For everyone who is having the "seemlesscoop/locale no fallback" error... You in fact DID NOT follow this video incorrectly. It just wasn't correct, or isn't anymore. I followed the video exactly and then solved the error by dragging the complete seemless coop folder into the the game directory (outside of the mods folder). Now it works fine.
I followed your step and it loaded, but do you know why it tells me that I have inappropriate activity detected?

You need to have the "SeamlessCoop" folder INSIDE the game directory and the files from Seamless Co-op INSIDE the mods directory as well (just the files). It works well now

I FIGURED OUT A FIX FOR 1.09 EVERYONE
the ONE thing i did differently from this vid was just to move these two files from the seamless co op folder-
elden_ring_seamless_coop.dll and the seamlesscoopsettings text file (where you put your password for Seamless)
and put them in the mods folder in your game directory. You can make the mods file or i think elden mods might automatically make one. but do that. suddenly everything worked for me.
hope it works for you guys! after that i ran from the mod engine .bat file and it was all good.

I'm only confused about where you'd put other mods, such as reskins, after changing the mod engine path to the randomizer folder. Im assuming I'd just have to go the other route and swap them out in 'parts' or 'chr' whatever?

I did everything but neither seemless nor the randomizer are working when i launch jt using launchmod_eldenring but it says sus activity offline ive used seemless b4 and had no issues but when i use modloader nothing happens

This video helped me out! I was able to get it all setup. However for the berserker armor It was unfortunately only able to load the Dragonslayer sword as the armor wasn't showing or available at the twin maiden husks. I saw in troubleshooting I may need to get the latest version of ModEngine which I believe I do have I'm using the preview 4 in the link you provided here. Thanks for your help anyway!
I know what the issue is. Download the optional file that is the newer reg bin from the mod page. Use that reg bin instead of the one it came with

my seamless coop mod works fine, randomizer also works fine but the modengine launcher just activates the randomizer mod not the seamless coop mod

When me and my friend use the same "Separate enemy seed" we get different enemys and the seed won't save :(
Clicking on launchmod_eldenring does nothing, it doesn't open the game for me.
My game loads but the game wont randomize no matter what I do. When I take seemless coop out it randomizes just fine, but something about seemless coop being in my mods folders overrides my randomizer and it doesn't work

Anybody having the problem where you can't have seamless co-op and randomizer on at the same time: Make sure that the dinput8.dll and mod_loader_config files from the Mod Loader file are in the "Game" file (where the eldenring.exe file is). In that same file, make sure there is a folder that says mods that contains elden_ring_seamless_coop.dll and seamlesscoopsettings from the SeamlessCoop folder.
I did this, and it says that seamless coop locale has no fallback
i dont understand everytime i try to zip the file it doesnt have any of the randomized stuff saved on it, its just a blank file. Any idea?

so i have everything set up to where i can get in game without any issues, everything is randomized just fine however, all the items required to use coop have an "ICON" symbol instead of their normal image, and none of them function correctly, when i run the vanilla game with just the coop mod it works fine, but the randomizer isnt playing nice with the coop mod for me for some reason

I think there is an issue with the new 1.5.1 version of Seamless coop. If you are like me the randomizer launch just fine but seamless coop isn't active while if you launch seamlesscoop alone it work just fine. Just gonna wait ig
Have a copy of the seamlesscoop folder in the game directory in addition to a copy of those files in the mod folder.

Doesn't work. It will just open the normal eldenring with my normal save files. I don't have access to the seamless coop.

In the new Co-op update there's an additional folder called locale. Drag that new folder into the SeamlessCoop folder in the Game directory and it should work

I perfectly downloaded the randomizer + seamlesscoop mod, and my friend also followed the video aswell, but for some reason when he loads the launchmod_eldenring.bat folder it wont actually randomize, the seamless coop loads, but not the randomizer, help?

No session found error. All other mods work fine but cant host or join. Same password, same game version, same updated seamless, past first grace site. And ive been to the discord, not helpful at all.

Need to make sure your modengine is looking for it. As this sets up for it to look for the randomizer.

