwarves because they were short compared to them.
Interesting, and i thought all those years that the Dwemer where short guys.Bethesda should really add at least one of them in the last DLC.
+LordAnestis the last living dwarf was in the original morrowind game. That game is basically all about the history of the dwemer since the main story is directly involved with their doings. (the original morrowind has the best and deepest story of the games so far)
Eener1000
Really? And to think i have all the games in a collectors edition, think im going to start from the very beginning.
Don't bother with Arena and Daggerfall, they're very had to control.
Gert Ovalstone
Yeah i saw some vids on youtube.
The dwemer names were made while choking with bread
Also, the Dragonborn DLC implies the Dwarven automatons are sentient to at least some degree. The CSlist's notes for the Dwarven spider and sphere claims they make "happy" hisses when told to follow the player character and "disappointed" hisses when told he/she doesn't fancy having a bucket of scrap metal following him/her around.
I hope more automaton followers are included in future games.
Lol the Dwemer were like the Germans of the nazi era. They had the best technology, the most cruel and ruthless and discovered a lot of things before the rest of the world.
Thalmor feels.
America was the most cruel and ruthless.
NEVER LUCKY I was thinking that.
Vasting yes because mass graves and camps somehow just come out of fucking nowhere.
MrAnimepredator I think you should look up your facts you mind fucked sheep.
That's not how the Dwemer died. In the Tribunal expansion you find out that they tried to control the weather and they all turned to ash as a result.
i like how he's very serious when he's talking, but when he tries to read the name of any location... it's just.. hilarious.
So they're not actually dwarves? Nooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Swagshoes68 Dwarves are the best
Dwemer are Steampunk-ish Babylonian Elves, so just deal with it.
DaiMAo24 Nooooooooooo
DaiMAo24 I will deny it forever
Mega Epic Deny what? The fact that dwemer are dwemer? .-.
Dwemer: We Made a Robot that Screams
Other Race: Why
Dwemer: Just Cause!
Elven species
dweMER
falMER
altMER
bosMER
OrsiMER
dunMER
How are there so many species???
+Robo Lizard Khajiits have also blood of mers.
+Czesnek no. They are a one of the beast species. along with the argonian
also you forgot OrisMER
OrsiMER*
+Robo Lizard OlofMEIster
A game set in the Myrethic Era would be cool we could play as a character who was forgotten to time almost like a ghost but witnessed all kinds of things.
Elder Scrolls 6 quest idea, the return of the dwarves
That would be really hard to do actually even for bethesda
The dwemer don't believe and more importantly wouldn't seek help from them.
That's a cool idea but I doubt it could be done
As much as we would all like to see the big reveal of what really happened to the Dwemer, is it not the whole mystery and wonder of the unknown that makes the Dwemer so interesting in the first place?
+Lennyofbassist i agree, the mystery wants you to know what really happened, but when you know it the fun is off
'the city of Ragnthamngfkhllzz'
The dwarves must’ve made a pact with Hermaeus Mora with all their advanced knowledge, and technology. And somehow it connects with the black book that was hoarded in a dwarven dungeon in Solsthiem. And also the Oghma Infinium sealed in a giant dwemer box.
Ahhhhhhhhh....the nostalgia ☺️
the next elder scrolls should be about the dwemer coming back
Its been hinted that Elder Scrolls 6 might be more set around dwemer, and even have a steam-punk type setting. But take it with a grain of salt.
their should also be snow elves
P.S.how could they come back if they all disopeared exept one... (unless he had kin)
according to lore they made themselves disappear (i think) so they could make themselves come back.
that would be cool
I thought Falmer meant snow-elf?
Falmer are what the snow elves became
It means the betrayed
+Six the Courier it doesn't. The Falmer call the twisted creatures that were trapped by the dwemmer the betrayed.
Falmer were snow elves who were betrayed into making a deal which cost them their sight... there are only two snow elves in skyrim ...and the dragonborn must kill one
Agreed. Mer means elf as in Bosmer, Dunmer, Altmer so it cannot mean betrayed
It was Sithis' answer to fighting the spirits that formed in Aetherius)
The fact that information is so vague and they vanished after tampering with the Lorkhan's heart simply adds up that some Daedric influence is involved in their disappearance.
Akatosh, Dibella and such."
We know see what side you chose...
Their cities sound like monsters from the Cthulhu mythos.
Seeing and hearing this lore presentation and comparing to your DnD lore... You've improved, my dude😊
how awesome would it be for numidium to be like the the main boss of the game in elder scrolls six like alduin is in skyrim
If you fought against Numidium, he would just un-create you.
+Matheus Cossuol unless he couldn't
Wyatt Gary But he can.
Tiber Septim had the Numidium. Not the copy from Daggerfall.
yeah he just had to find a new power source.
+Joseph Mort Perhaps he just used his dragon blood to power up the robot.
Wasn't it the souped up soul gem?
containing the soul of a shezzarine
The dwemer are awesome but I think the next elder scrolls game( or future ES games) should take place on the continent of akavira. I just think that's a bad ass place and not much is know about the climate or the 5 races that inhabit it also the worlds largest dragon lives there, which use to be one of the tiger people but ascended as a dragon king.