Bro it works perfectly for my friend but only I get the "Failed to load Seamless Coop" from the Elden Mod Loader when i launch it . Everything is randomized , same way as my friend ofc because we shared the randomizer file but i'm not in seamless coop but he is because i seem to fail to load it
Is your game pirated? Are you using the Elden mod loader correctly? You need to put the seamless exe in your game directory, and the seamless dll and I'm in your mods folder that comes with the Elden mod loader that you put into your game directory

I followed the tutorial but when I start EldenRing with the launchmod_eldenring,bat the game give me the "Innapropiate Activity" and seamlesscoop don't work. Without randomizer its seems to work perfectly. What can it be?

me and my brother followed step by step. We got the randomizer to work, then we got the seamless to work, but together we just both keep getting session not found. Password are the same, randomizer seeds 1 and 2 are the same but still no session found. please help :(
Make sure you are both using the same seamless coop patch. I've seen several people not do that.
Since the last Elden Ring update my friend and I have not been able to join each other to play. We can open the game and run it just fine on our own, but his game crashes every time he try's to join my session through seamless coop.
Note that we do have a randomizer seed going as well. We have played it for about 30 hours now with no issue until this latest update. Anyone know a way to fix this?
The mods do not automatically update with the version, so one or both of them probably became incompatible due to the update. Try finding a newer file on the download pages of those mods.
How would one undo the randomizer? Say I wanted to do a randomized run with one person and normal seamless with another, how would I go back to it being "unrandomized" without uninstalling it?

Edit: Fixed it! My mod was out of date. Stupid error on my part, but it works! Make sure your mods are up to date.

I want to ask for advice.
My friend and I tryed playing this. Randomizer + Seamless Coop and everything worked and quite well. We played two sessions over two days, consisting of maybe 10 hrs of gameplay.
Now the third session my friend is stuck on a black screen on startup. Then AltF4 is the only solution.
Things we tried: updating windows, updating drivers, verifying game game files on steam, reinstalling elden ring and adding fresh mods again, booting the game with administrator.
The problem is still there. It was fixed for one launch and only with seamless coop after reinstalling elden ring. But then adding the mod engine 2 with the randomizer fuck it again.
Any ideas?
yea man your screwed never alt f4 the game or you can get permanently stuck i recommend regularly backing up your save to avoid this.
For Anyone having an issue where it cant find the dll here is what i did.... The way i fixed it was i took the 2 files from the seamlesscoop folder and dragged them into the elden ring game file then dragged the seamlesscoop folder and also put it in the game folder and left the files in there as well and launch through mod engine and should work... LIKE this so people can also resolve this annoying issue and can find a solution.
i did evrything right, but when i try to run the game with launchmod_eldenring, i got a message : locale path 'seamlessCoop\locale ' not found which has no fallback!.

Had the same problem, I was able to fix this by putting the seamlesscoop folder in the game directory, then go into the folder and COPY the .dll and .ini files and put them in the mods folder that is in the directory too. Hope this helps

I have a problem when have the game launched up, I get a notification saying "Inappropiate activiy detected" "Unable to start in online mode" can anyone help?
Same brother. I can get each mod to work individually (Seamless, Diablo style loot, Enemy / Item Randomizer) however the randomizer seems to override the coop. There was some pop-up saying a file was missing for the seamless coop "No fallback" and whenever I try to launch the game through the .BAT it just launches normally but detects mods and kicks me offline.

I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong, or what might be wrong with my files. This is like the 3rd tutorial to setup co-op rando I'm trying and I am about to give up, because base game works on it's own, Seamless co-op works on it's own, but when I try to activate the .bat for rando after everything is set up, it no longer even notices seamless co-op, as in it's not seeing it in mods folder or something? I honestly have no clue ... Booting up Randomizer just makes it launch base game with message about "inapropriate activity ..." or something and launches base game in offline mode, with Rando working, cause I checked and already during character creation everything is all jumbled up which is what I want, but ... co-op? how? why? 😮💨I'm tired, boss ...
Lot of people have the same issue. You are likely missing something with the set up. I have an abundance of people running into this because they don't have the mod loader, and modengine set up right
@@ScrubMilk So I managed to find a fix to my issue, now I only hope it's not a temporary fix. Long story short, my PC died a few months back and I had to reinstall Windows, had to set up a new directory for Steam and now I have Steam folder with files I can't move around and Steam 2 where I install games anew. Even though there's no traces of ER in old Steam folder, the Randio was trying to force it's way thru that location, somehow managed to find and launch the game, but unable to activate mods with it (aka just Seamless) because they were not in the same folder. Took a moment to force my way around it, because Rando was resetting to wrong folder on it's own, but I finally got it all to work and can start Rando-co-op~

Randomize enemies and items > send file to friend > click separate enemy randomizer > click don’t reroll seed (or something like that)

I can't seem to get the seamless coop mod to work with the randomizer. Both work separately . I can launch the coop exe, I can also launch the eldenring bat as well. If I launch the bat file, seamless does not seem to work, but the randomizer does. Says inappropriate activity is detected. I might've missed a step, but I have rewatched the video a few times to make sure, I think I am overlooking something
Sounds like your modengine isn't seeing seamless. Make sure you have the Elden mod loader set up in your game directory. As shown in the video you need that. So you can have the seamless dll in the mod folder in the game directory along with the ini.
@@ScrubMilk Trust me, I spent four hours with my friends troubleshooting this and I still kept getting “inappropriate activity”. Separately, Seamless and the mod work, but together it gets that error. We have no idea how to fix it

@@ScrubMilk Nope, we all purchased it off Steam. The other two can make it work no problem, I’m the only one with issues. It’s so bad I uninstalled Elden and I’m reinstalling it to see if that’ll work.

Hey, any way to get coop/randomizer with different item spawns for everyone. As in we all pickup the same item but its random for all player
I believe you can separate the seed and the mobs, so just make sure everyone has the same seed for mobs and the desync should be no problem

So, I just tried this following those instructions, and putting the seamless co-op files into the "mods" folder, but the instant I launch Seamless Co-op, I get "failed to find elden_ring_seamless_coop.dll", and it fails to load the mod.I get the same message after setting up the ModEngine and the randomiser using the BAT file. Valid-Purchase Steam Copy of Elden Ring. Seamless COOP Beta 1.4.3 and Randomizer version 0.6.1

The randomizer and the seamless coop is launching together, but me and my friend cant get into eachothers session, it just says failed, no sessions found. we have the same password

Nope, long as you have run it yourself and then sent them that, they just need to unzip is and put it in their mod folder

i keep making a seed and send a compressed folder to my friend (via google drive), but he keeps recieving blank seed. do you know what the hell i'm doing wrong or what the problem may be?

Hey, everything worked just fine, until some little time later after opening the game an error pops up saying that SeamlessCoop failed to find all necessary game signatures. Also it stated that the game version may not be appropiate for the mod, or that I may have an incompatible mod installed. I tried with the mod's newest version and the one before. Any solution to this?

I can't seem to get this to work. I've done every single step in this section correctly except one, which is putting the seamless co op contents in the "mods" folder. It seems like the mod is updated or something, as putting the files in the mods folder no longer works, as you will get the "locale no fallback error". The fix for this is just having the entire seamless coop folder within the game directory. I'm having another issue, where every time I try to load the mods via the launchmod, it will not only solely load the randomizer mod, but also disable online with the "inappropriate" message. I'm still new to downloading mods in general, but I suspect this problem is due to the steps being slightly different, as that's the only thing I did differently from the rest of the guide. I'm really struggling here, and I've been trying to get this to work for a while. I'm trying to reinstall the game now, and re follow every step in this guide again, but i have a bad feeling that won't work either

Watch closely. You likely set up wrong, no other reason for it
@@ScrubMilk Same issue, literally did everything you did step by step, watched 3 more times and made sure I didn't deviate at all. Now Seemless co-op has been updated so this video may just be outdated, for example seamless co-op config file looks different now than it did in the video