As cool as that would be. . .you can't blame them for wanting to use more of this massive amount of lore written for Tamriel. Switching over would be a little unrealistic and would take a little too long, I think.
Well I'm just saying I think they should go that that continent in future es games that would be the shit. Akavira is just shrouded in mysterios
what about THE HOLE nirn?
Fuck no they won't, I bet you there going to do all continents.
exactly
Great video!! I like the extra bounce at the end. "With the Dark Elf"
So, I am going to list all the elves known to me. Add any more that I forgot.
Falmer: Snow Elves
Altmer: High Elves
Dwemmer: Deep Elves
Bosmer: Wood Elves
Dunmer: Dark Elves
Orisimer: ? Elves
+ὛƉἷḋȖƉash Orisimer: Dank Elves
+ὛƉἷḋȖƉash Orisimer are orcs and yes orcs are elves because they are "Mer" :I
+lio INDEX
Sorry if I wasn't clear. I know the Orsimer are orcs. But all elf names mean something, like Falmer means Snow Elves, mer meaning elf. So what does Orsi mean? Orsi - ? Mer - Elf
+ὛƉἷḋȖƉash Orsimer or Orcs are "cursed elfs". They were cursed by the Daedric Prince Malacath.
ChickenApocalypseGamer TheLordoftheChickens Orsimer. Also known as "cursed elves".
Those derp ruin names
.... The Dwemer were elfs? My life is ruined.
They were only called dwarfs by the giants due to them being the first elven or human race the giants ever met
Ya, I know.... ;3
Community: How is the dragonborn able to wield keening?
Bethesda: I dunno lol
I have a request - The Ebony Warrior - Who is he ?
Some random guy Beth added to add some challenge/ an actual 'boss'. He is in no way important to the lore.
Also is there any info on the Ideal Masters
Josh McClure The Ideal Masters? Nothing is known about them because nobody has contacted them. The only two that have had some contact with the Ideal Masters was that old vampire woman and Durnevhiir.
Personally, I believe they're just counter balance to power. Every power has something to control it, otherwise they'd run rampant and cause all sorts of power. So, I guess they're just constructs made by the Daedra to keep order in that slither of Oblivion.
anti whaaa ?,?
Chuck Norris OF COURSE!
Elder Scrolls 6 wishlist: Dwemer DLC
Chibi1986
You also have to remember that before Tiber Septim took the throne it did look like that but after 300+ years of cultivation, civilization, and the age of man rising, the landscape is going to change. Just look at the U.S. places like New Orleans, New York, and Washington D.C. were originally swampy wetlands until being built on. So its not hard to imagine that the whole landscape would change due to civilizations sprouting.
Brandon Dougherty : I was thinking more of the Arena depictions, which were relatively close to the PGttE depictions.
Oh ok. I haven't played Arena yet so in terms of what it should look like is still a mystery.
Wow I finally found a RUclipsr who is interested in the back story of the Elder Scrolls you just earned a sub
Someone could make a REAL MOVIE of this story :D this would epic, and better than lotr and Hobbit
Perhaps not better, but just as good. I would love this. Defs better than Game of Thrones
Game of Thrones is the best!
Argon zoyd
Yo, I meant in my opinion, sorry dude. Both worlds are fantastic tho.
Wrong
yeah i'm with him here
You would make a wonderful history teacher.
I've been obsessed with the Dwemer for a while now. There has to be a mod or a future game where we can play as them. They have never even appeared in a game yet, but for the little i've learned about them in the first 3 minutes of video, i already love them as my favorite race, fuck Bretons.
They have appeared in a game, one of them appeared in Morrowind.
Here is a neat looking mod for your dwemer fandom :3
www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34536/?tab=4&&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D34536%26page%3D1%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D962891&pUp=1
There can also be something in which you manage to communicate with Arniel who can give you information on what the Dwemmer are planning next and how you can defeat them
They should make an Elder Scrolls game around this!
So many mers.
Altmer
Aldmer
Falmer
Bosmer
Orsimer
Dunmer
Dwemer
Manomer(or something)
Shimmer
Chimer*
At least, we have Bretons.
It's a Dawn Guard quest?! No wonder I couldn't find the book!
What would win:
A.) an army of mortals who have surpassed the gods in knowledge and power
B.) some knife
All this time I thought they were some sort of ancient Nords before the time of Ysgramor
Brian MadGil me too
yes.. because nords suddenly degenerate instead of advancing in technology
+TARANCHULA7 I thought they were just a close related cousin species to the nords (like Neanderthals or something)
So if numidium disappeared and Septimus Signus found the heart that powered it wouldn't that mean that it's still somewhere in tamriel?
Well if you remember the quest, I do not believe the heart of Lorkhan was in the box instead there was the Oghma Infinium book.
Mikey Kaskamin That would mean that the vault of the Ohgma Infinium in Skyrim is a part of the Numidium copy.
In Elder Scrolls Morrowind you have to destroy it to stop Dagoth Ur.
heres something to think upon if the god had been killed but its heart survives do you think that when they put the heart in the brass god could the robot be possesed by the gods soul
***** the god isnt lorkhan. lorkhan is the vampire king
10 years.
Where has the time gone
there needs to be a dwemer dlc :P
Mistter Boombastic
Maybe about Numidium? I mean... it's been mentioned in the prophecy
Play Morrowind.
